They bring very thin "bread" it's almost like a pita chip with 3 dipping sauce. One is like minty chutney/ a tomato like salsa it's a little hot / the last sauce is like a sweet and sour oil all of them are very delicious!!! I ordered buttered shrimp with roti on the side and my friend got butter chicken it comes with basmati rice she ordered garlic Nan on the side. The flavor of the food here is amazing the service here is great the guys are very nice . For desert we got rice pudding it didn't look like it was going to be good but boy was I wrong it was some of the best rice pudding we had !!! Seating is somewhat limited, but we had no trouble finding a table. Every dish we tried was full of authentic flavor. My favorites were the beef stew, chicken curry, dhal curry, and the freshly made rolls and patties. They also had a small selection of Indian vada, which was a nice addition to the buffet. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the Staten Island area, Randi's is definitely worth a visit. We'll gladly stop by again the next time we're in the area.

Not knowing what type of a restaurant it is, I decided to stop in. What a pleasant surprise. It was a Turkish restaurant. There was a good amount of people in there, but it looked like I was the only "white boy." Everybody was very friendly, and the place was clean. I liked the atmosphere. I started with the baba ghanoush. I loved it. The flavor of the roasted eggplant was delicious. And the roasted flavor kept it from being too rich. It was creamy and delicious. I almost didn't have enough bread to put it on. And believe me, I was piling the bread high with that stuff. There was also a small bowl of marinated green olives on the side. I normally do not like green olives, but these were fantastic. The olive oil marinade kept them from being too bitter for me. For my main course, I had the Adana kebab. Ground lamb, red bell pepper, and paprika. I had a small, which was one kebab. It also came with a very nice marinated salad, and a decent size portion of rice, which was tender and had a good flavor to it. It also came with a red sauce and a tzatziki sauce.. the red sauce was too spicy for me, and the tzatziki I put some of it on the rice, and then the rest I dipped my kebab. The kebab wasn't spicy at all, and the red bell pepper, and the paprika gave it a great flavor, it was not gamey like lamb can be. It was also very tender. Everything was so good, I ended up finishing the entire dinner, and I was stuffed. I would've loved to try a Turkish coffee, but it was like 8 PM, and I didn't want to be up for the rest of the night... :). The price was reasonable. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because they add an automatic 18% gratuity to the check, and then there's also a spot down at the bottom for a second gratuity. That's why you need to read your check very carefully. If you don't notice the automatic gratuity, you might end up paying a double tip. I thought the automatic 18% gratuity was more than fair. This was a great place. They also do breakfast. I would like to come in and try breakfast sometime. Thank you.

I also noticed there was a bunch of food under our table, there was condensation marks on the table and they definitely didn't clean it after the last group before us. It all kind of skeeved me out but we stayed. We placed our food order. We never were offered water. I asked for a soda and they brought me just a can, I had to ask for a cup of ice and waters. The service was not overly attentive. They barely came over to us. I needed something so I had to walk up near the register to get their attention. A bunch of the workers were standing together it took one a minute to notice me. I got the chicken shish- some pieces of chicken were very chewy I couldn't eat them. Others were okay. I did enjoy the rice it came with. Ultimately, I just think for how empty it was we should've gotten a little bit better service.
