My go to pizzeria when I am in Huntington. Great variety of pies and great quality ingredients.

This pizza was just okay. The crust was quite thick and the toppings were generous though almost too heavy. The grandma slice was much greasier than expected and kind of difficult to bite. The veggie pizza was piled high but with very little seasoning on them, making the pizza slightly watery. Many pizzerias to pick from - won't be returning here. read more

Ordered a pie, picked it up got home it was the wrong pie. Called up and whoever answered the phone was a rude MF. Said he gave us what we ordered and he's been doing this for 50 years and he told me what I ordered is what he gave me. I clearly ordered a different pie but I was wrong lmao. The reason I know what I ordered is because I've only ordered from this place six times and I get the same thing every time. SAME EXACT PIE EACH TIME!! don't tell me what I ordered and don't be rude. With all fairness, Rosa's deserves a 3.75, the pizza was excellent definitely one of the best regular slices on Long Island hands-down and the upside down. Sicilian was also delicious. The gentleman who help me was super nice and I told him "nice and hot" he knew exactly what that meant. Only issues I had was it was freezing inside, so I guess the owner didn't think it was time to put the heat on and eating there was very uncomfortable and we had to rush out and also on the TV there was playing mass from church kept hearing "our father" while I was eating just created a weird vibe, I almost felt like I was in confession lol the inside is not great for staying in and eating, but the pizza was outstanding ! read more

Wish they would stop heating the salad slice that would be amazing! Bc a cold salad slice heated is just gross. Otherwise I love the pizza the there. But man that salad slice warmed just really pisses me off! My daughter tried to stop it but they move so fast or they just ignored her but bad service with her way. I just gobbled down two of Rosa's vodka slices and they were out of this ever-lovin' world! I cannot even describe how good the sauce was, and how the slice held together, unlike a lot of real soupy and slidey vodka slices, but the absolute best thing about these slices was the SIZE!! Rosa's seems to be the hub for pizza in Huntington, every time I've passed it by it's packed. Dinner time? Packed. Lunch time? Packed. Breakfast time??? PACKED! Maybe that's a reach but I think you know what I'm trying to say. This place is POPULAR among locals and I can understand why, this is a rather spacious pizzeria that holds two floors of seating so you shouldn't have an issue finding a table. Though I love a pepperoni topped pizza, the only way to judge a pizza location that generates this much buzz is the original way, plain cheese. This was a solid slice. The cheese was salty and stretchy, the sauce was a bit sweet, and the crust was crisp and airy which is a plus, I'm not fond of dense crusts. Is this the best cheese pizza I've had though? No. But I don't think that's why this place is so popular. The place itself just seems to be the perfect go-to spot for you and friends given the space and relaxed atmosphere. I have been here many times and usually eat it in here but after last week- never again. I'll eat it when I get home. There is this very gross smell of some kind of cleaner that they use and it fills the air - so when you eat your slice - you can almost taste the cleaner ON your pizza. The other thing is- I have smelled this same gross VERY pungent cleaner smell in other restaurants. It's NOT an ammonia or bleach smell - much much worse. Huntington seems to be a village that attracts good restaurants. This one has been here for decades and looks to be the most popular. Never seems to go down in quality. The pizza is good, but the attitude is awful. The guy taking our order was rude, and the guy at the register was disgraceful. We asked if the channel could be changed because it was once again a religious station holding mass. The man said "absolutely not" and walked away. Also, for the past year or so, they have hundreds of pizza boxes piled up on the stairs and in front of the windows, blocking all views. Ambiance: I agree with the reviewers about the atmosphere inside. There is just a weird vibe. The TV volume is aways high so its hard to ignore the often very distracting programming on the TV. It is often too cold in the restaurant. Service: The owner is the cashier and he doesn't ring up individual item prices. He just comes up with a price for everything together and I have noticed that the total cost is not always consistent every time I visit this pizzeria although I purchase the same items regularly. BEST PIZZA IN HUNTINGTON VILLAGE! I'll say that again......best pizza in Huntington village! Now, we all love Little V's after the bars..it's a classic stop before heading home. I personally don't care for cold cheese on my pizza but it's a popular item at Little V's (Little V's pizza is just fine without the cold cheese). But if you want a little variety...you'll have to walk over to Rosa's. Their selection of slices is second to none! Everything is on display and read to be scarfed down. My go-to go-to slice here is the buffalo pizza. It's probably more chicken than anything else but I savor every bite! The chicken cutlet is chopped up perfectly. I hadn't tried a lot of Long Island Pizza so I Rosa to the occasion and came here. My friends and other Yelpers absolutely love the pizza here, and I liked it a lot a couple of years ago on my only visit, so I came back recently to see if it was still as good, or better than I thought, and they had closed down. I think they are renovating but hopefully they come back with full force, I can stop by again, because I used to love their stuff but want a do-over. The closing was kind of without warning and the internet didn't have anything about it so I'm not going to give them 5 stars until they open back up and prove to be as good as I remember. read more

Terrible service. Absolutely atrocious. I went in with my girlfriend to get some slices of pizza and did not get my order taken until I got to the register; when I told the cashier what I wanted to order he told me to get to the back of the line since they were too busy. I then said I will wait and he repeated to me to get out of his way. I then said all i want is to order pizza, i am a paying customer. BEWARE - Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 7:55 PM ALL SERVERS working behind the counter were NOT wearing masks. On the door it states that all patrons must wear masks to enter, but how bizarre that the four young workers (making pizza, taking orders, serving and cashier) did not have a mask on. This lack of desire or care to follow NY State safety guidelines during COVID-19 is appalling and downright scary. Every patron waiting on line were wearing masks and took the safety standards seriously! When I confronted the workers for not donning masks they all just gave me a blank stare. The interior is cold during the winter season and it's good pizza when you're drunk I guess. Some of the channels on the TV are weird choices one time I came in and the P Diddy documentary was on. Not really appropriate but whatever. It's a shame because the pizza is really delicious but the customer service is lacking. For a few weeks I've been stopping by for 2 slices and this is probably my last visit. I got out of work and asked for a Sicilian. Saw the guy put a new Sicilian out but they still gave me the old one and up-charged me. Prices are always different and this last time it was 7.75 for 2 slices, which is just crazy. The owner shook his head judging me because I didn't buy drinks or more food. I'm sorry I don't spend all my money here but after this interaction they just lost a regular. read more

Went back recently and the service was a little better.. but the main reason for this update was that the pizza was the legit. The vodka slices are amazing- some of the best pizza I've ever had. The margarita is damn good too, though the sauce is a little too tangy. Pepperoni and grandma slices are on point. Talking this pizza by the slice as good as a fresh pie.. but the winner by far is the vodka slice. It's phenomenal. The BBQ and buffalo chicken slices are still weird though.. not terrible but not great. Way too much chicken (hard to believe there could be too much chicken but there is) and not nearly enough mozzarella or blue cheese. read more
