So we decided to contact her via email and use her professional knowledge in our hunt. Kim was absolutely fantastic. We were so lucky we chose her. Not only does she have a wide breadth of knowledge about Maui geography, beaches, weather, winds, housing and all the other things you need to consider when buying a property, she could also recommend someone for everything you might need. Our building inspector, contractor, property manager, etc, all came from Kim, plus she can help you out with doctors, dentists, hairdressers, you name it she has it covered. You don't need Google, just use Koogle! We looked at a number of stunning properties over 3 days with Kim. She was very intuitive in finding exactly what we wanted. Once we found the Maui house of our dreams Kim immediately went into action and guided us through the process of purchasing a property on Maui, despite having to work with the seller's less than professional realtor, tenants in situ, my continuous emails and my husband's nit picking of the contract (he does this for a living). Kim was professional, friendly and our advocate throughout. Kim's husband sent online documents for signature which made the documentation a breeze, plus Rorie kept us updated with a timeline. They made a great team with Kim at the helm. Kim definitely went the extra mile for us, attending the final walk through with the building inspector to make sure repairs had been carried out by the seller as per our contract. She even personally measured the kitchen for me to see if our kitchen island would fit, and counted the interior stairs so I knew how many non-slip doggy carpet pads I would need! Her attention to detail and willingness to do anything for us (we are not resident in Maui yet so were buying from the Mainland) made everything so much easier.
