JWB knowing that they all ready have a lot of bad press on how that treat minorities. Me and my wife are a victim as well. Want to share it with the city. We moved in two years ago needing a home they charged up double the deposit for a house we didn't want and trapped us in a two year lease with no option for a one year lease. Since we moved there it has been complaint after complaint against them. We have filed several complaints with the city of Jacksonsonville we have reached out to news and better business bureau. We are desperate we have broken appliances no smoke detectors because we have a roach infestation and mice that is unreal. We have roaches crawling out of our cloths and pantry and on our children. They have promised to get fixed because we have holes in our house that let this infestation in also they are coming out of the base boards of the house. It's insane. They keep giving run around management want return calls yet they raised our rent like six months ago. We have many emails and a lot of photos. We have bad plumbing and the owner and the property management company refuses to take us seriously. Our children our getting sick and our health is failing. We have been sick since we moved in know body should be forced to live like this. Jordan Wells

JWB recently purchased my apartment building. Unfortunately, there isn't one positive statement I can say. When it comes to my maintenance requests there is zero urgency. Our backyard grass is taller than my ankles, I have had a leak for over a week and we had carpenter ants. My leasing agent, Kyle Anderson, never returns my emails. In fact, I had to email him 4 times before he got back to me on the leak. He hasn't even acknowledged the yard issue. We did have someone come "fix" the leak last night but did a sorry job. I came home after work to find a gaping hole in my wall. They didn't take the time to plaster over the hole. Please see picture at the bottom for reference When I call the main office to speak to someone I always get the same response "someone will call you back." Does anyone ever call me back? No. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I'm hoping that in writing this review JWB will take a closer look at their staff and vendors and teach them quality assurance.

There's a home on the Northside that was hit with a car and the car entered the bedroom on early Saturday morning. Maintenance didn't come until late that afternoon to put up plywood. The property manager didn't reach until and hour ago even they've received many calls about the incident. When asked about fixing the house they offered no time frame and zero assistance for living arrangements.

After the first house i realized they were using the same pictures for different listings, which is very deceptive! The next two houses were so run down and looked nothing like the photos i just kept driving. The last and final house was ok but there was a group of teens outside squaring up to fight, very unsettling! Updated review as i misunderstood the remote working qualifications.

Got to my apartment, and it had never been cleaned. My windows do not lock properly, had to run my water for 2 days non stop, no screens or blinds on any window. My door has a huge gap in it, so the cockroaches that are in every apartment come through my door. Any maintenance request you put in, they put a bandaid on it and don't fix it properly. But then they will bill you because the problem isn't there. My newest neighbor just moved in with her kids... and her unit is already flooding from an existing problem they knew about from the previous tenants leaving the place. Now there is mold in the walls, and all of us are dealing with the headache... even though JWB gutted the apartment 2 months ago for flooding damage.

Not only was the host, Eric, extremely unprofessional, but he also violated our stay in multiple ways in our stay here. They booked another person midway through our reservation, double booking the unit, and gave a stranger access to the place while we were already staying there. Eric also asked for personal details and payment info outside of the approved methods. Not to mention, the internet went out, the place is run down, and the host shady.

You are basically renting a disgusting hotel room in an apartment building for Jacksonville area rental property pricing.!!! staff is useless, lazy, and basically incompetent. They don't even have an actual pan to cook on only a wok. Fully furnished is laughable maybe if you're referring to the inner city in one of the poorest communities in the world, then sure, these places are fully furbished. I booked the place on Airbnb. My family and I get there. And my kids were instantly horrified the place was horrific ceiling, stains, and mold all over. Unit which was completely updated much nicer and we were... until for some reason the circuit breaker from 1900 finally went out and they let us sit for five hours with no power knowing I have an almost 2-year-old and 10-year-old with us. It's starting to get dark, they tell us they're moving us to another rental across the street which is an entire city block down the street and although it is right above a VyStar, its also got downtown Jacksonville city finest roaming around at night. The parking area is not a safe place for women and children alone at night either. Basically all Erik the owner did coupon for a restaurant across the street, move us to 3 units, all exactly as crappy as the first, an inconvenience my entire family stay and trip for $30 gift card and $100 rebate for our troubles. Again, these issues our fault. Basically, the owner is an upscale slumlord. i paid $1700 for 3 weeks in a roach motel pff 8th street!!!! do yourself a favor and just stay in a hotel room a two star hotel room in the worst part of Jacksonville would be a luxury stay compared to Erics many listings on silver steeet management!!! at least in a hotel, you usually get a free breakfast, unlimited amount of clean towels, and at least a clean room. You will get none of those things in any of silver Street management properties. I can assure you, after my first interaction with Erik after having to go through Airbnb two different times to complain about the property to get a result, I was very aware of what kind of Shiesty operation I was dealing with and documented everything. I gave Erik and his team more than ample opportunity to make this right as I am in school full-time, work full-time and have two children. I didn't have the time to keep moving from Airbnb and to keep spending hours reporting this to get minimal results. Thankfully, I never have to interact with these people again, but to make sure that they don't make any more money off of an innocent, hardworking humans -- I can assure you I'm going to post everything I have on every website I'm able to that way people at least have a warning of what they're walking into with these welfare quality units. Even Ian, the property manager told me that the owner doesn't care literally about updating anything or fixing anything or the quality of anything he just cares about reviews. So here you go, Eric! Reviews with all of the pictures and emails you will get!!! If I wanted to stay in a dirty space with questionableneighbors in a dangerous vicinity, I could've gone to the red roof Inn or super eight in moncreif. You literally ruined my family and I's stay, not to mention our Thanksgiving. I hope you and the 10 other members of your team sleep well at night, knowing that you are charging these kinds of prices for this kind of service and establishment. Also, one more thing you all kept saying it was GEA's fault with the circuit breaker.... But I have a feeling JEA probably advised you to replace the circuit breaker from 1900..... Again, this is just another example of how you're charging top dollar for Living quarters that are probably comparable to those in Third World countries! PS if you do decide to stay in any of the SSM units for more than two days, be sure to bring your own towels, toilet paper, security systems, brooms, cleaning supplies, vacuum, and air filtration system. Possibly some lamps, too, because they keep the lighting low in the buildings in the units to hide all the scum and dirt and filth!

The most active and dedicated Real Estate Agent I've ever worked with! THANK YOU MARIO!…read more I have bought and sold several houses over the years and worked with dozens of Real Estate Agents along the way. I can say that - without a doubt - Mario has proven to be the most proactive, involved and effective agent of them all. Most agents simply passively post your property on MLS and wait for buyers to come along...NOT Mario. In my most recent property sale, I had my condo on the market for 6 months with another agent with only a few showings and minimal activity. I then stumbled onto Mario and switched to give him a try. Mario immediately took charge and came up with a plan. He went to the property, made a few key physical improvements, listed and marketed the property and within 3 weeks I had an offer and we closed shortly thereafter. Mario's communication, even over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, was superb and, since I was living across the country from the property during the sale, he served as my eyes and ears locally. He was the consummate professional in my absence through the whole selling process. I CANNOT recommend Mario and his "Navy-to-Navy Homes" team enough. I would ABSOLUTELY work with the company again in the future and will personally recommend them to my friends and family.

You would think a company that markets to veterans would treat them better, but look at their reviews for their rental management. Excessive fees, a rude property manager, & lies throughout the process to get you to sign a lease quickly, not to mention almost trying to keep my deposit before I was ever furnished a lease when I changed my mind just hours later due to her unprofessional manners. For your application process/screening they use a third party service called "Findigs". The program is hard to navigate, uses AI to verify forms that causes delays because it cannot read what you submit, & if you have pets, they want an invasive amount of information Including the vaccine records & pictures of the animal. You will spend $25 per pet application on top of your own fee as well as a $300 pet fee & $150 for each subsequent. Bailey will ask for you to make your security deposit on the property in order to receive the lease. Refuse to make a deposit until you see the lease first & read it thoroughly so they do not try to take your deposit. Regardless of what they say, they cannot just take your security deposit if you do not agree to the lease. Its actually illegal. You are allowed to refuse a lease, it is not your fault if they take the property off the market before you sign a lease & lose applicants. They should know better that it is not a done deal until you sign, if they lose other applicants due to their lack of communication & professionalism, its on them. Educate yourself before signing anything, and find a different person to manage your property. You'll have better chances of finding applicants.
