10-3-25. Pleasantly surprised with this small pizza joint. Stopped in for lunch and ordered a margarita slice and an everything chicken slice. What is an everything chicken slice you may ask? Well the counter person explained it this way ........ We take everything from all the specialty chicken slices they make and throw it all on the pie. It did have a lot going on.....BBQ sauce, ranch sauce, buffalo sauce, chicken, bacon and some mozzarella cheese.....but it was surprisingly good. Very heavy slice ....... If you order one of those, you're probably not going to need a second slice. Margarita slice was really good as well.....a lot more basic than they everything chicken slice, but that's the whole point. The crust was crispy and had a really good chew. I'll be returning for sure. Looking forward to trying the "Thanksgiving slice" they make around the holidays. read more

The place is small and bright inside. The food is really good. I got a fresh peaches and prosciutto slice that was so yummy. The grandma it was exactly how a grandma should be. Thanksgiving slice lived up to the hype! Went yesterday for the first time. Had a Thanksgiving slice there. Was better then expected. Crust had a nice crunch to it, perfect amount of turkey, stuffing and cranberry and the cheese worked well. Brought another slice home as well as a chicken parm hero. That was delicious as well. First I went on line to order and it let me start and finish my order. When I went to pay, it said no orders being taken??? I did it twice on two different devices on Saturday March 10. My girlfriend wanted their chicken soup so I called. They took my order for the soup and a regular pie which were both just coming out when I got there. Best Margarita Slice in region. Best Margarita Slice in class rating. Super clean and neat Great service Highly recommend. First off, i consider myself a tough pizza grader and usually judge a place on their regular slice. So this is a little unusual. Also, I rate pizza within their peer class in several categories; There is the premium pizza class (usually some top tier artisan hand made coal or wood fired masterpiece), Then there is the middle weight class (these are the good middle of the road pizza places that can range from excellent to poor), Then finally, "Pizza as a food class" . This is mostly the fast food pizza class. This class can range from tasty pizza to hot cheese and dough in a take out box. Pino's gets a 5 in the upper echelon of the middle weight class edging into the premium class. That is a tough crowd to compete in and Pino's is there for several reasons. I stumbled into Pino's last week with out checking yelp first. That is usually not a good idea. Boy was i lucky! First impressions: Neat, clean, crisp, safe, efficient! Clean white subway tiles line the walls with wood grain floor tiles. There is a nice cartoon style mural painting of one of the owners making pizza. Thats cool and really personalizes the business and gives the appearance of pride in ownership. The counter top is somewhat L shaped with pizza on display through spotless glass. The display includes pizza, specialty slices, and the usual pizza hand food additions like rolls and knots. When i approached the counter there were 4 or 5 people working behind an efficient and neat work area. Im not sure but i got the sense that this is a family run business by the way that they were interacting. I was having trouble making a decision and i just blurted out "which one of you make the best pizza?" It seemed everyone responded "i do, i do" One young lady said something like, "would you like a suggestion? Try the margarita slice, i make that, its the best" or something like that. I said, "Done! Make it 2 to go!" I usually go with a regular slice to judge a place, but i went with her recommendation instead. Boy, was i lucky i listened to the recommendation. What a fantastic speciality slice. I have to give it a top rating, best Margarita slice in the region! The Margarita slice itself: the crust was clearly shop made from a unique proprietary dough. The crust was the right thickness, golden brown, with just the right amount of bottom char and crispiness. There is a hint of high quality olive oil in the follow. Authentic NY Style! The sauce was alive, chunky and flavorful with the right subtle hints of garlic and basil. The cheese perfectly distributed and properly proportioned through the whole slice landscape. The cheese itself seemed to be a fresh whole milk or partially skim high quality mozzarella. The consistency of the melted cheese has the right "tooth" and was "al dente" without excessive oil run off. The slice itself, or crust, maintained the right amount crisp from tip to end to support and complement the topping. Thats not easy! Bravo Pino's! I will return. Highly recommend! read more

I've tried this place about 4 to 5 times a month apart no improvement. The pizzas look delicious but have a very bland. Tasteless taste can't explain. Got 5 slices and they are all delish. I think they have really great sauce and dough. It's light and airy and the sauce is very robust tomato but with great seasoning. I feel like we don't have good pizza places in this area so I was excited to try this place out but honestly I was a little disappointed. We got the ravioli vodka pie, garlic knots, eggplant roll and a calzone. They def were not skimpy on the ravioli but they were on the vodka sauce. The pizza lacked flavor, idk if the sauce itself was just mediocre or there just wasn't enough of it to really taste it but it wasn't that good. The garlic knots were also not garlicky at all and the eggplant roll was pretty bland and the eggplant to dough ratio was way off-way too doughy! Heard about this new pizza place via the local papers, and finally decided to check it out. Tale of the new tape: Garlic Knots Medium-large in size, they have a light texture with a medium chew factor. Most importantly they have a decent garlic flavor, enough for me to consider them good enough to buy again. Are they the best knots I've had? No. Why? I like garlic - a lot of it, enough to make your taste buds stand up and salute in culinary appreciation! Put simply, I like the garlic quotient high, to the extent that when you bite the knot, the knot BITES BACK! Ravioli Vodka Slice Had lots of bite-sized cheese ravioli (1" square, yes I did get out a ruler and measure one) covering the entire surface of the slice. As such, you get at least 1.5 raviolis in each bite! The crust is thin and gives a good light crispy crunch when warmed up something proper. There's just the right amount of vodka sauce to satisfy, but not necessarily enough for me to determine if it's good sauce or not. However, it's good enough to intrigue me into getting an order of their Penne a la Vodka dinner entrée at a later date. Buffalo Chicken slice Diced buffalo chicken cutlet covers the entire surface area of the slice, so you get chicken in every bite! There's just the right amount of savory buffalo sauce, with a medium peppery undertaste that is enough to satisfy. This is a good buffalo slice, folks . . . Grilled Chicken Caesar slice The entire surface area of the slice is covered with finely chopped lettuce, mixed with just enough dressing, and covered with parmesan cheese. There is enough chicken for one to acknowledge that it's there, but perhaps not as much as one would wish . . . The dressing, to my tastes, would be better served if it were a bit more vinegary in nature, which in turn would kick up the flavor a notch on this salad slice. Would I get it again despite? Perhaps. Note: all of the slices in the display case are very large - instead of 1/8 of a pie, they are 1/6 of a pie - which makes the $4 price for all specialty slices actually worth it . . . Penne alla Vodka Lunch Special The portion size is great for the price, which is well under $10. The takeout tin was full to the top, and the portion comes with a very interesting large dinner roll. The sauce is more on the tangy side, and not so creamy as is the character of a good vodka sauce. Essentially it leaves you wanting more flavor, and a notch up on the cream factor. Rigatoni Bolognese Lunch Special Again, a great deal for the size of the lunch portion. Just like the lunch special above, it was filled to the top. There is plenty of tangy meat sauce in and amongst the rigatoni, which was my pasta of choice in this case. It was very good, and I would get this again. Also comes with an interesting dinner roll. Conclusion The staff is friendly and very helpful. I had to control myself, as I would have picked up about two or three more slices that looked intriguing to me . . . ! One aspect of all slices were that their toppings literally cover the entire top surface of each slice. For example, the cutlet(s) covering the buffalo chicken slice are diced into 1/4" cubes. I told the owner I liked that, and he said that's so you don't have the toppings fall off as you eat the slice, besides also getting the topping(s) in every bite. I LIKE that culinary approach to pizza, and I will return for more of their culinary fare! read more

These pies come out fast and smokin hot, which is a sign they have a good oven. The girl helping serve our party was accommodating and very friendly with the kids. The girl who took our order couldn't understand 2.5 pies regular and 1.5 pies pepperoni (4 total pies). That was the only complaint so we made it easier and just did 2 regular pies and 2 roni pies (we had a bunch of leftover roni pizza). Once the food arrived, I realized they forgot the penne a la vodka which is always aggravating. I was refunded by the delivery service so I let it go. The salad was a good size and pretty good, no complaints. The garlic knots though...... not sure what happened there but we threw them all out. Picks an already made regular marinara sauce chicken roll and just squirts hot sauce on it.
