This is one of the best Residence Inn I have stayed at. I feel like usually Residence Inn are not really upgraded and modern but this one felt like it had just gone under a renovation and each of the rooms were extremely large. I also love the fact that they have a small kitchen which makes staying the hotel stay even better as you can store leftovers and what nots. The location is also fantastic as it is right next to Davie Street where there are a lot of restaurants and markets. The breakfast was very okay, standard continental breakfast. I will say that the oranges are quite sweet and the waffles had a bit of a mochi texture to it which is kind of interesting. I wasn't a big fan of the eggs as they were extremely runny but its kind of interesting they put steak sauce over it, maybe its a Canada thing? Oh and the breakfast is complimentary might I add. Overall, honestly what a great stay in Vancouver especially given the room size, amenities, and cleanliness. I will definitely come back to stay here if I'm ever back in the city. read more

Good location, just wish I was informed about the construction beforehand. Emelda was great at check in, she gave me good tips and ensured I knew what was in the area. She was very friendly and helpful. I did not feel rushed, she took her time with me during the check in process. Room was spacious and I liked that I had my own kitchen. The hotel itself feels a little dated but I didn't spend much time in it aside from sleeping. Breakfast buffet was good, I liked the selections provided. Workers did a great job ensuring the buffet had plenty of options. Location was great, I was able to walk to the ferry to Granville Island to shopping at Lululemon. The area felt safe and was very clean. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully construction will be done the next time I visit! read more

Residence Inn Downtown Vancouver is right in the heart of it all. I checked in and was greeted by Won, who noticed it was busy and kindly stepped in to assist me. Within minutes, I was checked in and relaxing in my room. I loved how the whole arrival felt warm and personal, which is rare in a busy downtown hotel. The service here is truly top notch. Having an agent like Won really made my day. He helped me sort out a complicated billing and gift card situation and made the whole thing effortless. The rooms are great, some with balconies, and they have all the amenities you would expect. I especially appreciated having a small kitchen in my room so I could cook if I felt like staying in. The hotel also has a 24 hour gym, pool, and hot tub. The convenience of the location combined with thoughtful touches made the stay feel so much easier than typical downtown travel. Overall, the hotel was great and I will choose to stay here again. read more

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. One of the few places in downtown Vancouver that is of reasonable price, with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and a full breakfast included. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast absolutely incredible with sausage, eggs, all kinds of yogurt, toast, and a waffle maker. We stayed here for four nights in July. Here are some of the pros/cons: Pros: -Free breakfast - it's a decent breakfast. They have eggs everyday, usually some sort of a carb (potatoes, veggie hash, French toast), and a protein (throughout our four days, there was a different breakfast meat each day - Andouilles sausage, bacon, turkey sausage, and pork sausage patties). There's also a waffle maker, and your typical breakfast staples like oatmeal, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and muffins -Kitchenette with a full-sized fridge. We didn't use anything but the fridge and sink but having the option to use the kitchen was nice. There's also a breakfast bar you can sit at -Spacious with lots of areas to put your luggage or lay out your stuff -Located a short walk to Robson and Davies Streets, where there are lots of restaurants/shops -I believe they have a paid parking lot but if you want to save money, you can get away with paid street parking. It's free after 10 PM and before 9 AM and it wasn't too hard to find a spot -You need to swipe your key card to get into the building after 10 PM, and also have to swipe at all hours for the elevator, which added a layer of security -Check-out is at 11 but we were able to ask for a late checkout at 12 Cons: -They only clean the rooms every other day so since we were staying for four nights, our room was only cleaned once -Showers have some mold in the corners -There was a hair on the bed when we checked in so I just picked it off and pretended that didn't happen -If you're looking to explore Gastown/Chinatown/further Downtown area, it's probably about a half an hour walk. There aren't any train stations nearby so you would need to opt for the bus, which between waiting and riding, can take just as long as walking -Ice machines are only on the 6th and 15th floor -The toiletries do not smell great - reminded me of dishwasher detergent -Bath towels are really small They also have an indoor pool but we didn't even bother going because it looked super old in the pictures. Overall, the stay was okay. It was the most well-priced (but still expensive) for Downtown for that time of the year. But not sure I'd stay here again if I ever visit Vancouver again. read more

We stayed at the Residence Inn for two nights. It fit well with our plans to visit Vancouver. Surrounding area was walkable and the restaurants and shops in Yaletown close by. Within 30 minutes walk one could be at BC Place, Canada Place or Granville Island. Staff recognized the Titanium status and gave us an upgrade to a higher floor. Our room was quite spacious and was nice to come back and relax after our wanderings in Vancouver. The bathroom could have used a larger counter to accommodate all our stuff. We ended up using part of the island in the kitchenette to hold the rest. The other critique of the room layout was the location of the bed closest to the door. The hallway light seeped under the bottom of the door and was slightly annoying at bedtime. Breakfast was located on the second floor along with the pool and gym. Breakfast choices were quite standard with both hot and cold selections. It was nice that there also were almond and oat milk plus gluten free cereal and bread options. The gym was next to the pool with a mixture of dumbbells and adjustable weight benches, exercise mats and cardio equipment. However the gym's TV never worked. Overall security was mainly administered via scanning the room key to enter the parking garage and elevator. The mobile key option in the Bonvoy app was useful so no need to get physical cards if one chooses. One oddity was the need to scan the card key to exit the gym/pool. I can see restricting entry but why to leave? We would consider staying here again on a return trip to Vancouver. read more

Located in a very walkable area of downtown Vancouver we spent 4 nights here before a cruise, the hotel is very clean, the staff is very nice and attentive, secure garage parking on site. Didn't use the pool or spa since we had some many other things to do. Breakfast is included, the only downside was that for two of the days were were there they had this veggie crumble that was not very good. There is a large construction project going on across the street and the hotel is very well insulated, did not hear the workers hardly at all. Solid and comfortable hotel near downtown and Granville Island, I came here fairly soon after the border reopened to tourism. Service was friendly and helpful. The suite was very clean and I felt pretty safe here. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. The hallways are narrow, but I was fortunate that I didn't have noisy neighbors around. Parking is tiny in garage, but it's manageable. Breakfast was not too bad, but being the obnoxious American that I could be, I was expecting maple syrup and Canadian bacon, as opposed to generic regular syrup and generic American bacon. Just arrived at the Marriott Residence Inn in Vancouver and unfortunately had a very negative first impression. I was tired after traveling and had a few basic questions about check-in. Instead of being helpful or patient, the front desk staff interrupted me and snapped, "If you would just let me finish..."--completely uncalled for and rude. This hotel is in an area of town I don't usually stay in, but I was so happy to find it was so close to lots of restaurants/night life on Davie St. We ended up getting a great rate due to construction being done across the road, but this did not disturb us in the slightest. They were nice enough to let us park our car before checking in when we arrived in Vancouver a few hours early. Parking is expensive, but there is a lot underneath the hotel. In case you are curious like I was, it seems almost all hotels in Vancouver charge an absurd amount for parking. We stayed on the 3rd floor, no great view or anything, but our room came with a kitchenette and was pretty nice. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub area which was not overcrowded during our visit. They also offer an included hot breakfast which is so much better than places that just offer your standard continental. I was excited to find that on multiple mornings they had some kind of veggie burger/vegetable dish which I was able to confirm was vegan friendly. It was nice of them to provide soy sauce as well. However on one morning there was no suitable vegan option, but truthfully I never expect one. I'd definitely stay here again. I've mostly written this review to remind myself to consider this as an option for my next trip. I'm so excited it's less of a hassle to go to Canada again now. read more

Have not been up to Vancouver BC in many years , decided to take one of the kids for a long weekend. Always go to is Marriott so just found this one that was in the middle of downtown , lots of things to do in walking or short Uber ride away Usually able to get in a few hours early with status , but this one was busy , front desk treat was good and did call us about an hour before normal check in. Room had city view that wasn't the best but they all can't be. The room was very clean and could tell the staff took care of the place. Only two small things was the remote batteries were weak and had to be up on tv , Along with no body wash in the wall dispenser. But those are small items. Breakfast each morning was very good , lots of selection , even gluten free. Room temperate could be set east and the beds were clean and comfortable for three nights. We would recommend this location and will update as we go again and try another location. read more

When I was searching for hotels to stay in during my trip to Vancouver, it was Residence Inn by Marriott by far. There was no other choice! All the pricier hotels may give you nicer views and more facilities, but how important are they? Not only that, the pricier hotels charge for WiFi and the higher the speed, the higher the cost. Parking is more expensive, and breakfast is not complimentary or not even offered at all. Now what makes Residence Inn the best? Wifi is FREE, breakfast is complimentary, parking is a lot cheaper per day, secured, and easily accessible, the rooms are larger, and each room has a kitchenette! There's a large size refrigerator, a stove, microwave, dishwasher, pot and pans, plates, bowls, and utensils, and an electric kettle. And yes, coffee maker was there too, but the coffee was really bad. No problem, I can get all the coffee I need at breakfast! There's also an ironing board and iron, and hair dryer. The room is very spacious and very homey. It feels like a studio apartment than a hotel room. The location of this hotel is right in Downtown Vancouver and very convenient to many locations. Everything is within walking distance: BC Place, Rogers Arena, Pacific Centre, Robson Street, Granville Island, and more. The breakfast buffet is simple and the same everyday with scrambled eggs, egg whites, veggie patty stir fry, tortillas, pancakes, cereal bar, waffle maker, bread station, fruit and yogurts, coffee and tea station, and the only daily change was the breakfast meats. No Spam though! After a few days, you do get a little tired of eating the same things over and over again, but everything was good, fresh, well prepared. Good coffee and wide Bigelow tea selections. To go cups are also available! The dining was very nice and spacious. The staff working there are friendly and attentive. The amenities aren't much to talk about. The gym is small with mostly treadmills and ellipticals, a yoga area with mat and balance ball, and dumbbells. There's a pool and a hot tub, but it's really small and square shaped. The water was super cloudy and murky when I went to check it out. There's also a coin operated laundry room where you can wash your clothes clean before you go home! Other amenities include grocery shopping service where you can order food and they deliver it to your door, dry cleaning, ATM, car rental, and etc. Overall, this was a great stay and exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean, organized, and spacious. The whole staff were friendly and helpful, and just genuinely nice people. I highly recommend the Residence Inn in Vancouver because it does feel like a home away from home. The price, amenities, and complimentary items are unbeatable. Great hotel located in downtown Vancouver that is close to Granville Market/Island as well as tons of eateries and bars. Checking in was easy using the Marriott app and the receptionist gave us some recommendations for dinner our first night in. Parking is $29 per day and you have access to the parking garage under the hotel, though its confusing because it shares the garage with the Landis hotel, so be sure to follow the signs. Our room was spacious and provided everything one would need for a short or extended stay. I opted for a room with the view although the viewpoint was less than stellar. The bed also took a day or two to get used to as it was stiffer than my Casper mattress at home. Breakfast was included in our stay, they offered a good selection of breakfast staples. We used it as much as we could, enough not to spoil some of the breakfast spots we had planned for the trip. For the convenience if you're returning to the U.S or elsewhere that requires a negative COVID test, a pharmacy is a short walk away that does travel tests for a fee, I can't remember how much but 2 tests were over $100. Overall our stay was great and couldnt be more happier with the rest/relaxation it provided for our adventure in Vancouver. read more

Check in was ok nothing to rave about. Looking around the lobby and inspecting our room.. This is the most cleanliness Residence Inn we have stayed at by far! The rooms are very nice and modern. All it needs now is USB charge plug ins which was the only thing missing. Good thing we brought our own. Room service kept the already immaculate room clean and tidy. The excellent free breakfast buffet daily was always changed up, kept up, and plates and silverware were cleaned up for you when we were done. Adequate dining area, build your own waffles, variety of fruit, drinks, breads, deserts, scrambled eggs regular or whites, bacon, sausage, tortillas, etc.. everything you can think of almost for breakfast. Parking is under ground and gated but small and narrow parking so if you have a SUV like we did it is hard to park. The pool is small and rectangular with a nice spa, and very nice work out gym. The laundry room has three washers which is 2.50 and 4 dryers which is $2.00. You can ask the front desk for change. The lobby offers about four computers for internet use. If we ever come back to Vancouver this would be our hotel to stay at again! read more

This hotel is so awful that I checked out early after one night of a planned 6 night stay. There were a number of problems with both staff and the property. First, there was a large amount of hair on the toilet, and there was fecal matter on the lid. There were two holes in the bed sheet, and only two small pillows on the king size bed. Out of three elevators only one was operational. Guests had to form a line in the lobby to use the elevator, and it took over 30 minutes in the evening to get on the lift. The one that did work stopped at every floor automatically without even pushing a button. On top this, the room rate was about $500 a night, and they don't offer daily housekeeping service. read more

It's pretty centrally located near many restaurants and has its own parking garage, which is good to know when one has a car. As I have come to understand in my travels, in larger cities one can't always assume a garage is available for hotels, including large chains. What I come to expect from this chain is their signature suites. They offer a small living room, a kitchen that is quite functional, a decent-sized bathroom, and comfortable bed. This one came with a small balcony but as there was a lot of construction outdoors I didn't partake in it during my almost week stay here. Also, most likely due to the location, the room was much more compact than many other of their rooms at other locations. I can see the reason for wanting to save space, but I didn't feel that constricted by the lack of room. The place offers the standard complimentary breakfast, a business center, and workout room. I didn't look for a pool so I can't speak to that. It's pretty quiet with friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay here, that's for sure. read more

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of July. Our room was lovely, with very updated furnishings, carpeting, decor, etc. There were plenty of plugs for all our chargers. The little kitchenette was awesome and came with microwave, and even a dishwasher! It was also fully stocked with plates, cups, and other kitchen accessories. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. The waffle maker was a big hit, as well as the selection of fresh fruit. The hot plate items were not as well received. No one in my group liked the breakfast sausages they served, they described the taste as "not quite right"... Even though there were a lot of people at the breakfast each morning, the line never got too long and there was always plenty of seating. Plus, all the staff worked very hard to keep things clean and cleared off tables quickly. Much appreciated! I also liked the "business center" (really just a few computers and a printer in the lobby). We could look up directions and print them on the printer, which was really helpful as we were from out of the country, so we couldn't use our smartphones for directions like we were used to! The location was great for us too. We were able to take the Canada train straight from the airport to the hotel, and we only had to walk about .5 miles from the train stop. It was also right next to Davie street, with an abundance of restaurants and shops (we really recommend Banana Leaf and Sushi Maumi). we were also walking distance from Granville Island (well, you walk to the aqua bus) and from the Gaslamp district. The only downsides for us were the price (pretty expensive!) and some hiccups in checking in/registering our credit cards. For some reason they made us register TWO credit cards for one room and then ended up charging the credit card we did not want them to. We got it sorted out, but a bit of an annoying hassle. Also the noise of the elevator from our room was a little bothersome, but not horrible. read more

One of the better hotels I've stayed at, I've stayed here a few times now on my trips to Vancouver. Rooms are very clean and spacious. They're all studio-style rooms, so the kitchen is in one section of the room and the bed is in the other. With the skyline studio, you DO get a balcony (although not sure how much advantage can be taken of this during cold ass winter). Although the hotel exterior itself is a bit older, the rooms (and the lobby) are fairly new. Prices for the hotel are very reasonable, although I do have the advantage of the favorable U.S. currency exchange discount. With that said my prices were during the winter, so I imagine costs are a lot higher during the summer. Parking costs aren't too bad at CAD $24. Good location downtown, although with not the greatest view as both times I've been here my direct view has been of the construction across the street. Although not directly in the heart of the action, the hotel is walking distance to almost everything. Was able to walk to several places I wanted to visit. Even with Marriott membership, I wasn't able to get a late checkout on the basis of having said membership (unlike many other Marriotts I've been at). Disappointed in that. One of the downsides is that if you're looking for a taxi, the hotel doesn't have a line of taxis waiting for you. You're better off trying to flag a random taxi down. Overall, I've been pleased with my stays here thus far. Wouldn't have a problem coming back. read more

The rooms are nice, spacious, quiet. The hotel is located in a safe, clean area of downtown. Easy to walk to waterfront, a few mediocre (at best) restaurants and markets nearby. Reliable, fast internet. Though you do have a kitchenette, you don't have an oven (at other locations at this hotel chain, I had one). The problem is the service is just weird. Pretty much everyone at the front desk seemed confused all the time. The staff was technically polite, but there was an underlying hostility/annoyance, and questions weren't really answered very directly. You'd think I had asked the receptionist for her firstborn when asked where the restrooms were upon arrival. Oftentimes, the phone at the front desk went unanswered. The only time they answered it, it rang over 20 times (literally). We requested an early check-in when we booked. Called to confirm it, they said we were on the list. Arrived, and they had no idea we wanted an early check-in. Check-in was at 4 pm. We got a text message saying "congratulations", we could check-in early... at 3:57 pm. They didn't give us tickets for each piece of luggage stored, even after requested, they said it was "fine", so it felt like theft could be easily facilitated. Many people were waiting for their rooms to be ready, so it seems they could have a better system. You also can't access the free wi-fi until you have been checked-in. Once our room was ready, we had to go through the whole check-in process again for some reason... even though they had already seen our IDs and payment. The room was mostly clean... paper products were not new, which is not ideal with COVID around. Also, lots of crumbs leftover in the cabinet from the toaster. Gross. Speaking of COVID, elevators are tiny and there are generally tons of people packed into them. Most people did not wear masks. People kept trying to get in our room for a solid half hour at like 3 am one night. To their credit, staff did not let them in our room and explained to the weirdos that their room was on the floor above us. But it was loud and annoying and went on way too long. No one apologized to us. It's a solid hotel, but there were just these little things that were so off. Too expensive to be so Meh. read more

We landed very late and did not see the need to pay for an extra night at the more expensive hotel we were staying at the rest of the trip. The gentlemen working check in when we arrived was great. He was very nice and quite helpful. We both commented on how impressive it was when we got up to our room. Our room was nice and modern. It was average sized with decent views of the city. The bed was comfortable and we were happy to climb into it. The location is pretty good. It is not too far from the heart of the action downtown. You could easily get most places from here in a hurry, even by foot. This will be on our list of options for our next trip to Vancouver. The price point makes it an even better option. read more

This place was unreal. Lobby clean with tvs, fire place and cool decor. Friendly staff. Rooms were like mini apartments! Studio style room with Kitchen included. Large couch on the side with a balcony and tv! Although there was a huge bed, kitchen within the room. You can get parking at a reasonable price which is underground. Even with studio style apt kitchen, they still served free breakfast and it was a smorguz board of options. They had all types of eggs, sausages, veggies and even a waffle making station. Endless coffee and tea and other drinks and fresh fruit you could take with. There's a small bistro in the lobby for purchase of to go snacks as well. There is also a restaurant adjacent to the lobby where you can catch a late night meal or drink if you dont feel like venturing out. Located in downtown, lots of construction all around, walking distance to the water. Streets for restaurants, shops bars and clubs if you want a late night. I cant speak for the public transportation because we either walked everywhere, or used our car (we rented from airport). Ammenities were great. Had a gym, pool, hot tub, laundry and outdoor patio with fire pits. All clean and well kept, provided linen which was great. Less to carry. We met a lot of business people, and people who came for short education/conference sessions as well as families....all said that this was a great place for their individual purposes. Felt like Home away from Home. I would definitely stay here again! read more

Our first time in Canada (from USA) and we were super happy with our stay at this hotel...after we were able to actually get there! We must have circled the hotel four or five times before we finally could get to the front door. The area around the hotel was a maze of one way streets, no left turns, etc. Once we finally got there things got much better. Check in was easy but we ended up in a room with a squealing fridge. It was awful. Called the front desk and they moved us to a room down the hall. The complimentary breakfast was good and well stocked. Employees were friendly and helpful. Coffee never ran out. Location was great. Within walking distance to some good restaurants and shopping. A bakery next door was AMAZING. We went every day. (Breka Bakery). Parking was ample in their garage, but my F-150 barely fit under the ceiling, so if you drive anything larger you better find a different hotel. Rooms are a bit cozy. The bathroom has NO counter top space which was challenging, but typical for a downtown hotel. We will happily stay here again. read more

I've stayed at several other Residence Inn properties previously and have always been very satisfied; this property was equally satisfactory. Their downtown location is very convenient, and my room was clean, spacious and comfortable :-) The breakfast buffet not only has a nice selection of dishes, but there are four rooms with tables in them to choose from, so despite the fact that there were a number of other guests eating breakfast while I was there, I still felt relaxed and unrushed. My room was on a high floor facing the rear of the hotel, so it was possible to sleep with my window slightly open without experience undue noise. There's also reasonable parking right in the same building. Tip: On weekdays, you can catch an express bus (at a stop just a block from the hotel) to the University of British Columbia, where (if such things interest you) you can visit both the Nisei Gardens and the Museum of Anthropology. read more

Check in is a breeze and friendly. This room comes equipped with a kitchen, a small living room and even a office table. I'm amazed at how they are able to tastefully include all these in such a small room and made it feel spacious in under 450sqft. It comes with free breakfast which is decent but man it's so crowded. And some parts of my room were obviously overlooked like this dusty ass alarm clock right here. read more

Quite a few of us Seattle-ites were recently here for a few days to partake in the Rock 'N Roll half marathon and other events, and this hotel was perfect for our stay! It was a quick 10-minute walk to the waterfront, less than 15 minutes to the marathon starting line, and 5 minutes to all the major shopping streets downtown, and all the restaurants there. We parked our car upon arrival here and never used it once during our Vancouver stay, as everything was so walkable. (Note that parking is $19/day). The hotel and rooms were clean and had all the amenities one could want, but are very compact. I loved how there was a room safe, a kitchenette (with all needed appliances and cutlery and plates, too!) and excellent shower. Loved the Paul Mitchell body lotions and shampoos, too! Our bed was firm and pillow, soft (bed was great for my kid but too firm for me. The pillow was too soft for my kid but perfect for me. Such is life!). The thermostat and heating worked great and was silent. The toilet made very funky sounds when flushed but it worked fine; that was the only "complaint" we had about the room. The breakfast spread was, hands down, the best of any hotel I'd been to: lots of fresh and healthy options (fruits, egg white omelets, yogurts, oatmeal), cereals, lots of topping choices, waffles and pancakes, lots of bread options and jams, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, tons of beverage choices.... We were all impressed with the breakfast choices. And there was ample room, too, for everyone to sit, with lots of tables and, in nicer weather, a lovely courtyard for dining. There's a small but nice bar area/bistro-like restaurant downstairs off the lobby where we had dinner one night, and I had drinks with a friend one day. The lobby is small but comfy with a large wall-mounted tv, fireplace, plush seating area, and also printers and compact work stations along the perimeter. Counter staff were friendly and our check-in and check-out was seamless and quick. And there was a small "marketplace" area by the front desk where you can purchase snacks or sundries if needed. All in all, I really can't think of a reason why one wouldn't want to stay here. I didn't check out the pool of work-out room but I heard they were clean and nice. We had a great time here and would definitely stay here again. read more

Hotels in Vancouver are pricy, even in shoulder season...but we snagged a great rate, $199 and combined with my platinum status scored us a beautiful skyline view. The rooms have a swank euro feel, crisp clean and fresh. The mini kitchen is thoughtfully appointed and the shower is a wonderful respite with extra hot water and a powerful punch of pressure. The parking, though tricky, tight and requiring two locked gate crossings, is reasonably priced. The location is a bit grittier than the more upscale Coal Harbor/Robson hotels, but I like that! Lots of hole in the wall bars and bodegas and eateries within a five minute jaunt. And it's very near Granville island. Yeah this place rocks. read more

This is easily the nicest Residence Inn I've ever stayed in. The location is close to public transit and the rooms are spacious. They even allow you to stream via your Netflix login on the TV! Breakfast is something different each morning, too. Very happy with my stay. read more

This place is seriously the best Residence Inn I have stayed in and I definitely have been to my fair share. A and I stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to Vancouver and both of us were really impressed at what we got for the price. We booked a Marriott Rewards rate into a Skyline Suite (I think their cheapest) and we ended up with a Studio-style suite with a kitchenette, living area and bathroom. The hotel looks new, or at least recently renovated and everything was in great condition. We also had a great view from the 15th floor of the city. Besides the room, I really loved the amenities of this hotel. The gym was beautiful and had new equipment. I wish it was a little bigger at least when it came to free weights but it was perfect for a hotel room. While we didn't use it, I could see the pool from the gym and it looked pretty nice and there also was a hot tub. The breakfast provided every morning surpassed my expectations and while the offerings didn't change much from day-to-day, there were numerous hot and cold options including a parfait bar and a waffle maker. The location was also really convenient to walk to the water taxi to Granville Island, the Canada Line if you are coming from the airport, Gastown and Yaletown. There are also lots of restaurants and bars around the hotel so if you don't want to go too far, you are set. While this place may not be as "sexy" or "unique" as a smaller hotel, I really think you could not go wrong staying here. read more
