I brought my 2 year old golden retreiver here. I dropped him off at 1pm. At 530 I called to check on him and they had not started to trim him yet. They called me back and said he should be done by 630. We waited in parking lot till 650 then went in. He came out was not finished, the groomer said she didn't have enough time? 6 hours?? They never took him out to go to the bathroom. He was whimpering and urinated for several minutes. I am so very disappointed in this place. Not only was it a terrible grooming job, they had him for 6 hours!! Never again!! read more

I have to say I left this place a while ago. After the original owners left I stuck with this company thinking maybe the same service and high expectations would be there. Tara was great but some of the other staff had attitudes, at that time. After Tara left there was a third management team. Every time I would leave with my dog he would have bloody toenails. They would quick him every time, AND not tell me! I told them that he was sensitive to his needs and that he didn't like his paws touched. I warned them about this and every time he would be quicked. A few times I would be called and he would still be a bit damp. After multiple visits the clerk/manager didn't even remember my name or the dogs name. (The other two owners did). The doggy cologne and bandanas were great, but even the bandanas seemed to stop after a while. I had to ask the last few times I visited. Hopefully someone else would take over and revamp this place! read more

I cannot say how wonderful this place treated not only my dog but me as well. I rescued a dog last Saturday, February 29th. He was transported from Alabama and smelled absolutely horrendous. I took a chance and started calling or showing up at places. I walked in to be greeted by the unofficial receptionist, A handsome little pug. She graciously accommodated my last minute appointment and agreed to groom him. The groomer Kathy did an amazing job and treated the little guy really well. The little guy is no longer stinky and I'm glad to post that we had a great experience. read more

Brought our pup here for a bath and nail clipping. The baths and clean and the shampoo and conditioner are at the ready. There are even steps for a large pup to get in the tub. We also got a nail clipping, which Jen did a great job. Will be returning. read more

I recently had my dog groomed here and when i arrived with my dog the owner was not there just the groomer and her son. The groomer kept yelling at her son while he ran around in circles getting into things, i thought to myself on my god i am afraid to leave my dog with her, will i has right when i returned to pick him up she shaved his belly, cut his hair on the sides too short. i guess she had one eye on my dog while grooming and the other eye watching her son. The last owner was great but moved to florida. i am never going back to this place. It my be convenient with a nice self serve bath thats about it. My dog is 14 years old with arthritis i felt really bad about taking him to this place for a grooming. Just how can one perform a service and babysit your child at the same time. K9 corner is now under new management and the change has been very positive. The new staff is professional and courteous. You can bathe your dog yourself...all needed supplies (shampoo, towels, etc) are provided...or you can make an appointment to have your dogs groomed. I bathe our six (!) dogs myself and love it! It is much easier and more convenient than doing it at home.The tubs are at a good height so you don't get back pain from bending over. There are days when I bring all six dogs, one after the other, and they are more than accommodating. They will also clip your dog's nails, if you like. Might be a small fee for the nail clipping...I'm not sure as I do our dogs' nails myself. All the mess stays there. I find the pricing to be reasonable and the staff to be helpful and friendly. read more

Please note that the business has changed hands several times over the years. Older, negative reviews refer to the *previous* owners Things have changed for the positive! The current owners are conscientious and committed to providing good service. The facility is well-kept and clean. Prices are very reasonable, and the convenience is great. Operating hours have recently been extended, which gives them another thumbs up. I have always groomed my own dogs but with long-haired double-coated dogs, bathing requires a dryer in all but the warmest weather. I am thrilled to have a local do-it-yourself doggy wash where I can use a professional grooming tub that is off the floor, which saves my middle-aged back. The staff always offers help with getting the dog in the tub, is available if one has trouble adjusting the temperature of the water, and always ask if my dogs need their nails done. (Again, I do this myself-but not everyone is willing to do pedicures.) A towel, water-proof apron and nice brush are provided for use. I bring some of my own grooming tools and an extra towel to complete the job while I am there. However, most people will not need anything additional. read more

I have a four year old five pound Toy Yorkshire Territory. I get him a hair cut every couple months or so. Im picky about how I like his head cut. The woman is awesome. She does it exactly how I ask each time. On day I was forty-five minutes late and she called me woke me up and still let me bring my dog in. I'm very allergic to being inside the place but I have never felt it wasn't cool enough for my dog to be there. I'm an extreme pain in the ass to please and I fully endorse this place for grooming. read more

I have to say I heard some really bad things about this place but I happy to say they have new ownership. The new owners are very professional and I'm always greeted with a smile. I have a Samoyed and have tried groomers all over Whitman and East Bridgewater and the service was horrible to say the least. When I heard k9 Corner had new owners, I thought I would give it a shot. Well 3 months later I'm still happy and the level of grooming has been excellent. I recommend them 100%! read more

this place is great! its so convenient, right on rt 18 in whitman. the lady there is super nice. the self serve bath is awesome and my dog loves it. the tub is very easy for him to get into and theres a leash for him to hook on to, but its easy for him to move around. they stand on a grate and the water drains out so theyre not sitting in a bunch of dirty water. the sprayer is high powered and the shampoo comes out with the water, and they have other shampoos in the tub that you are welcome to use along with a brush/massager. once youre done shampooing just flip the switch to plain water and youre done! they give you nice big towels for your pup and an apron for you while u wash them. and theres even an industrial strength hairdryer which makes drying time much faster. and doggie cologne after theyre dry! and a huge bonus: the nail trims are only $7 and she does a good job filing them down after. read more
