They had such awesome treats like goberries, spicy mango, beef and fish jersey, watermelon and ginger candies, and various dried fishes. They list the item in Vietnamese and English on placard on top of the bin as well as the price per pound. Im not sure if the lady manning the store spoke English as the conversation was solely in Vietnamese between the owner and my friend. I suppose pointing is a universal language if I were to go back and English was not spoken. Snack World was a treat!

I'm a pretty daring eater but some of the items they have here are just plain odd. My mom likes to come here to pick up dried pumpkin seeds and she swears by this place! Everything is weighed and sold by the pound and is exceptionally fair considering some of the wacky items here. Most ranged from $2 per lb to $14. I was even able to get some delicious coffee candy for $0.07 a pop! Just because some items are unusual and I'm sure that there are some tasty delicacies in this joint, I have to go with 3 stars!

Also came across a couple of unique finds, sunny-side-up eggs and vegan spam. I am always on the lookout for a good vegan egg to try and was so glad I found this. Took a photo of my purchases which will give future shoppers a sampling of what you can find here as they don't have a website. In concluding, will mention a couple of things which may be helpful. There is a photo posted to Urthly Vegan Market's Yelp page and a sandwich restaurant called SubVegan was right next door to them. Had been wanting to try them too but they've moved and are no longer at this location. Urthly Vegan Market has been in business for two years and I really hope they'll be around for years to come.

The individual containers of fresh fruit look so appealing and delicious, like the dragonfruit, coconut, strawberries and berries, etc. Love the bottles of fresh watermelon juice! Tried their monthly smoothie for $6. The tropical date smoothie was very yummy and refreshing! Definitely worth it! Salad bar: full of vibrant lettuce and veggies. It was refilled in the time I was there. Big piles of lettuce! Good options to add and customize your salad. Pasta salad, broccoli salad, Caesar salad and sweet potatoes were available. Everything looked so fresh! They also have soup available. Hot bar: good options with protein, sides and pizza. They also have rotisserie chicken, burritos and bowls. I bought a bunch of burritos, which my boys love. At home, we crisp them up in a pan. So good! Nice display of fresh guacamole and chips. Nice cheese display and samples of parmesan crisps, which was delicious! Natural Living dept: the shelves are nicely faced and full. The vitamin staff are friendly and helpful!

Kevin is the man--very knowledgeable and professional. Yes, prices can be a bit higher, but I see it as an investment in my health and my family's well-being. You also find products here that aren't available at most other stores. Of course, like anywhere, people can have off days, but that's normal and not something to judge too quickly. Sometimes negative reviews don't tell the full story, and from what I've seen, the team does a great job handling all kinds of situations with professionalism. Overall, it's a well-managed store and I consistently have a positive experience.

I come here looking for specific things like natural maple syrup and high quality flour. I tend to not get fruits and I tend to find more items here from small businesses than brand name spots, so I'll sporadically find things here to impulse buy. They also have lots of prepared self-service hot foods and a poke bar if you want a meal to go. My favorite thing here are their fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, priced at $3.75. They sell so many of them, that they're constantly putting out fresh batches. I've come in four times this year for it and it's been hot and fresh every time! I find that outstanding as I've been to stand alone bakeries with cookies that weren't as fresh as they are here. The cookie is massive and has high quality ingredients you can taste. It's as good of a chocolate cookie as you can find anywhere. Come get some, because if they keep up the high turnover, then I can keep eating them hot and fresh!

I've had issues with the fresh cheese cut in-store, which unfortunately tasted off and had a strong ammonia-like flavor. I will be returning it tomorrow for a refund. This experience has put me off buying their fresh cheeses going forward. I'm also not particularly impressed with the pre-cooked deli selection. There are frequent things that make me hesitate to purchase, such as a recent fish dish that was heavily overdone with capers to the point it felt unbalanced. That said, I do still come in occasionally because they carry some hard-to-find items. I've found excellent coffee here, and I've enjoyed their crab cakes. Customer service has also been very mixed. I had a particularly unpleasant experience with a cashier who had a poor attitude when I was overcharged for an item that was marked differently on the shelf than what I was charged. I went back to show the original price tag, even retrieving the torn portion to demonstrate it matched. Despite this, I was treated as if I might be trying to manipulate the price over a difference of about two dollars. There was no apology, just a dismissive and rude demeanor. The correction was eventually made, but it was handled awkwardly, and I was handed multiple receipts while my original receipt for other purchases was not returned. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, not because of the pricing issue itself, but because of how it was handled. Overall, I still stop in for a few specialty items, but my confidence in consistency and customer service has definitely been affected. The ambiance of the store is nice. The parking lot it can often be a nightmare.

The staff was kind and helpful and there appeared to be a lot of locals enjoying their meals out in their outdoor seating area. While the market had a bunch of fun fermented offerings, the food that I ordered from their cafe was not exactly what I expected. I ordered the chili and spicy kraut grilled cheese combo. The portions were on the smaller side but given it was lunch I didn't really mind. I was more let down by the lack of flavor in their grilled cheese, the spicy kraut was neither spicy and just didn't really add much aside from texture. The chili on the other hand was delicious so that partially redeemed the meal for me. My boyfriend got their bone broth which was very very light and needed additional seasoning though. While I love what they're trying to build here, I'm not sure if I'd go back.
