Great fun with family. Went with my dad and the workers told us the best lines to take and had our best interest in mind.

Tonight we took three boys (14 yrs) all three boys wore black shirts, not the same. The track was packed. Both nights we purchased the $150 deal ($140 local discount). Tonight there was a group that was rowdy, beating, banging, tangled up, spinning out, etc. The last ride, my husband and I joined our boys... on the first lap, the manager threw one of them out...NO warnings! Our group had NOT beat and banged all night! The manager had come out of the office-accused ours of being warned and threw him out-NOT true! We'd watched from the fence the entire 5 races prior. Had we been in the wrong- I'd not had a problem with the repercussions. When I asked to speak to the manager-he was untruthful. Not only were we witnesses-my parents and another lady and her family saw everything that happened. We all agreed-if he'd not thrown any of the guys they knew out for beating and banging- everyone else should hav been fine. Guaranteed- they've lost our business, we'll not go back. Myrtle Beach has plenty of Go Carts- and managers that do t sit in an office and come out for one race and pick on one person for "spinning his Mother out." My son is so respectful- he told us- it wasn't me, I just didn't want to get the other guy in the black shirt in trouble-I'd ridden a lot of times! So...before you throw someone in a "black shirt" out- make sure you have the right one.

We bought the all day bands for the big kids and points by points for the 2 lil ones. Not much they can ride. Prices were reasonable but even more if you use group on . The park was clean and FINALLY an amusement park playing great music and not that rap crap. Food was very good and OMG they serve alcohol. Russel on that Spider-Man ride was funny. Nancy on the choo choo antique cars was friendly and Lisa on hot air balloon ride gets an At dealing with my ver stubborn 4 yr old. She took the time to ensure my lil one it's a fun not scary ride. HE LOVEC IT. Overall had a great time and definitely will be back next year. Susan Kiley Augusta, GA

So entering the park I came through an alley way into the park and I was kinda like ok but hey it worked so I went straight to the ticket kiosk to get some to ride The Swamp Fox so they do let you buy individual tickets but if you use your credit card there is a surcharge fee as well as a $2 activation fee for the amusement card so keep that in mind! So after one ride on the swamp Fox I knew I had to get one more as it was just a solid fun wooden coaster that was very smooth and totally good from start to finish perfect for all ages! Across the park they had various other rides but none of them really made me want to ride them other than Swamp Fox. Overall it was a good time and worth the trip here to ride it so if your a coaster junky add it to your list if not and your in the area totally ride it because it's a lot of fun!

Yelp 100 Challenge -#35…read more Wonder Works is a 4 level arcade offering different attractions and things to do on each level. Wonder Works is great for a first date or even a fun family outing. 1st Floor includes the lobby, gift shop, Wonder Cafe, Hurricane Shack, Xtreme 360 Bikes, Physical Challenge Zone, and party room. 2nd Floor includes Laser Tag. If you have a little child, you may be able to take turns and go in different heats. 3rd Floor includes the wall of illusions, XD Theater, draw alive, Wonder Coaster, Bed of Nails, Bubble Lab, and STEM Room. 4th Floor includes space discovery, ropes course, arcade games that you purchase to play, art of Dr Seuss, Imagination Lab, and Interactive Sandbox. My favorite was the digital Wonder Coaster. It is an indoor ride that follows along a video of a roller coaster flipping you and spinning you like the real thing. I recommend wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing so you are able to ride majority of the attractions inside. You can also add on the Wonder Works casebook and slice different riddles as you explore the four levels.

It's a fun spot for kids, but as an adult, I wouldn't feel the need to go back. It can get pretty crowded, so I'd recommend going early on a weekday instead of the weekend if you can. A few of the exhibits weren't working during my visit, which was a little disappointing. While it's entertaining, I do think the price is a bit high--around $35 per person would feel more reasonable than $40. Overall, it's a decent way to spend some time, especially for families, but not something I'd go out of my way to do again.

When I get the chance I try to hit as many indoor karting tracks as I can when I travel. I came to…read moreMyrtle Beach a day early for a bachelor party and so I looked up "Myrtle Beach Indoor Karting" on Google to see what I could find. To my surprise and delight this place showed up and I drove over there as soon as it opened. Please don't judge the idea/activity of indoor karting based on this place. I don't know exactly what to call this facility, but it is an odd one-off karting business for sure. When I read that the karts had 33 horsepower electric engines I got excited. The karts are made out of what looks like aluminum square tubing. In some places the bracing looks to be solid aluminum. The vehicles (I have a problem calling them karts) are huge and have to weigh 500 pounds or more. Still 33 horsepower should be plenty to sufficiently propel them... not so, the acceleration was about like a fat man running after a Dorrito. It wanted to go faster, but just couldn't. The track is actually paved/asphalted which is a new one on me, but they have the track, banked turns and all paved inside a building. That might be a good thing if the karts were anything other than giant piggy tanks, but the banking just causes the open differential on these things to spin the inside lifted tires at the exit of the turn to make a flaccid whizzing noise while it free wheels. They don't provide lap times, which is ridiculous for an indoor karting track. There is probably only room for 4 or 5 of these track yachts on the track at a given time, if that, and I can't imagine how long it must take for them to cycle through a line of 20 or so people on a busy night. It is a tourist trap plain and simple. Stay away and drive your rental car around their parking lot instead. That would be more exciting, and the cop that pulls you over would likely be more personable than their employees were.
