This was our first experience going to Weronika and was a grooming emergency. Our dog had gotten a…read moredeer tick bite and his fur was much too thick to see if he had more ticks on him or if the original bite had the telltale Lyme disease rash. I called and left a message for Weronika and she squeezed us in after hours. I didn't know what to expect when we got into her grooming salon/camper, but Weronika soon put us and our little dog at ease. (His breed is not normally clippered, but we needed to see him without his coat on). She shaved him down and I thought we were done, but no - she then gave him a flea and tick bath, dried him and used thinning shears to make sure that there were no razor marks. She even brushed his teeth, getting him to behave when I haven't had any luck at all! All the while she was talking to Odo and giving him kisses on his beady little head. She also let me know that she has a soft spot for rescues and we talked about all the rescue dogs she sees. She could not have been kinder or gentler to Odo (or us). Even though she had pressing family business, she treated Odo as if she had all the time in the world. I discovered that the only way to get an appointment is if you leave a message on her phone and she'll call you back when she is done with the dog that she was grooming when you called. Don't leave a message and you'll never get an appointment with this busy, friendly lady. Her grooming salon comes to you - we happened to go to her just this once. I can't recommend Weronika highly enough, and am now delighted that we now have a trusted person to take care of our dog. It's very rare to meet such a nice person who is also so very good at her job. 100% terrific. UPDATE: We're still having Weronika groom our dog, and we still love her. She now has clients email her to get an appointment on her wildly busy schedule, but she answers promptly and as long as it isn't the holiday season you can get an appointment fairly quickly. Even if you have to wait, she still is as loving and wonderful as ever. Our dog, who LOATHES bathing, toenail cutting, and all grooming related activities, loves Weronika, and is overjoyed when he sees her. To me, that's the best way to judge a groomer. 10/12/15

Well, the groomer showed up about 3 hours late and I was stuck at home waiting for them. When it was all over, what would have normally cost me $75-$100 turned out to be a shocking $230 bill. I was speechless. Never in my life had I paid that much for a dog grooming. My dog was already in pretty good shape - she was not matted and the grooming took no more than 2 hours. I also found that my doggies' butthole was cut by their clipper. This was not a good experience and i will never use them again.

Our previous dog walker had moved out of state. I felt terrible asking these new people to take care of a dog who wouldn't be with us for very long, but they insisted they were OK with it and would never leave me without care (even though we'd just met!) They were incredibly wonderful to my old girl during her last year of her life. I was always nervous to leave her with anyone. They took care of her as their own - both for walks and for weekends we were were away. A few months after our old girl passed, we adopted a new rescue puppy. That was 3 years ago and Prabin has been with us since. They take her when we are away and walk her daily in between. THey were on "stand-by" when our daughter was born last summer and helped tremedously in making the transition a smooth one. Prabin (and the others) are extremely reliable, personable, caring, responsible, HONEST, trustworthy and most importantly - AMAZING with our dog.
