Just brought in my 10 K charm for a tiny repair because it broke off a pendant and the owner Keren lied to me and said it wasn't gold and would melt during the soldering process. This is the fourth visit and each time she asks me if I will GIVE her my great pyrenees puppy that I bought from a farmer a year ago. Keren...inquires about me superficially then begs for me to just hand her a new puppy that I have grown very attached to. She not only lied about charm not being gold but she is absolutely not professional by her treatment of me. I made the mistake of introducing my new puppy to her and he kept avoiding her touch obviously because my dog is extremely empathic and sensitive to negative emotions and negative energies. She collects pyrenees puppies and wants mine too apparently so I told her firmly for the 4th time that I've owned dogs for 30 years and I don't throw away animals because they are part of my family. It's as if she thinks that I'm so far beneath her socially and financially that I don't deserve to own a dog. I took my gold heart to someone else just now and he did a test and told me he can definitely fix it and my charm is real 10K gold. I've no clue where Keren received her training but I'm never stepping into this store ever again because of her disdainful attitude towards me! I had a really poor experience with this jeweler. I brought in a necklace to be repaired and initially the staff was very friendly and quoted a reasonable price for the fix. But upon picking up the item, I was charged two or three times more than initially quoted, and the woman I picked up from was very rude. I'd expect to have a phone call detailing the work that needed to be done to make sure I was okay with the "new price". The worst part is, the necklace clasp broke about a week later and I'm back to square one. I will not return here or bring any future business here. read more

I have had a decade long relationship with Keren and purchased numerous pieces from her, wedding bands etc. I recently went in to get some pieces cleaned/polished and earrings that I purchased less than a year ago we're loose so I took them in. She didn't quote me at all (never charged me in years past so I assumed the same or a reasonable amount) and charged me an outrageous amount and frankly made me sick to my stomach expensive. When I asked her about it she was rude and frankly it shocked me how she behaved/aggressively texted back to a customer for over a decade. K Stonehill offers a very nice assortment of modern & vintage-style jewelry BFF & I were drawn in by a lovely rutilated quartz ring, we saw in the window The person in the shop (I think, the owner) was already speaking w/ someone in the store, who we assumed was in the jewelry business as well, b/c they were talking about stone suppliers & prices for various gems..... She brought out this emerald ring a client had brought in b/c the stone had cracked. They spoke about how she replaced the old Colombian emerald w/ a Brazilian emerald, which cost her $550 per carat.......not sure what price she passed on to the client....... But if the price of the quartz was any indication, it was one *pricey* replacement. That quartz was WAY above what I was willing to pay for a non-precious gem.... but I definitely acknowledge it was a lovely stone & the setting was simple yet elegant She offered to make it in a lesser quality gold but 1st of all, it would have been a different ring & secondly, even then, it was still well above my willingness factor .....not for quartz So overall assessment of this shop was A-OK.
