Then they told me to first reach out to the small business it was from, because they would likely fix it for much less or even free. I did as they suggested and the original jeweler is repairing the seating issue for free, and the prong for $40. I have since gone back to have a different gold ring and a silver bracelet repaired and they did excellent work on both. Honest, friendly, and reliable--Bryn Mawr has our business for life!

Well, when the young lady that took care of me took my ring I had her weigh it. She did and when she returned it to me after being sized, it weighed the exact same and they were charging me for "extra gold". They didn't add any they just thinned out the ring to size it. Also, I took a tennis bracelet there because it was missing a stone, they added a stone and cleaned it - within a week two more stones had fallen off, they were really rough of they loosened them on purpose so I would return to an additional repair. Scam artists do not go here. Last time I posted Omar himself reached out and stated that he had tried to repair the situation and had Yelp remove my post, so I truly hope that this time it stays live. Why you ask? It is only fair to warn others. This place is a staple in the latino community, and I simply wonder what they do to others, they are unethical.

Pam and Pat Holtzmann are the most phenomenal folks around. When you're in their store, you feel like family. They are super friendly, and made you feel comfortable from the get-go. They are both super patient, and they really take the time to educate you on different stones, and different aspects of design to help make sure that you're creating a jewelry piece that will last a lifetime with proper care. We ended up having my engagement ring and my husband's wedding ring made by them, and then after having my husbands wedding ring made, I ended up wanting to make a more feminine, mini-version of his ring to be able to wear myself as well, and they helped us make that too. The quality of the jewelry pieces we received is outstanding, and working with Pam and Pat was the same. We valued getting to work with them so closely on pieces we plan to wear a lifetime! Although we had rings made, Holtzmann's specializes in all types of custom jewelry. We happened to pop into the store at the tail end of another couple leaving who had the most beautiful custom bracelet made, and at another visit saw someone picking up a necklace that they had redesigned with stones from a different necklace they no longer wore anymore. All of those jewelry pieces were amazing too. 10/10 recommend for whatever your jewelry needs are!!

I understand Kailee and Rebecca helped with design ideas, were very patient as he went back and forth between a few options, and were all-around extremely helpful throughout the production process. They kept him informed every step of the way. After we became engaged, I needed to get the ring sized. I went back several times to see Kailee and Rebecca and they were extremely helpful and gracious, telling me what a pleasure it was to work with my fiance. They also sized the ring perfectly. Since then I've had to go back once to tighten one of my prongs (my ring has a high setting and I'm sure I bumped it a bit too hard on something). Each experience is better than the last. Quality is of utmost importance to these ladies as well as Vinny, and it shows both in the craftsmanship of their work and the pride they take in its upkeep. No questions asked, they are always happy to visit/meet with me to be sure everything is in tip top shape. I get compliments on my ring all the time. Looking for a custom engagement ring on a graduate student's budget is a not an easy task. Meeting with jewelers around the Loop began to feel like buying a car instead of a ring for my future wife. Kailee was the first, and only, jeweler to walk me through the entire process and teach me how to shop for the right piece (and not get burned) while I was out meeting with other jewelers. That level of respect for her clients made me immediately want to work with her. After learning a bit about who we were and what I wanted in a ring, Kailee searched and presented me with a great number of options, advising where my ideas would work and how to keep it in my budget. More importantly, she never skimped on quality throughout the entire design process. I know I wasn't the wealthiest guy walking through Kailee's door, but I was picky and wanted the highest quality possible. Kailee never flinched and worked with me as close as she would any other client.
