I give k&g roofing and general contracting LLC has zero they did a horrible job I doubt very much that they are even bonded or insured. And once you tell them there's issues they do not back up their work they'll do the very minimum they have to if not anything. Kyle and his crew have completed several projects for both my home personally as well as my previous business from roofing, siding and fencing as well as major indoor remodels. I have always been impressed with the professionalism of the employees as well as Kyle's regard for fair pricing, even when problems come up that are beyond his control due to original construction prior to his involvement. Kyle with K&G Contractors is hands down the best my wife and I have ever dealt with. We never do reviews but we felt the need to after how pretty our house turned out. Kyles suggestions made the exterior of our home look like something out of a magazine. We will be referring them to all our friends and family. The quality of work was second to none and the professionalism and courtesy of his workers was outstanding. If you're looking for windows doors siding or roofing call them you won't be disappointed. I used K&G to help with renovating a couple properties. Kyle and his team were quick and thorough with all of the work, plus I found them easy to work with. They were very good about getting materials and supplies ordered quickly (though sometimes supplier delays still came up) as well as consulting with me on certain design ideas, such as with the style of trim might work best given the style of home. Overall, I thought Kyle's pricing was fair but sometimes projects become bigger than you expected. When that happened he was good about helping me save where he could. Find someone else. Initial impression was great. I liked his workers but Kyle is a scammer. Over promises EVERYTHING. Does NOT take care of problems that need repairing after job is complete. Many times, he would just do something and not consult us--causing us to have to hire someone else to correct. If you dare bring up an issue about how you would preferred something IN YOUR OWN HOUSE, he will argue with you...then still not listen to you or honor your request. I hate that kind of crap in a business! It is MY f'ing house!!!! I am not sure what is going on within the world of home improvement or handy-man services, but I find it reeks of incompetence. What happened to excellence? Are people not interested in building legit & lasting companies anymore? What really angers me is...we paid his bill in full (and each installment on time) but he did not hold up his end. He should be embarrassed conducting business like this and messing with peoples lives and hard earned money. One thing he taught me was to be assertive with ANYONE I pay and hire and who will not listen to suggestions or honor my requests on how I want things done in my own home. read more

K&G Contractors fixed my bathroom, rewired my house (also added new outlets), installed new exterior doors, and a screen door with a doggie door in it. We also had them build our new deck. They do such a great job. When I have saved a little more, I will have them install new windows, update my kitchen, and do add on rooms. I will always call them for any service I need, because they do such a wonderful job. read more

Our initial impression of this company was good. We received a prompt and on the spot quote for our projects. The owner, Kyle was very personable and relatable. And with how many good reviews his company had, we really thought this could be a somewhat flawless operation. However, it didn't take long for the list absurdities to begin. The first few things we tried to give Kyle and his crew the benefit of the doubt but eventually we just could not wait to get them out of our house. The project was quoted to take less than 3 weeks. It ended up taking 11 weeks. They showed up on day 1 with all materials and asked where to store them. Being it was winter and we were told less than 3 weeks I assumed keeping it all in our garage wouldn't be an issue. Mind you, we were never told that storing all materials on/in our property was part of the deal. They ended up turning our garage into a shop without our permission making a complete mess of our garage and everything in it. And not just a little sawdust. They cut drywall inside our garage covering every surface, jeopardizing the value of our belongings including but not limited to our motorcycle. Kyle assured us nothing like this would happen again and all cutting should've been done outside. Then the main guy was cutting all the trim in our basement a week later, covering our basement in sawdust. The owner is a sweet talker and every person I've met who knows him personally has agreed. He is manipulative. Every time something got botched and he had to fix it or have his crew fix it, he tried making it out to be some big favor he was doing us for all the money he wasn't charging us.... FOR HIS MISTAKES! As the project went on he changed his agreements. I personally ended up doing a portion of the work. The drywall company he hires is a joke and unprofessional as well. And when I mentioned to him about a recent reviewer saying the same thing he was furious and claimed it wasn't a fair review because that's not his company. To which I needed to remind him that it certainly did reflect on him because he is the one who contracts this company out. After all the times he tried to play the victim with how much our project costed him out of pocket (remember, the extra costs were to fix things they screwed up) he then proceeded to tell me how he doesn't mind losing out on projects because he gets a tax break. So I'm led to believe that this project was all a scam so he could get a good tax return. His crew didn't use the provided floor mats and screwed up my wood floors. We had a toilet sitting in our living room for over a week. I was assured so many times that they wouldn't start any new contracts until ours was finished. Then a couple days when his crew didn't show up he said they were on their own personal side jobs. They had unlimited access to our house and garage during the 11 week project and we coincidentally have at least 2 power tools of ours missing that we know of right now. He claims that he has experience and that his main crew guy had over 20 years experience and we just can't believe that. Everything they did looked like something I could've watched on YouTube and figured out myself and to be honest it probably wouldn't have taken me much longer. This was a very expensive and stressful lesson for us to learn and has given us a really bad taste in our mouths for ever hiring any kind of contractor again. I will say, that if you choose to hire this company despite this and other bad reviews, make sure you can take a lot of time off of work to babysit Kyle and his crew because they need it. When ripping up the concrete floor in our basement Kyle took it upon himself to remove our floor drain which was at the low spot in our basement so any water issues in our basement always led to that drain. When we threatened to take him court over altering the foundation of our home without our consent, he said that's fine he'll just charge us for all the repairs he had to cover for all his crews screw ups! And said he'd just claim bankruptcy and start another new company (which would make K&g contractors his 2nd failed business) he then tried convincing me that by doing that, he actually saved us thousands of dollars because that drain was probably causing damage to the foundation. (I mean, maybe... but the house is almost 80 years old and no issues yet so I guess I call BS on that too) Oh and when doing our electric work, he was legally obligated to tell us that we are over our space for what we can safely have on our electrical box. But assured me he knew an electric company who could do the required work for about $10-14K.... little did he know I had a quote from a reputable electrician to do it for under $1,000. Kyle & the people he hires are untrustworthy. Kyle has an excuse for everything. He has no business running a contracting company. Every day we're reminded of our terrible mistake hiring this company & the disgusting excuse for professionalism. read more
