Kristy, Luna, and Jessie were extremely welcoming and accommodating during our Hydro Facial treatments and we were both seen at the same time which was very convenient. My mom chose to do the Hydro Facial + Collagen Boost treatment while I chose the Hydro Facial + Oxygen Infusion treatment as suggested by Kristy. Kristy started off my treatment with cleansing, exfoliation, and extraction. She informed me about different products she would be using on my skin beforehand to be aware of any sensations that may come up which was a nice heads up! Kristy also gave wonderful and straightforward advice to maintain a good, healthy skincare routine. She provided informative advice with specific products to use to help improve the skin. Luna continued on with the Oxygen Infusion treatment, which had a very cooling effect on the skin and ended the treatment with a relaxing shoulder, neck, and head massage. Once my mom and I had our facials completed, we both agreed that our skin felt much more lighter, radiant, and glowy! I had a facial Monday morning with Jessie and enjoyed it! You really can't beat the price of $99 for an hour long HydraFacial and cleaning. The spa itself was very clean and modern. The $99 special came with cleaning, extraction, head/shoulder/neck massage, and more. The hour went by fast and wished it lasted longer. My specialist recommended I upgrade to something that has more moisturizer techniques since my face was a little dry, for $139. I passed and would probably come back next time to try it. Jessie made sure I didn't feel pain and checked in on me throughout the process to make sure I was okay. My face felt so smooth and clean afterwards. My favorite part was the cleaning of the dead skin with the suction. It helped my face feel smooth. Jessie recommended I put on more M3 and B5 serum on my face, which she did during the session. The room she has for her clients is very cozy and clean. She has you lay on a warm massage table with a cover up and blanket. She turns down the lights and plays relaxing spa music. WOW did I receive a bait-and-switch. I walked out about 5 minutes into my facial with cleanser still on my face. I do that when I am told that the facial I booked is not the one I'm receiving, and the facial I am receiving is 100% more in cost. I booked the Hydra facial, which is $99 and consists of cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidation according to their website. I was supposed to be seen at 10:30 today, but at 10:23, as I was parking, I received a phone call from the studio. My esthetician was sick and could I come in at 1 or 1:15? I agreed to 1:00 and returned home. This was a mild inconvenience. I returned at 12:57 and was greeted by a perplexed Asian woman who seemed confused because my appointment was (her words) "at 1:00." I wondered why she was upset that I was 3 minutes early. I was then instructed to sit and wait, which I did, as balloons around me popped at random. At 1:10 she let me into the facial room, told me I have rosacea, and instructed me to take off my upper clothing. She returned at 1:15, dropped some plastic on my eyes, and then asked me what kind of facial I'd had in the past, when my last facial was, and whether I was allergic to anything. I was puzzled and uncomfortable because usually that's done first? And the chest drape was very uncomfortable; I am a large-chested woman and the plastic snaps dug in to my skin. She then started rubbing some sort of stinging, gritty cleanser on my face. Once she'd gotten started, she told me that she was going to begin my facial and then someone else was going to take over to finish it. She also said that, since I'm a first-time customer, I get a 10% discount on my facial, which would bring the cost to $162. I said I'd booked the $99 facial. She said something about me receiving a chemical peel (I couldn't quite follow) and I said I hadn't wanted a chemical peel. Just a standard $99 facial. She seemed pretty confused. I then said, "this is over. I'm going now." While maintaining modesty, I got up, which threw her in a tizzy. She left and I put on my clothes, wiped the cleaner off my skin with a dry towel, and as I was leaving she returned from her bathroom with wet tissues for my face. I declined them and left. Any place that waits until the facial has already started to tell you that you're going to be paying twice as much as you expected for a facial you hadn't booked is a scam. Also, I understand substituting a person if your original person is sick, but my facial should not have felt rushed, I should not have been treated like an inconvenience, and there shouldn't be another person tagging in halfway through. I don't know what kind of business K21 running, but the kind of facial, the cost of the facial, allergies, skin concerns, and all that should be addressed BEFORE the client disrobes, not after. read more

I recently moved into the area and have been using Google Maps to "explore" and get to know the streets and businesses in Union City! I found Kristy by searching for places to get facials and am so glad I did!! I have had a love-hate relationship with my skin since becoming a teenager (think acne, cystic acne, acne scarring, some time on accutane, etc.) but only experienced my first facial last year. After seeing Kristy last week I have decided to make facials a recurring part of my routine as it made such a difference in my skin!
