She stayed until 10 PM (an hour after closing!) to make sure everything was right and never once rushed the process. Was charged for a deluxe blowout which their website quotes a deluxe blowout as "thick,coarse, and/or curly hair. I clearly have fine, straight hair so it should have been charged the classic blowout. The stylist was also very pushy trying to make me get highlights even after being told multiple times no. Utterly Disappointing Experience I visited The Hair Cuttery hoping to receive a professional wig cut as their services were advertised. However, my experience was distressing and highlighted a severe lack of professionalism and possible discriminatory practices. Upon arriving my appointment was met with confusion and a lack of discretion from the staff who publicly debated their inability to service my wig, despite having confirmed over the phone that they could prior to the appointment. They claimed my wig was synthetic and after informing them that it was human hair, they said they have "no way to verify that". Despite offering services for hair extensions, the salon staff was astonishingly unable to discern whether hair is synthetic or human. Not only did this cause me to question their expertise and reliability, but their professionalism and compassion were brought into question. They loudly refused me service in front of the salon which made the environment seem very unwelcoming and hostile. Nonetheless, I left without protest and thanked them for their time. This was my experience a year ago but I'm moved to write this review today because I contacted The Hair Cuttery again, looking for the same service. I only encountered further inconsistencies. They initially indicated a possibility for a consultation but then refused to book an appointment, claiming that i had five no shows on my account. I asked if this issue could be rectified because the claim is entirely unfounded as I had been present at the salon and refused service, but was not given any way to solve the matter. This entire ordeal was not only a monumental waste of time but also deeply concerning. The staff's inability to provide clear information as well as their unprofessional behaviour raises serious questions about their customer service and business ethics. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider patronising Hair Cuttery. While I cannot speak on the quality of their hair services I can say that the treatment I received was not only unprofessional but also carried undertones of bias that should not be present at any establishment. Such behaviour is unacceptable and deserves to be called out edit: and the link they respond with is a 404 error. don't mistake it for them actually caring about their customer base. read more

I have been going to the Linton Blvd location for many years. TOday they lost a customer. I booked an appointment online for a signature cut and blowdry with a brush. After booking, I got an confirmation email telling me it would be $41. I go in and in the middle of my cut, the manager comes over and asks what kind of blowdry did I want. I told her what I booked online and she proceeded to tell me that kind of blowdry is with the fingers and it costs more with a brush. With a brush it went up to $57. When I go to pay it was $69. I was arguing with the manager about the false advertising on the website and that I had never paid that much for a Hair Cuttery location! Only positive side is the stylist was wonderful! She is much too good for that place. So...I'm not going back there anymore. I will find a honest place to go to in the future. read more
