Incredibly expensive if I'd have paid for it myself ($900!), but worth the 70,000 points I had to use on the Saturday night of East by Northwest (EXNW) for a Ball that ended at midnight. Shoutouts to the staff that made it an exceptional visit. Upon arrival, I was greeted so warmly by Jasvir who pulled out my luggage from the rideshare trunk and escorted me to the check-in desk. Kenton welcomed me very pleasantly and found a room for me for early check-in - a marvelous surprise since I had only expected to check-in at 4 pm or maybe even noon at the earliest. As I was trying to catch a conference panel shortly after arrival, I appreciated Kenton trying to expedite things as best he could. It was lovely having my luggage taken care of and to my delight, Jasvir was the one to deliver it at lunch time when I had a moment to stop by the room and call down to ask for it. My room was lovely and spacious, stocked with all the things I needed for my stay. I also appreciated being able to tip by a QR code link, and then being issued receipts. At check out, I was happy to see Jasvir again while leaving my luggage for temporary storage in the luggage room. Upon collecting it after the last event of the conference, I took Tarik up on his offer for a bottle of water (and one for my dear friend), which was a lovely gesture and made me feel like a valued guest. He was excellent company while waiting for my rideshare, helped me identify the right vehicle, and lifted a very heavy suitcase into the trunk. Overall, had a really lovely experience that I hope to repeat.

I had a terrific experience at the JW Marriott Parq during my October trip. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was polite and helpful. I chose this hotel for its convenient location and on‑site restaurants (I've posted separate reviews for those), and it didn't disappoint. My room was spacious, cozy, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Vancouver.

This hotel is so clean and modern! Everyone who works here has been extremely accommodating and friendly! It feels like a home away from home. I have a comfy bed, well-stocked bathroom with soaps, lotion, and even mouthwash and qtips. Beautiful water view from my room. Walkable and safe downtown area. Close proximity to the airport. Comfortable meeting rooms with charging built into the desk. Healthy food served for our breakfast and lunch banquets. I even had a complimentary robe to wear and slippers that fit my size 8 women's shoes! What an outstanding experience! So glad I visited and signed up for the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program!

One of my favorite hotels in Vancouver BC, Parq Vancouver is adjacent to BC Place, and Rogers Arena. JW Marriott Parq Vancouver shares its location with Parq Casino, and The Douglas (an Autograph Collection Hotel) in one of the most beautiful building in British Columbia designed by ACDF Architecture and Architecture49, it opened its doors September 2017. Typical JW Marriott, rooms are modern, functional, and comfortable, basic rooms are larger most hotels in the area, neutral colors, abundant use of grey and wood tones, Molton Brown toiletries, Frette robes and slippers, Illy coffee, and Taylors of Harrogate tea. One of the few hotels that still has a lounge open post-pandemic, full complimentary breakfast and evening social. There are many dining options, 3 bars and 5 restaurants, and 24/7 room service. Though the hotel has a nice gym and spa, it lacks a swimming pool. Additionally valet parking is available with in and out privileges, and the staff is very efficient, there is also a self-parking option. The hotel still feels as fresh as when it was inaugurated, the staff is phenomenal, and a pleasant place to stay for work or pleasure. Happy Travels.

Wow, what an experience. We came to Vancouver to see Taylor swift and boy did this hotel go above and beyond to make the weekend special! First off, service was INCREDIBLE! The hotel was prepared for this event and everything was super organized - from check in, to our bags being in our room, to special Swiftie "events" in the hotel. Our room was clean and modern - the property is extremely well kept. The location is so convenient - adjacent to BC Place and in walking distance to major parts of the city. The hotel offered a ton for Swifties- free breakfast grab and go items, free late night snacks post concert, and a bracelet making station. They had multiple photo moments set up and played Taylor Swift songs constantly. Their restaurant downstairs (Honey Salt) had great food and incredible espresso martinis! The hotel made this trip so magical and seamless.

This lace is amazing from the world class staff, the clean and well layout design and atmosphere. The pricing was reasonable and everything we had was delicious. If you're trying to spoil yourself and aren't afraid to drop a few dollars, I highly recommend checking the place out. With the casino attached and one of the nicest restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of visiting you won't be disappointed. There's so much more in the area as well.

I recently spent two nights at this fantastic hotel. It was beautiful. It was sparkling. The service was incredible. I especially wanted to call out. Kudos to Yuki in the spa. I had a pre-birthday facial and it was the best facial I've had in many years. She really knows what she's doing. She went above and beyond, and even gave me a number of samples, a happy birthday, chocolate bar. That made my day very special!

This is considered a luxury hotel, but definitely feels like it. The hotel staff is exremely polite and remembered our names when greeting us ondifferent occassions. We booked the hotel through AE and was greeted with a welcome chocolate. Within the room, it was very clean and came with hotel slippers and robes. The shampoo/conditioner/lotion were all great smelling and did not dry out your skin like some hotel products do. There happened to be a conference there on one of the days we were staying and the staff maneuvered everyone very efficiently despite how busy it was and when everyone was leaving at the same time. The hotel is in a prime location where you can walk out and connect to a walking trail. It is not too far away from getting to food and desirable destinations. Additionally, within the hotel, was THE BEST gym I have ever seen. On top of having almost every equipment immaginable, it also overlooked the city. Downstairs is Honey Salt which is also a great eatery and right next door was gelato. Connected to the hotel is a Casino if you want to gamble. The only downside I had was their coffee maker was kind of janky and we lost multiple coffee pods because it was not turning on and dislodging the pods; but we called and got more pods very quickly. Overall, fantastic experience!

The JW Marriott was a fantastic hotel. We stayed during Christmas holiday 2023. We booked a king guestroom, but we were upgraded to a one bedroom king suite with a water view a week prior to our arrival. Check in was quick by Hubet. We were given a room on the 9th floor. The room was at the end of a hallway. As you entered the room, it went into a living room with sofa, tv and table. The windows were floor to ceiling and gave a good view of both BC Place and the water. The bedroom had a great water view and a king bed. But, my wife still would've preferred a higher floor for a better view. The bathroom was large and had a bathtub, and a walk in shower that included a handshower. Molton Brown products were provided in the bathroom. The room was large with 600 sq. ft. This hotel has an executive lounge for platinum elite members and above, and also for customers who pay for entry. This was one of the nicest executive lounges that I've been to. It is open from 6AM until 10 PM. Breakfast is served in the morning. They served scrambled eggs, potatoes, and either pancakes or waffles for breakfast. In addition, they also had fresh fruit, smoked salmon, various juices, including an orange juicing machine. Hors d'oeuvres are served every night with something different served every night. The JW lounge did not go cheap like many of the Marriott M-Clubs who only serve egg rolls and samosas. They had a different chef every night cook a main dish. They served dishes like fried rice, oxtail stew, and chicken. Along with these dishes, they also had salad, soup, and desserts. The food was so good that I didn't have to go out very much, except for lunchtime, and when I wanted to pig out and visit a restaurant even when I wasn't hungry. Their gym, spa and pool are located on one of the upper floors. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms that I have seen. The equipment was newer. They had cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights. Cleaning wipes and towels are provided. The pool was outdoors, but, it was way too cold for me to use it. Housekeeping staff worked like ninjas. They do not push around a traditional housekeeping cart. Instead, the ones I saw had a small suitcase on wheels. They used to stairs to get from floor to floor instead of the elevators. They were very efficient! They have a nice serene park located on the 6th floor. The Park Vancouver Casino and the Douglas Hotel is located in the same building. With the BC Place next door, you might see the visiting hockey team and referees at the hotel. This was a great property for us to stay at. We definitely felt the luxury of staying at a JW. If we went to Vancouver again, we would definitely consider staying at this JW Marriott again.

This review is only for their Executive Lounge where I was given the opportunity to have breakfast there while working that morning for the hotel. Definitely a "wow" factor as most hotel lounges that I have experienced are at a full service hotel. Presentation of the buffet area was lovely with the highlight being the fresh squeezed automated orange juicer that squeezed whole oranges into the glass you place at the end of the spout. The Lounge has two separate areas with the buffet area in the middle. Lounge areas are spacious and nicely furnished.

Great location and very walkable to Robson st. Amazing hotel and super friendly staff. Views are really nice and spa is very upscale. Casino is next door which is a good or bad thing depending if you gamble.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to for a conference! I'm sure we got a good rate for the room. Where do I start? I'm typing this review from the comfy bed. The pillows are perfect! I want to take them home with me! There are full size wash products in the marble washroom! And they all smell so good (makes me regret not budgeting enough to be able to enjoy the spa services). The coffee--yum! Creamy and delicious Illy coffee in sturdy ceramic cups. All staff we interacted with were courteous, professional, and helpful! My housekeeper thanked me for staying at the hotel, and housekeeping was immaculate. The conference floor was great! The huge windows and open spaces were perfect. All the food was amazing. All the staff were exceptional. Maybe this says more about the usual types of places I go to! Lol. I am extremely pleased with my four night stay in this hotel. I didn't get to check out the casino but it looked nice, too. When I return to Vancouver, I will definitely consider staying here again.

A one-bedroom signature suite at L'Hermitage was significantly less than a regular room at the Pan Pacific and the Rosewood so I booked 3 nights ($625CAD/night). I got off the Silver Moon at 9:45am, handed my luggage off to a representative from Luggage Forward, and walked from the cruise terminal up to the hotel. My room wasn't ready, so I dropped off my carry-on and backpack and went shopping and to have lunch. I was still on my way to CF Pacific Centre when the front desk called, informing me my room was ready. I told them I'd return after lunch. Wow, I loved my room (707)! As you entered through a short hallway, you found yourself looking at a full kitchen to your right, bathroom to your left and then the bedroom, past a closet housing a stack washer/dryer. The living room was bright and airy because there were walls of glass. Past the kitchen was a den with a desk and sofa. Off the living room was a small lanai overlooking the pool. The kitchen featured a gas range, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It was like a timeshare unit, not a hotel room, as there was tableware, glassware, etc. The only nitpick was the bathroom; it didn't quite measure up to the rest of the unit. It was small, with a full-sized glass-enclosed tub, a Toto (but without the washlet) toilet, and a small vanity and shelf unit opposite the vanity. It was totally functional, but I wished the tub had a shower wand, not just the rain head. If I could, I'd want this room moved to Hawaii to become my residence.
