There was plenty of parking, and the location was easy to find. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Kim examined my skin and shared a lot of helpful advice. During the facial, Kim worked quietly. Since it was my first time, I would've appreciated a bit more explanation about what she was doing--especially because my eyes were covered, so I wasn't sure what to expect or when something would be applied to my face. I did ask a few questions, which helped. Overall, it was a great experience. I think I even fell asleep in the chair and woke myself up snoring! The steam was hard to breath but it makes your skin moisturized and pores open up easier for extraction. The extraction can be painful but your pores are super clean afterwards. I've struggled with acne since my teens and I'm now in my 40s. Some oral medications helped in the past but the side effects weren't worth continuing so I pretty much resigned myself to a lifetime of breakouts. I tried facials at a few different places in Fremont and wasn't happy with the results from any of them until I found Kim. I wish I had taken before pictures to share because her facials have made a huge improvement! When I first saw her my skin was so broken out that I found myself avoiding social events because I was embarrassed by my appearance. I could tell that things were moving in the right direction after only two or three sessions with her and now that I've been going to her for about 6 months my skin is almost completely clear. She recommended that I not wash my face before the appointment so that she could clean off the dirt and sweat during the facial. The experience was gentle and painless, and she did a great job cleaning the blackheads on my nose. Kim communicates each step she is doing so you're not surprised. Additionally, she performed an oxygen treatment afterward at no additional cost, which had a nice cooling effect. Since it's been a few years since I had a facial, I decided to check Yelp to see if I can find someone closer to home. I settled with this place because of its location and it has really good reviews. I originally emailed Kim to make an appointment but it seems like she prefers text or a phone call. After a few text messages back and forth, I was able to get an appointment in the same week. When I arrived for my facial, my face was irritated from a new face cream that I had recently used. I told Kim what happened and she immediately recommended a particular facial for me. After the facial was done, Kim told me what to do to reduce the irritation. My wife did the scheduling with Kim and I went for my appointment. Parking is convenient since it's located in an establishment. She is located inside a saloon but she has her own business and is not associated with the saloon. She will be greeting you at the counter once you arrive for your appointment. Kim is a very nice person. She guided me to the room and after taking off my jacket and pair of shoes, I lie down in a comfortable lounge. Kim had a special offer for facial treatment this month and I took the hydra dermabrasion with facial. The facial treatment was very comforting. She mentioned to me that If I feel that the treatment is not comfortable, to let her know and she will stop. I did not feel any discomfort and told her that I did not feel any pain. The treatment lasted 80 minutes. Lying down for 80 mins while she was rubbing, massaging, and using state of art facial equipment on my face was an experience. After it was done, my face felt rejuvenated and fresh. Kim told me that she cleaned my face and also noticed that my face is sensitive. She advised me to use B5 serum since my face is always exposed to sunlight. I felt my face was cleansed and softer. I liked how my face felt after the treatment. From now on, I will make it a habit to have my facial treatment with Kim. I'm glad that my wife recommended her to me. I will make sure that when she gets her treatment, I will also be next to her. I somehow found Kim through yelp a year ago and went to my first appointment. She was super nice and was able to extract all of my milia. Location: off stevenson 880 exit, it's in the same plaza as the BonChon and a 7-Eleven. Kim is located in the nail salon (I forgot what it's called *cries*). Tons of parking, even on weekends. Experience: texting to make an appointment is probably the fastest way. Kim responded to me within 10 minutes to help me set up an appointment. I don't know how it's working right now since we are in another shelter in place with curfew.. but when I went, she was seeing 2 clients a day and was able to accommodate me on a Sunday morning at 10 AM. She was so accommodating with my schedule as well. The facial: I went in asking for a microdermabrasion (which is $100) but she told me that I only needed an acne facial ($65). It was so painful, but she really was able to extract all my impurities. I'd not had acne issues before this year, so it was really frustrating to me and I honestly didn't know what to do anymore, which is why I decided to get a facial. Kim was so helpful even after my facial and texted me a few days later asking how my face was looking, how I was feeling, etc. She continued to text me even after a month. SO SWEET.
