From the very first call to setup and subsequent pickup of the tent, chairs, linens, etc... after the event... Everything was flawless. Chris and his team had it all covered from start to finish. A few things to note since this was being setup in a back yard of a home... -They use barrels of water to secure the tent if spikes are out of the question. This did matter since some competitors use cement blocks that we did NOT want transported over grass for fear of "ruts". As it turns out we did not need weights so it was a moot point but again could have been an issue with competitors. -They will place the order for underground location of utilities (Julie). We jumped the gun and placed the order with JULIE ourselves, but this is part of their standard operating procedure when needed. All equipment was clean and in perfect condition, delivered. and picked up on time. All instructions communicated clearly and concisely. This company is run professionally by good people who really do care about their customers and their guests. Highly recommend heartland. You will not be disappointed.

We were on the hunt for a one stop shop for decor for a small backyard party during Covid-19:…read morelights, furniture, rugs, pillows, etc. This turns out it's harder to find than I expected unless you go with the big time players like Kehoe that was a bit pricier than I wanted for this particular party. I loved the rustic look of the furniture Elegant had and their prices were better than most. While they didn't have any rugs or pillows to rent (sigh), their wine barrels were perfection to use as high boys and ended up getting a bunch of their low benches to put together as low tables (to use with floor seating). And they were also able to provide lights for my backyard. While every other vendor told me that postposting due to rain or Covid-19 wasn't an option (say whaaa?) I also liked that they were flexible. The main issue was that getting ahold of them was extremely difficult. If the Yelp reviews didn't give me faith that they'd show in time fo the bash I would have been extremely worried. It took a lot of stalking for both me and my party planner to get a contract, pay for the contract and a date to set everything up. There is an emergency # and found that we had better luck when we called the emergency #. They set everything up a few days in advance so I didn't worry too much about them being a no show. I let them know they needed to come at 7am to get it all done since I was headed out for a busy day and they showed up even a few minutes early. An hour later my yard was lit up beautifully and I was really happy with the look of the furniture for the price. They set it all up on a Thursday morning and said they would be back on Monday to pick it up (also prompt for pick up) so we got to enjoy a long weekend of beautiful lights. While the service leading up to the event wasn't the best, I'd probably still use them since it was smoothly the weekend of the event. However, I'd hope they would be more on top of their communication next time.

We didn't have a guest book because people were putting their well wishes and funny litle messages on the videos. Now I have videos of all my quests talking without being able to know what they said. I was really excited about this and it was very dissapointing that the company wasn't able to fix it. They provided a partial refund which I appreciate but I am still sad that I will never be able to watch those videos. The picutres turned out well - I would just make sure with the person working the booth that everything is set up correctly before the weding starts.

And because the initial greeting lacked luster. I will use another Rental place much closer in the future, and will say 'Goodbye' to the Fun Ones. Marissa Dries is an excellent Event Coordinator. She's focused, temperate, pays attention to detail, and stays in contact with the customer giving status on the order. One driver who delivered all of the rentals and setup the outside propane heaters was Kristopher who speaks well of his employer and is very friendly. His helper couldn't understand nor speak English, and it just made me wonder how does he relate to English only customers. I get businesses needing to make a profit and will charge for every widget and perhaps even pay less experienced employees less, but I still don't get why. Lower your profit margin and vote people who have no clue how to manage a country out of office.
