Yet we continued to watch numerous other parties get seated ahead of us. As the only white group waiting, it left us feeling like we were being treated differently. I can't say for certain why we were repeatedly passed over, but the experience made us feel unwelcome, especially after watching so many other groups be seated while we were continually told we were next. This is particularly frustrating because this isn't the first time I've felt this way at Market North End. I've continued to come back because the food is genuinely very good, but great food isn't enough to make up for feeling ignored and disrespected as a customer. This is consistent with all of the rumors we have heard about this restaurant being unfair to certain races. No one should have to wait an hour and a half while being repeatedly assured they're next, only to watch other parties be seated instead. For just $7.50, I was only able to eat half, and had the other half for lunch the next day. My friend had leftover chicken too, which I took to my mom in her senior living place the next day.
