K and C Auto Transport LLC contacted me about shipping my car They said the time frame would be met at 10 am the next day...next day I stood in the rain to ensure the driver would use the correct driveway. The driver never showed and never contacted me. I called and ended up with nothing. After two pages I told K and C I am forfeiting my deposit and will not use them. The calls to me kept coming...the last call was filthy. The employee told me to F@#$ off. Everyone I talked to at this company had combined total education of a HS Sophmore...absolutely the worst so-called professional company if you call it that in my life. Not only did they charge us more than originally quoted, the car was delivered late (even though we paid extra for expedited service), when we called to ask about our car, they cussed at my husband, myself and the driver! I found this company through a 3rd party site. I was looking to have a disabled cargo trailer picked up in Tennessee. I explained the situation to the first individual that I spoke to, he said it was no problem and that it would be done that same day. I paid the $275 deposit and it was horrible from that point on. Long story short, 5 days and 3 drivers later, the job was not done. After numerous unanswered emails and phone calls, I asked for a refund of my $275 deposit. I was told no, that they still had to pay the drivers that never did pick up my trailer! This place is a scam! DO NOT USE THEM! I wish I would have read the reviews before I hired them. Mike The car shipping industry is a grimey industry full of sales sharks who will promise you the heavens and deliver nothing. This is exactly why you need a trustworthy, open and transparent agent/company that will work with you to help you understand how this industry functions, and thus, how to ship your vehicle for a price that's mutually beneficial. Let me tell you right now that K&C auto transport is NOT your answer. Unfortunately I fell victim to the grimey tactics and agreed to ship my vehicle from FL to NY with this company. The price was agreed and I stipulated I would only be conducting business with them if they are able to deliver the vehicle on a weekend (as I would drive down from Canada to collect it from NY and can't leave work during the week). This was agreed upon by Mike and he assured me my vehicle would be delivered the following weekend. He asked me to sign a contract that I am putting down a deposit of $250 and cannot ask for a refund if I choose to cancel. Lo and behold, my vehicle was not picked up and subsequently not delivered during the promised following weekend. While attempting to reach Mike, my calls were being screened and not answered, my emails were being avoided, and if I called from a different number I was told Mike is off sick. How convenient. To this frustration I began texting Mike that I want a refund as he did not deliver my vehicle in the agreed timeline and that I was being ignored as a customer who has already paid. To this, I was met with the threat that I will lose my deposit, and the worst part of it all? I was subjected to racist statements from Mike. After the text discussion for heated, I told Mike that I will be taking action against his company in whatever way I could, and that I would make him pay my deposit back even if it meant he would have to "pay through the nose" (a common saying, especially common in England, where I'm from) to which Mike replied "Is that a saying in Pakistan? Lol" Why? Because I look brown? Because I sound brown? In 2022, behaviour and customer service such as this is absolutely unacceptable. I am heart broken that companies as awful, racist and with straight up ill intent towards customers are still in operation today. I used a 3rd party website to obtain an auto shipping bid from multiple companies, including K&C who was the lowest bid by $150 and I selected them after decent communication with Allen. Shame on me for not doing more research. Unfortunately, I had to push shipping back twice as payment for the auto had not been delivered and Allen stated that it was no big deal, he was very understanding. They scheduled a different driver for the new date and he requested an additional deposit of $100, which I sent. The next day pickup was missed and they stated that it was pushed back a day. I was emailed a new invoice which was significantly more than the original, I was told that it was a mistake by Allen and to not worry about it. Auto arrives at my home and driver expects much larger COD amount than my contract and Allen doesn't answer his phone. Phil told me the fee changed and just pay the extra amount. Driver wants full amount or can't release the car. I managed to work it out with the shipping company but they vowed to never use K & C again. Allen claimed his phone died, but the truth is K&C will bait and switch you with low advertised pricing only to strong-arm you and shipper holds your vehicle hostage until the real amount is paid. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY LACK MORALS AND INTEGRITY. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before booking this company....I had the exact same experience as Greg D. in his review from 4/9/2022 unfortunately I didn't see his review until after. If I could give this company a negative 100 I would. I booked a car transport with K&C to deliver a car from Florida to Texas. They requested a $100 deposit with the remainder to be paid upon delivery to the driver. Simple enough right! WRONG -what they don't tell you is that they are simply a greedy dispatch company that takes your deposit and then farms the job out to whomever they can find and once they have someone booked to pick up your car K&C washes their hands of you. The first transporters that they apparently scheduled us with NEVER arrived and we waited around all day. When I emailed K&C to ask what happened they DIDNT KNOW...I asked for a number to speak with someone and finally received a telephone number for the infamous Kevin Cuesta. Except when I called the number Kevin was nowhere to be found and instead I had to speak to a very RUDE person named Phil. Phil proceeded to try to rebook my car transport. The new person he booked with arrived and said they could not transport the car because they didn't have the correct ramp. I call K&C back when I was told the new driver refused the vehicle. They then schedule a third pick up that actually happens. so after three times I finally think ok well if that's the worst fine. Except the nightmare hadn't even started. When the driver arrived with the vehicle, he then request payment in cash for a $100 more than what we negotiated with K&C. I politely explained to him that this is not the price we contracted for and I would be paying the other price. Understandably the driver was upset because K&C contracted with them for the higher price. When I called "Kevin" aka Phil on the phone to clarify the matter he said the driver was responsible for telling us the new price (even though he's the broker and negotiated with both of us separately) and said that if I don't pay them then I won't get the car. We informed both of them that we were not going to pay the difference for their miscommunication. Phil however refused to listen to anything we said...started calling me out of my name and even told me to "SHUT MY MOUTH" when I was trying to explain that he was in the wrong for not communicating to anyone the price differences. In the end both the driver and I will NEVER do business with this company again. and customers beware!! these guys are crooks! they are not the ones transporting the car and they are only trying to make a "dispatch fee" and leaving everyone else to sort out any price differences. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with K&C Auto Transport. We contracted K&C Auto to ship my daughter's car from North Carolina to Texas. Our car was scheduled to be picked up on the 5th of November and delivered Tuesday the 8th. The driver picked up our vehicle as scheduled on 11/05 in North Carolina, and got into a wreck the same day in Georgia in which our vehicle fell off the trailer onto its side. K&C Auto did not notify us that our vehicle was in an accident until we called on 11/08 to find out why it was not delivered. When we contacted K&C on the 8th, they sent an email of the driver's insurance and said our car was in an accident. The email did not give a date, time, or any information concerning the accident. I called and spoke to Philip, in which he proceeded to inform me that the driver was responsible and that they are just a dispatch service. He adamantly tried to distant K&C from any responsibility to rectify the situation. I was able to get out him, the location of my car in Georgia which was at Dean Brown Body Shop. I spoke with a kind gentleman named Kenny who let me know the date my car arrived, referred me to the Georgia State Patrol for an accident report, and took pictures of my damaged property. I contacted the driver's insurance company provided by K&C Auto to find out that their insurance policy was cancelled, and the driver was uninsured. I spoke to the driver, and he was still driving uninsured. We tried to get our deposit back from K&C Auto, and they stated that they will only refund a portion because they did provide a service by picking up my car. We have not received any refund, we have no current insurance information for a claim, and we contracted a different company to transport our car. There is a reason why they only have 1 Star... So I booked a transport with them. Have a contract showing $625. $125 deposit to them, $500 COD due to the driver at delivery. They lost the first driver booked so they got another. Never told me the COD price to the new driver was $650. Blamed it on the driver, their dispatcher, etc. Took no responsibility for the price change. Called them with the driver in front of me and verbally abused me. i had no choice but to pay the driver the additional funds. K&C Zelle'd me back $70 (like they were doing me a favor. Then I emailed them 2 hours later and got a phone call tell me I was a dumb f@ck and I don't know how logistics works. I literally was made to pay $200 to cancel my order within 2 hours of the order for their guy to tell me that I'm paying the amount for "wasting his time" on the phone as if he was the only person that I spoke with to get a quote on the job; none of the others charged me.
