VERY HAPPY with the cut/blow by David, he really listened to what I was trying to achieve with my cut, looked at a photo I had, made great suggestions and did a great job, wash, cut, blow in maybe 30 min. VERY UNHAPPY with the front desk woman who checked me out. When she asked David the charges for my services, he said $75, and the woman snippily reprimanded him and said "We don't charge less than $80 for a cut and blow." We looked at each other. I'm a frequent customer here when I head home to Florida. My unruly curls and the South Florida humidity aren't friends, but thanks to the professionals here my hair stays perfectly straight and frizz free. They weren't quite as busy during my last visit likely due to the pandemic. The good news is that it was always easy to get last minute appointments. Based on the Yelp reviews I booked an appointment with Michael at first, but he was running behind so they asked if I minded seeing Mindy instead. She did a great job so I stuck with her for the rest of my trip. The price is comparable to what I pay in Chicago (a pack of 10 blowouts is $285), but they have a special deal of $25 on Mondays and Tuesdays. $25 is well worth it not to have to deal with drying my own hair IMO...especially when it lasts several days thanks to Mindy. They also seem to be following all covid precautions here from masks to distancing to sanitizing. I've tried many different salons thru my years of living in and visiting Florida, but find myself coming back to this one every trip. read more

I enjoyed my experience with Renata today. My highlights look great, and so does my cut. Renata was professional, kind, and fun. My only pet peeve is that this is one of those salons that charges for a blow dry separately from the haircut ($25 Monday thru Thursday: more on weekends) is . They do offer a free cut with color, so it balances out, but I find that policy annoying at any salon I visit that has it. This was definitely a mistake because I went there I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and when I left and blew out my hair at home (it was pouring rain) I looked like Spongebob square pants. No blending, no contrast in color just one bleached mess. The stylist trimmed my hair but my hair is still so very dry/damaged from all the processing. All the pictures are posted- the one I took from pinterest that I wanted, my yellow disaster and what was fixed. i sent an appointment request as soon as I finished for the next day saying I was upset and wanted it fixed. Luckily the owner fixed it the next day, and did a deep conditioning free of charge. However Im not happy I had to go back to fix it. read more

BEWARE!!!! Lots of evil doings at this salon. The owner Michael is not a nice person. He messed up my hair and would NOT give me a refund... he told me to leave and that maybe another stylist could fix it. My experience was horrible, my girlfriend told me to go because she liked one of the stylists Vanessa, I actually Booked with her and when I arrived for my appointment, they said she wasn't available and I was with Michael. How could that even be?? I was almost forced to sit in his chair. He messed up my hair cut and made it look like nothing I wanted... he was actually arguing the look I wanted... I recently moved to here and I'm very picky when it comes to hair and nails etc. so I looked up reviews and needed a salon open on Sunday, and VIP popped up. I try to minimally look at reviews because everyone's experience is to each their own. When arriving, Lexi and Lisa were so attentive. The first thing that popped out to me was cleanliness; that is a major aspect for me because if it was filthy I would've just left. I came in for a single process and a haircut. Lisa really listened to what i was looking for in terms of a haircut. During the entire process, Lisa, Lexi and I had such great conversation. It made the whole process so much more enjoyable. Additionally in terms of pricing, I'm from New York so I'm used to paying $70 for a single and $55 for a hair cut. I was excited when the total only came to $100! The end result was fabulous. Great place for a blowout. Out of 4 visits, I have only had 1 I didn't like. They also give a terrific shampoo. New management is much friendlier and time- considerate. I have never waited more than 5 min since the recent change of ownership. ( I once waited 25 min for a scheduled appt with original owners). Price ranges $25 to $35 for a blowout. The place itself was very nice & fancy. Receptionist was very sweet and welcoming. I wasn't offered water or coffee like I usually do at most salons but my hair stylist (Lisa, I believe) was awesome and did a really good job. This was my first time here and decided to try it out due to the reviews. My only issue was the prices. I have almost shoulder length hair and went in for a full color and ended up getting a cut & blowout. I was told over the phone that color is 30 & cut and blowout was 55. I come in and find out my color for some reason was 65 even though my hair is very short and and that cut was "included" since I got color. Then my blow dry was 35. On there website it says that color is $50 and up so I wonder why my hair made it $65. I came all the way from delray for my first time and just thought it was a little too pricey when I could've gone somewhere else in delray for the first time and get a % off like I saw on yelp. But in all honesty, really good job done on my hair so it was worth it. I recommend this salon for people in the same area. They won't disappoint. read more

I needed a last minute root touch up and haircut, so I decided to visit this salon based on their Yelp reviews. The salon was clean and inviting. I was greeted immediately and taken to my station, but there I had to wait another 20 minutes for my hairdresser, who was running late. The wait was worth it. Lisa did a consultation with me to determine exactly what I needed. She matched my hair and got to work on the color. Throughout the job, she was very sociable and we had a nice conversation. Absolute worst experience I have had in my life. Basically I was there for 4 hours. While trying to enjoy my special day my stylist Ruben gave 2 hairs cuts and a blowout while I sat at one point in the shampoo chair for an hair. I cried while leaving my hair looked so bad. I did speak with a lady there whom offered no apologies but about a $20 savings off a correction service and $5off a hair that I asked for and never got. They responded to my review saying they tried everything even saying I declined a certain service. I never declined a service. I wet with EXACTLY what the stylist suggested When I asked him when he was going to do my actual hair cut he grabbed the back of the chair like he was exhausted and said "Girl!" like i was killing him. This place has amazing reviews, very nice when you get there, and easy to schedule appointments. I thought taking a chance updating my highlights after 9 months of neglecting them due to being pregnant. I took my maternity leave a couple days early to do some self care before having my first child and stated I want SUBTLE highlights matching my current ones that, even though very grown out, still look amazing due to how perfectly they were blended into my hair. Very fine pieces at various different levels so I won't have to rush back to for obvious root growth. What I got was the most heinous excuse for highlights I've ever seen. The OWNER of the salon did my hair. Maybe if I was in middle school in the 90's and wanted to show off that I got my hair done they would be acceptable. Chunky, mismatched, zebra stripped, and some on my root some a centimeter away. After spending the day crying, cancelling my maternity photos, and two consultations at different hair salons I'll be paying $200 minimum to have this fixed. Even the newbie at the salon I'm getting it fixed at was horrified they let me walk out the door looking like this. The salon offered to let me come back and have it "fixed". Are they out their mind thinking I'd trust anyone there anywhere near my hair again?? If you can't do it right the first time you have no business doing hair.
