The personal contact was immediate, professional, respectful, and courteous. It was a small job yet I was treated with value and importance. Even though a serious thunderstorm forced them to delay the application of the concrete ( for obvious reasons), they made sure to get all the work done the next business day in order to respect the deadline. The work was exceptional, the workers were polite, professional and respectful and I could not have imagined the quality of work that they provided. I have several jobs in which I will need thier services in the future!! They have earned my admiration and my trust.

Mike first came to our house in…read moreMarch/April of 2023 to give us a quote, before he left from that visit, he had us sign what we thought was the estimate. As soon as he left, we had decided we were not going to use Mike because his quote was by far the most expensive of all of the ones we had received thus far. Turns out we had signed a contract to get our roof done with Green Built. We had no idea that this was what happened and were still getting quotes from other companies when Mike called and let us know that our house was on the schedule for the next day. We had not secured financing, picked out a shingle line, shingle color or anything else. We were completely blindsided. His crew arrived the next day to start work and at the end of the day, our roof still wasn't finished, which wasn't a problem, however, one of his employees showed up to try and sign the certificate of completion saying we were happy with job, before the job was even done. My husband and I proceeded to send him on his way and told him to actually wait until our roof was finished. We get home from work the next day to see the roof "finished" by their standards. There were nails and trash shoved down our gutter downspouts, nails everywhere in our yard and driveway, and most of our screens were ripped. We had asked them to be extra cautious about the nails because we have 2 kids and a golden retriever. They had damaged the spindles on our porch with the dump trailer, but those were fixed very quickly. In the summer of 2024, we realized that our entryway was getting really warm and didn't seem to be properly ventilating. It was at this point we realized they never installed the ridge vent on this portion of our roof. My husband called Mike to get this fixed, and it took over a month to finally get someone out to our house. This brings us to this year, March 15, 2026 and all the rain we got here in Michigan. One night during a rainstorm, we noticed there was a drip in our basement. Our roof is less than 3 years old and we have water coming in and damaging other parts of our house. We called Mike the day after to come and see what was going on. He has come up with every excuse under the sun as to how it cannot be our roof, deciding it was coming from our bathroom above where the water was found in our basement. This didn't sit right with my construction worker husband and when he got home from work on March 16, he decided to go up into our attic. At this point, we realized one of our roof trusses was completely saturated with water. He took pictures to send to Mike and we were told that it looked like fire damage. There has never been a fire in our house, we purchased it from the original owners so we would have known, it's water damage. As of today, April 23, 2026 our roof has still not been repaired, Mike is ghosting us via text messages, and we now have water damage to the drywall in our bathroom, making this an even bigger issue. We would NOT recommend Green Built Roofing or Mike in any capacity to anyone based on our experience. It is at the point, we are contacting other roofing companies to have the leak addressed on our supposed 50 year warranty roof or looking into filing a home insurance claim with the extent of the damage and potential for mold growth in our home.

It's NO Hot Tub on our property. We had it removed 2 years earlier. HOW DARE HE! Should've been a flag to ABORT. Our issue is the installation of our brand new gutter system, Oct '25. MASSIVE Ice Dams, first week of Feb, which never occured before, in the 3 years we've lived here, formed and we had multiple leaks in our kitchen. Austin booked a meeting for the end of Feb, the 28th. 3 weeks of rain inside our kitchen, had to pay to the Ice Dams to be removed or suffer major damage within our home. How generous, Lopez! What a joke. Austin Lopez, a "Manager" said WHATEVER the issues, "he'd make us whole, if it took 5 grand'for a 5 star rating"... Sounded good to us, as we'll be dealing with this worthless, OVERPRICED gutter system for our whole lives here. We're Seniors, we NEVER expected be taken advantage of. Another lying snake, he disrespected me at our last call, saying he stands by his product. "Mathew from LeafGUARD Michigan", apparently another USELESS manager reached out with a call last Thursday, which I returned twice Thursday and once Monday, the 24th. Austin blamed everything including our roof, which is 8 yrs old, and in great shape according to the 3 Inspectors we had over, NONE of which would give us us an estimate to replace a good roof. So now we so much REGRET our decision to hire LeafGUARD Gutters, it's a substantial system, seems sturdy except for the DOWNSPOUT GROUND LEVEL VERTICAL PIECE THAT BLEW DOWN THE DRIVE IN THE HIGH WINDS. A single screw was missed, I didn't catch, as they DIDN'T upon completion and walkthrough. NEVER HIRE LeafGUARD!!! One of our Inspectors said he had a client who opted to replace his 2 yr old LeafGUARD gutter system for a better, less costly, more efficient, LESS MAINTENANCE system. We simply can't afford that luxury, we have years to pay on ours... These snakes charged us $75 per linear foot for our 1400sqft Cable Ranch. The thought we'd able to get a Senior discount!!! WOW. No wonder their ratings, 1.7, are in the dirt. I'd give them a ZERO, but the system requires a whole number. This was a last ditch effort to get somebody thinking of a resolution, "TO MAKE US WHOLE!", mayby even someone from the sinking company.
