The restaurant dining area gives you plenty of options. They have window hightop tables at the front of the dining room. They have booths and tables in the other areas of the dining room including a round booth perfect for a romantic dinner for two. The rear of the dining room has long tables for larger parties. The service was excellent from start to finish. We started with their delicious warm bread, garlic paste and hummus. Tip: do not each too much because you need room for your entrée. We catered a party for 50 and the food and service was impeccable. Asfaw and his crew prepared delicious food and packaged it securely. I went in for carry out today and when I got to my location and began to eat, this is what the bread looked like. I should have checked like I always do but I don't eat here often so I forgot. This restaurant is lovely. We had the whole place to ourselves on a Friday evening. Decor is pretty. Service was excellent. Food was very good. So many vegan options. All the servers knew what "vegan" means. The menu notates what is vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. So easy for everyone to order. We ordered so much food for our first visit. Tried lentil soup, baba, hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, and more. We had lots of leftovers. All the dishes in general were flavorful, generously portioned, and cooked just right. We've only ever ordered delivery and takeout so I don't know too much about seating or service but I know ordering is breeze and even when delivered or waiting to be picked up it's always fresh food and ready on time. The garlic sauce is very garlicky and addictive. Bring some Altoids...you're going to need it. Lol The prices are reasonable and portions are big. I always have leftovers for another meal. My favorite things order are the crushed lentil soup, fattoush Salad, Village Salad, hummus, and vegetarian ghallaba. The Falafel is pretty good too but a couple times it was very dry when I ordered it for carryout. Delicious fresh pressed juices and smoothies that are a fraction of the price that they would be at a juice bar in Birmingham. You can make your own vegetable or fruit combinations too. Complimentary bread was hard and cold. We went as a team, some of us has ordered Chicken Shawarma sandwiches- they are very dry and meat smelled old. Both times I've been here there's been a fruit fly situation. This time, the fruit flies were so bad, we had to cover our food as if we were eating outside in a park! The restaurant has a nice décor with a middle eastern vibe with a spacious area to host an event. We actually hosted my mom's 70th birthday there because the location was convenient for most people, their food is delicious, and this is one of the only venues that didn't charge a food and beverage minimum, nor a room rental fee, and allowed us to have separate billing. As an event planner, this means a lot to me! The staff was great to work with in every way, they allowed me to store my cake at their restaurant hours before the event started so that I could keep the cake as a surprise from the birthday "girl". Their event coordinator and other staff members assisted me with putting up a few simple decorations. They gave us complimentary plates of garlic for every 4 guests in our party.The staff was attentive and brought us everything we needed right away, and didn't make us feel rushed. They had no problem splitting up the bills which was great for a group of 30 people. Lastly, they were kind enough to give me and my sister a bottle of their olive oil as a gift to us, very nice gesture on their end!
