Had my toy poodle groomed well kinda i guess . I paid for it at least . I told him she had a swollen belly and could get uncomfortable. Also told him her nails were extremely long . He said he recommended a bear cut in which i said was fine, i didn't agree to make her bald. I could have done that . He took her brought her back 23 minutes later said she was done and didn't seem to be uncomfortable. She had been shaved almost bald her feet had long hairs all over them, along with her legs which also had long missed hair. One ear was completely missed on one side . Her toe nails were still extremely long . The other toy poodle that needed nails cut, he took and had him less than 5 minutes and most toe nails have also been missed . Yes he tried to call me back once i sent pictures of them in which. i missed his call .. But i am not sure what there is to say besides it was a horrible grooming in which i paid full price for. Not to mention he butchered off her tail. I am not one to complain but seems to me this was a very rushed grooming and this is the results of it . What a waste of money . read more

I have used this company for many years and love it. They come to your house and about a hour your dog is ready. I have 3 dogs in the house so it was very coinvent. I loved all the groomers till the last one. Renzo was a bit disappointing. I hate to say so. He was fast and did not do good job as others before him. I was going to let this go but this company's lack of response is infuriating me. I saw their reviews on nextdoor and thought they would be good with my dogs. One of my dogs is very nervous, anxious and will start nipping at the instruments. He HATES having his feet touched. Anyway, I thought since their website says they train dogs, maybe they would be able to help my anxious dog get through the grooming. Well 2 days before my grooming appt I receive a text saying "Hello. Just a heads up, you will see a changed appointment, it is the same, however, Jonathan is no longer grooming due to health concerns, it will be our new groomer, Samantha. Thank you." I said okay, as long as she is good with difficult dogs. So Samantha comes to my house. She did a great job with my 1st dog, the difficult & anxious one. No issues. Got his feet groomed nicely and nails trimmed. Very happy with how he turned out. Then we give her my 2nd dog, which is the easy one. Honestly I can groom him myself but decided to just let someone else do it this time. So Samantha takes him in the van. After that I don't know what happened. Samantha said he wiggled out of the harness and fell off the table. She said he landed on his shoulder and was out. Not breathing, not moving. She brings him out of the van and puts him on the ground and starts rubbing him to wake him up. His eyes were open but he was not moving, breathing, blinking, he was lifeless. After the longest 90seconds of my life he came back and started breathing and moving. We took him back on the house. Samantha was obviously very upset and emotional. We told her it was OK and that accidents happen and it was fine. Obviously emotions were high, the dog was acting weird and we did not continue with the grooming. We paid Samantha for the 1 dog and she left. Meanwhile my dog start having uncontrollable diarrhea, vomiting, he was breathing weird. We ended up taking him to the emergency vet spent $215 dollars there for the exam and a anti-nausea shot. My dog started to become more alert and oriented. The ER vet told us to check on him every 2hrs for the next 48hrs for worsening symptoms. Well he continues to slowly improve, thank God! I was going to let this go. Keep it to myself and just consider this an accident. Accidents happen. We paid for the 1 dog grooming ($100) and then a $215 vet bill for the other dog, whom didnt get groomed. I'm fine with that. It's just money. You know what I'm having issues with, Not a single person from this company called or texted me to check on my dog after what happened. Not one single person! It's been 2 days! This lack of compassion is the reason why I'm posting my experience and sharing it with other people. Accidents happen. This lack of integrity and compassion is why I will not be coming back. All it takes is 1 phone call or text to diffuse the situation but they chose to ignore it. I DO NOT recommend you trust these people with your fur babies. read more

One of the best MOBILE groomers in Colorado. My small dog was extremely overdue for a groom after a post accident, I found K9 Specialty who accommodated my schedule and showed up on time and gave me 100% more than I though possible. Both my sweet babies are now groomed and healthy. He recommended that I got their teeth scaled and he completely was the best at taking care of my dogs. Their teeth were very rotten since I adopted them and I only had recommendations from other veterinarians that it would be over $1000 each to have their rotten teeth removed. Within one session all of my small dog's teeth were clean and rotten teeth pulled out. Both are much happier and comfortable. I can't thank him enough for his help. UPDATE: They are cuts and a bruise. It's very clear now 24 hours later that they're scabbed up, and there are wounds all over her face. This is NOT normal. This man harmed my dog, and now he has nothing to say about it and has not once apologized. This is not acceptable. Stay away! Pics attached. ORIGINGAL: I had really high hopes due to the positive reviews. I generally groom my dog myself as I was taught to by a pro that specializes in Poodles, but she needed a full body clip and I thought why not get a pro and see if they can do it better. She also needed her nails trimmed because I lost my dremel and nail clippers make me nervous. I'd bathed and brushed her without doing a blowout two days before, so she didn't have any mats, and I'd done her ears that morning because she tends toward ear infections and I do them every other day so I can give her meds. All he had to do was a wash, clip, brush, and nail trim. I do that with her once a week. When I got her back, she looked ok at first glance, but on closer inspection, he'd shaved her down to the skin in patches on her face, missed whole chunks of hair at her ankles where it didnt look like he'd even brushed them much less trimmed them, her top knot was extremely uneven, she had a tangled patch by her neck where he didnt brush it after washing it, he hadn't done a sanitary trim around her genitals, her feet were patchy, and worst of all, she had bright red marks on her face. So not only was it a terrible cut that I have to go behind and fix, but she came back with red marks on her face. The only things that really looked good were her nails and the cute bows. I was going to recommend him to my neighbors, but after really seeing how bad it looks and being concerned about his handling, I can't. Plus, he charged me at the highest end of his quoted range to do a job that looked like the first time I ever groomed her as an amateur. It definitely wasn't a professional job by any means. I've seen better from PetSmart. He may be good with short haired dogs, but I wouldn't recommend him for a Poodle, a long-haired one, or one who doesn't like being groomed. REPLY TO COMMENT: I've clipped her face dozens of times w/o a guard and never left marks on her. I don't know you. All I know is my dog came back w/red marks that match up with fingers on her face after you had her alone. If I *wasn't* worried about the possibility that you'd been too rough with her, *that* would be concerning. She came back from a grooming with marks. That's important to share. Exactly how they got there may be speculation, but given that she has no skin conditions, there's no good reason for marks to be on her. Abrasions or burns from shaving may be your 'normal,' but they are not normal, and if you're satisfied with this quality, you should probably reconsider doing Poodles as they require skill to do right. The only time her coat has ever been as patchy as it is was the first time I did it myself. She has several strips that are shaved to the skin and other places where it isn't. There's a completely bald strip by her mouth. What I requested was that she keep the cut I had her in, that it look like she had leg warmers and flowy 60s hair, and that her face be clipped because she'd gotten a little gum on her nose. The basic shape was right, yes, but the cut itself is uneven, patchy, and choppy, her ankles have entire sections by her feet that were missed, and her tail and genital area isn't done at all. That's not '70s wild'; it's just a bad haircut. If I'm paying $125 for a grooming, I don't expect perfection, but I do expect it to be done right. Also, my Yelp is under my first and married names. Kate O. is the name I gave you as it's my middle and maiden name. The only thing I've groomed professionally are horses over a decade ago, and I'd gladly support your business had the cut been satisfactory. Again, given that you left marks on her, whether from rough handling or bad clipping, intentional or not, I'm concerned and not comfortable letting you touch my dog again. What I believe is you were in a rush because of the weather, did a subpar job, and handled her impatiently whether with hands or clippers. You did a crap job and don't even have the decency to acknowledge it and just apologize. Instead you choose to be rude and accuse me of nefarious purposes in reviewing your bad work. I'm out of space to discuss further. I'm not trying to get anything from you. I don't want a refund or your return. I just won't be using you again. read more

I was so thrilled to find a mobile groomer that was able to get us an appointment within a week. Communication was great and Johnny reached out during the snowstorm to verify he was still coming for the appointment. Showed up on time and took excellent care of our GoldenDoodle. My dog Mollie is not cooperative when I try to cut her nails. Like not even a tiny bit. But she will let Jonathan cut them with very little trouble. Jonathan will come to your house and take care of nails, grooming and teeth cleaning. He is also really excellent with my dogs, and gets their nails shorter than anyone without making them afraid. Great service especially when you're in a pinch for time. Jonathan was prompt (imperative for a working at home professional) kind, and did a fantastic job. It relieved my oldest pup with simply walking around out back to meet Jonathan at his van instead of going into a facility. My old pup is usually a nervous Nelly with grooming so this option of mobile grooming greatly eased him. One of my pups is a nervous Nellie so Jonny took extra time with him, other pup is a sweetie & she got a bow although didn't last too long ( I loved it she didn't :( ) Totally recommend just the fact he can read dogs For those of you in a neighborhood with pups maybe try to reach out to get a neighborhood pup wash going & i think you might get a discount but prices are already good since you don't have to drag your dog into some place. Totally totally recommend & again Jonny found the lump on one of my pups that turned out to be a mast cell tumor & I think might have saved her life as I probably would not have brought her in until March or April to get her checked for her annual He's a vet tech not just a groomer.
