Jerk Brisket, white rice with oxtail gravy, cabbage and plantain.

K&S Jamaican Food is absolutely amazing! I get the jerk ribs almost every weekend -- they're always flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly. I recently tried the jerk brisket and it was just as incredible, packed with that authentic smoky spice. I also always buy the fish, and it never disappoints. Consistently great food and one of my favorite spots to eat!

I ordered for pickup via uber eats and the time estimate was great. They had my order ready and it was a quick process to get it. There was more than enough food in the meal. I was able to eat twice. There was plenty of seating inside and outside of the restaurant.

Worst experience ever! I live in the area and wanted some authentic beef patties. What I got was some stuff that came out of a box and off an assembly line. The patties were flaky and falling apart. They were not hot they weren't even warm. Just some beef flavored pastries. Not beef patties because there wasn't any beef In there. I paid $3.00 each. I could have purchased a double cheese burger and got more beef. Service was quick but not friendly. I visited the mobile location in Bethlehem on Loganville hwy. I don't recommend it and I will not be back. They even had a tip jar? What are people tipping for? They don't have any outdoor seating to bring the food to you. So I am confused about the tip jar. Anyway, I'm not a fan!

This is the place to go and buy authentic Jamaican cuisine! We have been coming to this family own Restaurant for three years now. The food is made fresh to order. I ordered Curry Chicken which comes with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. All food was cooked well and seasoned. They do not have white meat, but I enjoyed it anyways. The owner guides each employee with wisdom and leadership. The place inside is cozy and family friendly.

I got takeout from here. I got the large oxtails, macaroni and cheese, rice and peas, and plantain. It was a hugeeee portion and I tore that thang UP! It was so good! I'm not usually a fan of spicy food but this wasn't crazy spicy at all. It was a little oily but not too bad, especially when I mixed the rice with the oxtail gravy. Highly recommend if you're looking for good Jamaican food There's a big parking lot but there are a lot of cars going in and out of that plaza and the parking spaces are really small. I suggest parking further instead of trying to park right in front of K&S because it was kind of annoying trying to get in and out.

I was excited to visit K&S Jerk Shop after a colleague raved about how they have the best jerk chicken hands down. I must say that the staff was friendly and the place seems to get a steady stream of orders. This isn't really a spot to dine in, although they do have two tables should you prefer to do so. I ordered the large jerk chicken meal. They do not have white meat as an option. The jerk chicken meal comes with plantain, rice and peas, and cabbage. The cabbage was way overcooked and mushy. The plaintain was perfect as was the rice and peas. The rice was exceptionally well seasoned and delicious. However, at the end of the day, the jerk chicken is what I came for and which the weight of my ranking goes towards. I'll start with the positive, the chicken was hot and fresh and the meat was ready to fall right off the bone! Unfortunately, this was not good jerk chicken. As another reviewer commented, it's grilled chicken with a jerk sauce on the side. As I've said in previous reviews, a true jerk chicken does not rely on all of its flavor to come from a sauce. I really wish that my chicken itself was well seasoned. It had plenty of char from the grill but that's it.

We ordered food to go, I would just double check the order because we almost walked out without all our food. It was decent for what we ordered, the jerk chicken just tasted like seasoned grilled chicken, the rice and peas were okay but dry (requested gravy but didn't come 9! there), the Mac n cheese was a little over seasoned and the ox tail sauce was too thick for my liking. The cabbage & plantains were pretty good.

I'm from New York & this place reminded me of the restaurants back home. The staff was friendly. The moment you walk in you can smell the aroma of the spices. The ox tail and curry goat was really good. Lots of flavor and they give a good portion for what you paid for.

Unsatisfied with the food here, the service was not bad. I ate at this place two days in a row just to see if 1 day it was off. I ordered the brown stewed chicken and the ox tails. Both had a disappointing sauce that was too much on the salty side. Both beef patties I got look like the photo. The crust to beef ratio was off big time on both days. I won't give it less than two stars because the rice and Mac & cheese was fine.

This is HIDDEN GEM in Dacula! SOOOO GOOD. I woke up craving Caribbean food, and I found K&S Jerk Shop on Yelp. This is a small Jamaican Shop located in the same shopping center as TradeWind Coffee Co. They offer Jerk Chicken, Pork, and WINGS! Curry Chicken, Shrimp and Goat, Oxtails, and more. They also have Jerk Ribs on Fridays and Saturdays only. I ordered the Jerk Pork with rice & beans, cabbage, and plantains for $8.95 and when I tell you it was SOOO much food... I had lunch and dinner with just one plate, and it was delicious! The inside of the shop is small, and although they have a couple of tables inside, it seems most orders are for takeout. All in all, best jerk pork I've ever had and I am definitely coming back! ESPAÑOL Esto es GEMA OCULTA en Dacula! Suuuper BUENO.

Food is always on point. No long waiting time and authentic Jamaican menu. This spot brings the memory of my many visits to Jamaica.

Not very good, too salty and some food are stale. Service is subpar and the ambience has little to be desired.

The food quality and quantity also are contributing factors. The artwork throughout including history pieces on the origin of the Haitian flag, and a prominent display of leadership which included my great, great, great, grandfather brought joy to my heart! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal which consisted of kabrit (goat), Djon Djon rice, green plantain and salad. I did request extra pikliz and gravy, as the gravy doubles as my salad dressing due to the rich flavor. The ample portions allowed for two additional meals, which were equally delicious as the seasoning marinated additionally. Everything was fresh. The rolls I purchased were soft to the touch and I was assured that they were baked that day after inquiring. They reminded me of my father, also of Haitian descent, and the bakery in South Florida near parent's retirement community. My dad would take me there and we would get fresh Haitian bread and rolls. Truly, one of the best nostalgic moments with the reminder of him and the delicious food. The location provided ample parking, and was not crowded when I first arrived. I placed my order after looking at all the offerings, including jams and other Haitian baked goods. Although I was assured that my food would be ready in about 15 minutes, it was closer to 30. Several people came in after me picking up large orders. My order taker acknowledged that my food would be ready soon, and I appreciated that. Thankfully, I was not in a rush. Do keep that in mind when visiting, and ordering in advance may be an option. I will definitely return to try my other favorites, including griot (despite limiting pork intake...smh) and legume. Truly pleased to find a great Haitian restaurant in Gwinnett. Shout out to the Tik Tok person who brought it to my attention in her post!
