It didn't have a price so I asked a second young lady, "How much?". She acted as though I was bothering her when she came over, looked at it, told me the price (without making any eye contact), and then went back behind the counter. That's when I noticed the first young lady, that was previously at the earrings, went behind the counter. The bell went off in my head, "oh she works here." It was at that moment, I said, "Let's go!" I realized they were both being rude and possibly didn't want "me" in the store. I was going to keep it to myself, but my friend said, "Wow she was rude." They must be raking in the bucks, so I'll spend my money somewhere else...and so will all my friends.

When I need a mood booster or when I am looking for a gift, I go there. It's kinda like that shop in the malls that was called Spencer's except this is his witty, sophisticated older sister who has the same family sense of humor, but classy. The owner and her staff are just the sweetest people and they genuinely love to see you come in whether you are coming in to take a look around or on a mission to get some retail therapy! This shop is PACKED with so many goodies that it's hard to see it all in one visit. They change the layout of the store quite often. Every time you go, I notice something new and I love that things are sold in limited quantities except for a few items and brands. Keeps things fresh. The owner likes to do her own retail therapy by shopping for the store and sometimes, she'll only buy a limited quantity and once that item is gone, it's gone! She also had an entire rack of clothes ready for me to try on as per my needs. She was very patient with me trying on clothes, took my opinions and critiques to heart, and came back with different selections based on that input. She was never pushy with me and even made a point to iterate that she did not want me to buy anything that I was not comfortable with. I left with several articles that day. She personally made an appointment for me at The Full Cup at La Promenade - another highly recommended boutique. The clothes that she has are of exceptional quality - something Mary prides herself on. I wear a pair of paints that I bought that day at least 2 or three times a week and they look fantastic.
