We came to this place on a hunch. We had bought from here way back but never remember to actually visit the store. We ate across and was talking then decided to stop by and take a look. I am so glad I stop by and see it with my eyes. The only negative I said about this place is that, it is not visible from the street. It tuck inside a small little entrance. I literally walk over from next door shopping center. I hope this is useful for people to find this place.

The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and explain the different products. I also loved browsing the shop's unique selection of specialty foods--many of which I'd never seen before, and some whose names I couldn't even pronounce! I ended up taking home some caviar and blinis, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try their pastries. I shopped here couple time since it opened but 1st time since this branch took over. Parking is huge but depending when you go so it can be crowed and hectic at time. There is that old Asian market smell (mixed of fish/meat/and veggies all together) upon entering. Fresh veggies and fruits. Meats and seafood are good cooking and plenty of selection. Prices wise are reasonable and affordable for sure. Staff are stiff and seem not quite happy (and I'm here at 9am), they can be abit friendly...but overall not bad.

Funny, we came here just for that, but we ended up getting only 2 boxes of it and 10 boxes of MAMA noodles with pork flavor at $6.98 per box. It didn't matter which noodles we bought as along as my Mom was good with her purchase. During our visit, I walked around the store. It's your typical Asian supermarket, but it has more Vietnamese brands. The store was quite clean and organized. Aisles were a little snugged though. It has all the essentials that a supermarket normally has... fresh produce, meats, seafood, dry goods, household stuff, alcohol section, etc. Lady at the register was okay. She didn't count the boxes and trusted us. Thank you miss! Check-out was easy and quick. Upon exiting the store, a staff member marked our receipt on our way out. I found it interesting that an Asian supermarket would have this procedure in place. It's all good. I probably won't be back here too often or much at all to shop as I don't live near the Westminister area. This was a special request visit from my Mom. Just for the noodles! LOL

Located in the heart of Little Saigon next to Asian Garden Mall, it's conveniently located. Parking in the lot is limited, but there's plenty of street parking nearby. The shop was clean, well-organized, and stocked with a huge variety of jerky and other treats. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and offered generous samples. Since we aren't beef jerky experts, we asked to try their most popular flavor. It had a medium-high level of spice and was absolutely delicious, packed with incredible flavor in every bite! A special thank you to Thao, who spoke perfect English and made our experience even better. When she heard we were taking the jerky in our carry-on luggage, she kindly vacuum-sealed our order for us. They offer both 1/2 lb and 1 lb bags, making it easy to choose the right size. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and never pushy. They speak Vietnamese, Chinese, and English, ship nationwide if needed, and even accept credit cards with no extra processing fee. We'll definitely be back! If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese beef jerky bursting with flavor, this is the place to go. Be sure to ask for Thao, you'll be in great hands!

She's been to stores in Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, Arcadia mall, but in particular, Westminster where we came across 168 Kho Bo. We marveled at how the dried ginger, spicy and not spicy, were fresher and not old-looking like the ones in the store we had just visited. 168 was newer, had more light, more customers (a good sign) and the prices were reasonable. Free parking at the mall. We'll be back the next time mom runs out of her preserves and visits me in Los Angeles.

Long awaited review as I have been coming here for decades. There are so many markets all over…read moreLittle Saigon, however, I keep gravitating here. Seems to me, it is less crowded than other markets. (If I can avoid crowds, I will). It was Tet New Year season and I needed to get a few ingredients for some dishes I planned to cook. My first priority was the fresh oxtail in the meat department. I have gone to many markets for this cut and it seems this is the best place for a ~2 pound tray of mixed size tails. The fat is all trimmed off, as opposed to other markets that leave a fat layer behind that you are paying for. It also depends on if you prefer leaner tails. Next, the produce section. I picked up some cailan (Chinese broccoli). For the most part, the Asian veggies are pretty fresh - since there is a higher turnover rate of Asian veggies in this area. It was good on this day. So many varieties of green veggies, I love it! The fruit section is also pretty impressive. Papayas, guanabana, dragon fruit, pommelo, tangerines, korean pear, manzano bananas,...Not your ordinary apples and oranges. Dry goods include a plethora of rice, including Thai sweet rice, Japanese rice (perfect for sushi rice), red rice (known for high fiber and low glycemic index)... Who likes Chinese Style sausage? Me! It is called Lap Xuong, in Vietnamese. I love making Thai sweet rice and serve with thinly sliced Lap Xuong - my mom fed us kids this often! And yes, they have a good supply of this here, so stock up, it will last forever in the pantry. Vietnam is the world's second largest coffee producer. You will see the crazy amount of coffee products sold here, for example, Vinacafe. Most are packed as individual serving packets which includes cream and sugar. Too convenient for consumption! Also perfect to have in your pantry. You shall be impressed with the chili aisle. Sambal of all kinds. You can make an awesome pot of chili with this heat! Lots of Lunar New Year items too. I am sure there are still some left for purchase if you didn't have a chance to pick some up yet. They do have a liquor department too. Asians can drink iykyk. If you do, please don't drink and drive. Parking is ok, if you go shopping off peak hours. Market is on Beach Boulevard and it could get pretty busy so plan wisely. So enjoy your visit. It is always fun to discover a new product and try something you have never eaten before!

For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up. Overall, still a great spot for affordable grocery shopping, especially if you're cooking at home and want to save a bit here and there. (visited on 3/31/2026)
