Great Greek salad with chicken had generous portions. Served on a plate but I recommend they serve it in a bowl as it is but hard to manage on a plate. The tomato sauce on the pasta was fantastic. The meatballs although tender were not my favorite. Also calling a dish a meatball parm I expected it to be on a hero not meatballs with pasta. Maybe I didn't read the menu thoroughly I don't know. Tried a new local pizza spot for dinner (new to me, not to the area). They have quite an interesting variety on the menu, it was hard to choose. They had a special on Sundays for a $15 large cheese pizza so I snagged that deal for the kids. Then I went with a small white pizza with a garlic knot crust and a large hot honey pepperoni alla vodka pizza. Also got 6 regular garlic knots and 6 sweet chili knots and an order of Buffalo mozzarella sticks. Pros were definitely the sweet chili knots and hot honey pizza. They were both very tasty but I feel like the knots could have used a dipper. The regular garlic knots were fine but I didn't love the marinara that came with it to dip. It didn't taste authentic to me. The white pizza was also very good and I loved that they had the unique crust options available. The regular cheese pizza didn't taste like it was freshly made to me and the buffalo mozzarella sticks were good but not crispy like regular mozzy sticks. The food was all very greasy though, I was a little concerned about it seeping through the bag on to my car seats. They give 5% off if you order online which was a nice perk considering most places charge extra when you use a credit card. I will definitely try more things from here! read more

I used to frequent Juventus for a slice but I haven't stopped by until today. I must say after having pizza from many places since my last stop here, unfortunately this was a pretty average slice. I opted for the most traditional slice of course, the chicken bacon ranch. I should add that I arrived very shortly after opening so nothing was ready yet. This isn't a dig, I just want to highlight that I had the freshest pizza possible that day, this essentially was them at their best. Well, the chicken was lacking in more than one department, not much flavor, not very moist, and simply not enough of it. I order a CBR slice because of the chicken mainly so when there isn't enough and all I get is bacon, ranch, and cheese most bites it just doesn't hit the same. Their crust is also quite peculiar, it presents itself as light and airy on the outside but you bite through and it's a lot chewier than it leads on. It also strangely lacked flavor? I know crust isn't super flavorful but what happened here? The flavor was akin to that of an unsalted soda cracker, like I know the flavor is there but is it really? Not exactly impressed and although it wasn't a bad slice by any means, it just wasn't the ideal CBR slice for me. read more

Great pizza! We had a small pizza party at my sister's house and we ordered a pepperoni pie and a chicken marsala pie. We also ordered calamari. The calamari traveled well was was very tasty, sauce was great too. The Pepperoni pie was my husbands favorite, grwat sauce and very generous with the pepperoni. 2.5 stars My job orders pizza from here which is decent so I decided to order lunch for myself. I ordered a small house salad with shrimp and 2 cheese knots. The salad was pretty big for a small and the shrimp were flavorful and grilled perfectly. However, it was about 3 cups of iceberg lettuce and 4 slices of tomato, 4 slices of cucumber and 6 tiny baby shrimp. I was not pleased to know that that's what cost me $14. Went here for lunch and had their lunch special 2 slices and a can of soda. Ordered their margarita slice and Buffalo chicken slice. Both were good. The margarita slice was nice and sweet. It does not happen often but Yelp really threw me off with this place. I dont know for the life of me why this place gets such great reviews. And I read a bunch of them before I wrote this to verify they are real....and they do seem to be so Im still confused. Then I walked up to the counter and the specialty slices that looked cool in the pics....did not look like the pics. lol I could tell my Sister was not pleased either by the selection...and to be honest, I should have just left there but was still holding out hope it could be good and I was hungry. Plus...they were delivering a bunch of pies so I still was optimistic. My Sister suggested a Chicken Parm Hero and a slice each. I liked the idea and agreed and we took a seat and waited. The slice was not terrible but it was not that good. It was greasy from cheap cheese and very generic red sauce on it. It was huge which was cool but not crispy and little soggy. Ugh....I was not feeling good about this Chicken Parm Hero after the slice. The Hero came out and it looked terrible. A generic roll with not good chicken cutlets and the same cheese and generic red sauce. Im not joking...it was like the Hero I would get on my college campus 6 hours upstate from the cafeteria. Came by before the shopping outlets to have a quick bite. Small shop, cute interior. My bf and I made it a few minutes before lunch ended so we both had the pasta lunch special. For 8.95 you get a canned drink and a decent sized pasta portion. I cannot review on the pizza but the pasta was delicious and hot. She took my order and expressed the food would arrive in 40-45 minutes which was perfect! I even added some garlic knots after reading the food reviews they had! After about 25 minutes my doorbell rang and it was the delivery man. I was shocked at how fast the food came! I paid him and went to put the food on the table. I got side tracked for 10 minutes while my guests were arriving. When I went to put the food out, it was the completely wrong order. It was 3 calzones and 2 sausage pizzas. I was so embarrassed. My guests were hungry and they couldn't even eat because it wasn't our order and we don't eat pork. I was so upset and immediately called the restaurant. The girl again picked up and I explained I received the wrong order and my guests were starving and getting impatient. She simply said she was sorry and that they were going to bring my correct order. 30 MINUTES LATER the doorbell rang and it was the same delivery man. He gave me my correct order and had the nerve to ask for the incorrect order back (not that we even ate it). Don't get me wrong, the garlic dots and the pizza were delicious and crispy, but because of the experience I'm not sure I want to order from here again. Had Veal Parmesan dinner where the veal had the right amount of crunch, well seasoned covered in a nice sweet marinara and perfectly melted mozzarella. I got a side of al dente penne in olive oil and lots of sautéed garlic, loved it. The side toasted Italian bread was just ok. Should have thrown a couple of garlic knots in the basket and a little dipping bowl of seasoned olive oil to just take it over the top. Overall good tasty portions for the price. Real deal. The food here is fantastic. I work down the block and have tried almost all of their slices. Haven't had a bad one yet. Best pizza on Long Island IMHO. Balsamic chicken - fresh mozzarella, Tomatos, basil, grilled chicken, balsamic glaze. (My personal favorite) The Sicilian is light and crispy. Not chewy or doughy in the slightest. You can tell all of the ingredients are excellent quality. The pizza is not oily at all. Even with pepperoni or meatballs it's not oily. The balsamic glaze is thick and sweet. It's basically liquid crack that I wish they served in a shot glass with the pizza. Their crush is thin and crispy. Tried a few heros and they were all very good. I really like the eggplant parm and chicken caprese (grilled chicken, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, basil, balsamic) The owners are very friendly. Nice decor and atmosphere. Well priced. The guy who makes the pies is passionate about the food. Always asking us what we like and what we want more of. I can't say enough good things about this place. Not the fanciest of place but they serve some very good pizza and pasta dishes at this little Deer Park pizzeria/ restaurant right outside the Tanger Outlets. The pizza is nicely done, crispy and the sauce has good flavor. Chicken Marsala was nicely done but didn't need the sautéed onions in it. Really good was the side of penne with a tasty marinara sauce. Equally good are the baked ziti and the calzones are freshly prepared. Service was a little slow but friendly and tabs are quite cheap making this a better option for dinner than most places in the area.
