He took full ownership of the situation and never tried to cover anything up or make excuses. He sent out his most experienced technicians to thoroughly go over the system and determine whether there was an issue that had been missed over the years or whether the unit ultimately needed to be replaced. They were finally able to determine that the AC had been installed incorrectly. While I'm certainly not thrilled that an improper installation wasn't identified during the multiple service calls we've had over the years, I do want to give credit where credit is due. Once Peter and his team became involved, they were extremely solution-focused and committed to getting to the bottom of the problem. I also learned that Peter was not the owner when I originally purchased the AC, which makes me even more appreciative that he stepped up and took responsibility for an issue that technically predated his ownership. He assured me that, one way or another, we would get the situation resolved, and I respect that. One thing that really stood out to me throughout this process was how highly each of the technicians spoke of one another. Every gentleman I interacted with this week had nothing but positive things to say about the rest of the team. It was very obvious that they have each other's backs and are all working toward the same goal. At the end of the day, I'm still disappointed that it took this long and this many service calls to uncover the installation issue. However, I believe in giving credit where it's due, and Peter and his team deserve recognition for how they handled things once they became aware of the problem. Their communication, willingness to investigate, and focus on finding a solution made a significant difference. ***************************** We have had ongoing issues with our AC system since purchasing a new unit from this company five years ago. From the beginning, the system has struggled to keep up and has consistently run nearly 24/7. After having the team come out multiple times to troubleshoot the issue, I ultimately had to have the system and other aspects of my home thoroughly evaluated. I was eventually informed that the AC unit installed was improperly sized and too small for our home. This has resulted in years of frustration, along with thousands of dollars in additional utility costs and service fees trying to diagnose and address the problem. I'm extremely disappointed that a new system was installed incorrectly in the first place and that it took multiple service calls and significant expense to determine the root cause.

To get this warranty the REME Halo-LED has to be installed by a licensed contractor. I feel very fortunate to have won this air purifier system for my new house because the regular installation price would have been over a thousand dollars. Kreitz played that game right to the letter. What's actually occurring is (according to three trusted sources) that your A/C got low on freon, this causes water to condense and freeze. When the freon is fixed, the ice melts, which causes a little rust, and it's all perfectly harmless. He also needed a week to replace my furnace (it was 40 years old). I looked up his business address on Google Maps/Street View (try it). I tried repeatedly for four days to speak to someone about cancelling my appointment but could never get anyone to answer the phone. Worst of all, the old man's son was tagging along, so he's being taught this scheme. If we hadn't had to wait so long, or if he would have just loaned us a small space heater to get us through the cold nights, we might have had Kreitz do the job. Instead, I went to Home Depot to buy a heater. While I was there, a contractor happened to ask me as I was walking by, "Would you like a quote on a furnace?" Instead of a one-man home-based operation, I dealt with a large professional state-wide organization. The whole thing was over in less than 48 hours and on a Saturday. I paid more there. But the fact is I need reliable, long-term support and satisfaction for decades to come, not a lowball price. And a reliable furnace. And they gave me a very nice Nest thermostat.
