Great slice options, and the everything pizza bagel is fantastic. This is a great stop just outside Tanger Outlet Mall.

I used to frequent Juventus for a slice but I haven't stopped by until today. I must say after having pizza from many places since my last stop here, unfortunately this was a pretty average slice. I opted for the most traditional slice of course, the chicken bacon ranch. I should add that I arrived very shortly after opening so nothing was ready yet. This isn't a dig, I just want to highlight that I had the freshest pizza possible that day, this essentially was them at their best. Well, the chicken was lacking in more than one department, not much flavor, not very moist, and simply not enough of it. I order a CBR slice because of the chicken mainly so when there isn't enough and all I get is bacon, ranch, and cheese most bites it just doesn't hit the same. Their crust is also quite peculiar, it presents itself as light and airy on the outside but you bite through and it's a lot chewier than it leads on. It also strangely lacked flavor? I know crust isn't super flavorful but what happened here? The flavor was akin to that of an unsalted soda cracker, like I know the flavor is there but is it really? Not exactly impressed and although it wasn't a bad slice by any means, it just wasn't the ideal CBR slice for me.

Brought my son and his friends here to have some pizza after his bday party. I ordered two large pies, one pepperoni and one plain. The slices were kind of small considering I ordered large pies. The pizza tasted ok, did not have much flavor and lacked crunch. I have had better pizza in Queens. The restaurant was a bit outdated but the staff was very friendly.

Cozy little neighborhood pizzeria. The staff are so kind. Really liked the Pepperoni Roll and the Buffalo Chicken Roll. The outside of the bread was so crispy. The Mac & Cheese Calzone was so delicious. I love the Mac & Cheese Calzone. To have both in one was perfect. The Garlic Knots Tri Color pizza with three different sauces was good. The Mozzarella Sticks and Fries Buffalo pizza was interesting too.

Great pizza! We had a small pizza party at my sister's house and we ordered a pepperoni pie and a chicken marsala pie. We also ordered calamari. The calamari traveled well was was very tasty, sauce was great too. The Pepperoni pie was my husbands favorite, grwat sauce and very generous with the pepperoni. I looooved the chicken marsala pizza, also generous with chicken. Mushrooms and sauce super delicious. We are all looking forward to ordering again!

    Their specials are so good!

The aesthetic is cozy and energetic... it gives me more of modern feel... they incorporate specials which I love I'd come here on a lunch which I have and or just a family night ... the food is fresh and the only con which I'm writing so that ppl are drawn to it ... they need more of a team more workers the one cashier was pleasant and helpful if anything I had the upmost respect for this young lady who tended to us and a lot of hungry people during lunch time... the location is in the cut! And they make personal pies for kids if requested

Whether you're popping in for a quick slice or settling in for a full sit-down dinner, Mama's consistently delivers -- and then some. Let's start with the basics: the grandma pizza is exceptional. Thick, pillowy, perfectly crisped on the bottom with a rich, flavorful sauce -- it's everything a grandma pie should be. But don't stop there. The chicken parm hero is, without exaggeration, one of the best you'll find on Long Island. Generous, satisfying, and packed with flavor, it's the kind of sandwich that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. For those seeking something more elevated, the chicken francese is a standout -- light, lemony, and beautifully balanced. And the Bolognese sauce is a slow-simmered masterpiece, rich and deeply savory, the kind that makes you want to mop the plate clean with a piece of bread. What truly sets Mama's apart, though, is the people. Manager Nicole runs the front of house with warmth and genuine care, making every guest feel like a regular from the moment they walk in. Server Carol is an absolute delight -- attentive, friendly, and the kind of server who makes the whole experience feel effortless and personal. Mama's is the rare restaurant that works for every occasion. Date night, birthday celebration, graduation dinner, anniversary -- or just a Tuesday when you need a great slice. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is consistently outstanding, and the staff makes you want to come back. Simply put: Mama's is a neighborhood treasure.

I'm not sure what ever became of the old owner and his wife, but they owned and ran Cafe Dolce Vita for decades - I recall when it was located in the plaza next door at 1966 Deer Park Avenue, and we used to go there when I was a student at DPHS. Let me tell you; I still think of their chicken marsala pizza, or their pinwheels. I knew pizza didn't have to be just plain cheese or pepperoni, but that a pizza could have chicken marsala on it was life-changing for me. If a pizza could have chicken marsala on it, why, it could have just about anything on it. I don't know if I'll ever get back to Deer Park someday, or if Cafe Dolce Vita will still be there when I do, but if it is I will absolutely be stopping in. All these haters don't know the half of Cafe Dolce Vita's story and status as one of the grand dames of pizza joints in Deer Park and the fact that some of these newer places crowding the town weren't even a glimmer in their owner's eye when Cafe Dolce Vita was already the older, established joint in town. So what if the old owner was a bit gruff. He made pizza so good I still remember it nearly twenty years later. And it looks like the place is still going strong. Don't let the flame die out! The pizza here is a treasure of the town, and stands on its own merits.

I was starving so anything would taste good - you would think. Based on previous pictures they seemed to give a generous amount of protein (2-3 pieces stacked of chicken in chicken parm pics). I'm not really a sandwich person because I find it quite rare to be wowed by them besides some really good ones on the must eat sandwich list of nyc. I agree with other reviewers that it's odd how there are no prices listed when previously they had the prices written. That does make the cost subject to change but I would hope that is that not the case on a daily basis. I ordered based on the yelp pictures and went with the chicken parm and big mitch. When we got the order. I was like wow these are big. The two sandwiches were a tad over $28. I was honestly surprised a sandwich cost this much but it does help that they are big and hopefully good. Anything is worth the price as long as it's good. I take a bite of the mitch and gave my partner a look. He's like let me guess, chicken is dry? Replied yeah..and no flavor. Maybe add more pesto and put it on both sides of the sandwich? Not sure. My Italian friend owns a shop in the boroughs and makes killer sandwiches. I don't know their secret for success that they always get long lines everyday but I do know you will never get a dry bland chicken. As for the chicken parm, there was only one layer of chicken! Man I was super disappointed. I specifically ordered this for more chicken. I understand why they put less sauce - so it's not soggy but maybe a tad more sauce would be helpful. This was equally dry and soggy. The cheese was really good and helped. I'm a huge supporter of local business, especially mom and pop shops. I think growing up in the boroughs really spoiled me with food choices. If you're hungry and just care about portion, I guess this is a good option around here. Honestly, I just drive back to the boroughs for food. Probably not economical and gas friendly but anything I intake needs to be worth my calories. I workout way too hard to consume food not up to par. This shop looks very clean and welcoming.
