A gem in a very small town. I enjoyed so much my dinner. Great ambiance in a unique historic location. I had the chicken curry and it was delicious. Big portions so I had plenty of leftovers lol. I decided to try their Italian lemon cake and it was amazing. It melted in my mouth. My waitress was a bit slow but probably because she was taking care of a large group. Highly recommend. This is my favorite restaurant in Bradford, PA. The food is always very tasty, and if you want, it can also be very healthy. I always get the chicken tzatziki. Everything is cooked to perfection This restaurant is very historic. The reason it is called the option house is it because all the oil stock options east of the Mississippi were traded at one point in this building. It used to be crappy, but the place has been restored and renovated. It is awesome now. I think this restaurant 's food would rival any restaurant in the 6-7 countries around McKean, which includes New York State. read more

I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Kabob's recently with great service, great food, and a friendly atmosphere. I was told that this was one of the most popular restaurants in Bradford, and I can see why. At dinner, I ordered the prawn kabob which was really good. It came with basmati rice and pita bread, and was a generous portion. Our waiter was very friendly and he was very attentive to my table. Later the same week I placed a to-go order and decided to try one of their Italian options. I ordered the stuffed shells, which was equally as delicious. This was my 2nd visit - stopped by while driving thru the area a few years ago and loved it, so we made it a point to eat here again after visiting the Zippo Museum. The restaurant is housed in a very interesting historic building & a lot of the original atmosphere remains. But we're here to eat - and eat you will! ...and like it! We stopped in probably around 4pm so no worries about waiting & we were immediately seated. Everyone on staff was friendly - especially our waiter. As with our previous visit, the wait time for our food was reasonable & both entrees were fantastic! As a matter of fact, I may have ordered the same item as my previous visit (Main Street Chicken) - LOVED it! Girlfriend went the Curry route & loved hers as well! Two for Two here @ Kabob's! Next time In Bradford it's a pretty safe bet we'll go for 3! read more

We were completely surprised by this establishment. Expecting a typical kabob place, I couldn't figure out what was going on with the online menu. What was up with the multi-regional fare? In addition to kabobs, there's listed souvlaki, curry, Italian pastas, and burger. Entering through the unassuming doors, I was further perplexed. We walked into the foyer of a grand club rich with polished, dark woods and sparkling chandeliers. Originally planning to get takeout and then deciding we needed to stay, I immediately felt underdressed in my leggings and oofoo sandals. The other patrons were in casual Tshirts and jeans, but the place itself invited elegance. After being seated, we got to read about the history of the option house and Chef Icky with his international food offerings. The food was good too! The chicken souvlaki pulled apart and played well with the rest of plate's offerings of fresh salad, rice (with funugreek?), and tzatziki sauce. The curry chicken was richly flavorful and spicy while the pita was gloriously soft!! Kabobs at The Option House was an amazing surprise on our road trip. This place is great. It was perfect for lunch. I expected it to be stuffy and prudish but it was the opposite. The lunch menu was great and so was the prices. The service was excellent. The place had a great early 1900's vibe. If it wasn't so far away, I would definitely do dinner there some time. I had the steak kabobs, the streak was cooked perfectly medium rare like I ordered. I love Greek food, so when we got to our hotel and searched for food options nearby this place stuck out to me, not only for the type of cuisine but for the many positive reviews! Boy was I glad I stopped by, we really enjoyed our visit! The building is gorgeous!! Lovingly restored, you feel like you are stepping back in time, both from outside and inside this establishment. The service further solidified our enjoyment. The staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food, and about local things to do. I got the chicken souvlaki and enjoyed it a lot. I can't say that I would call it the best Greek food I ever had, but it was good and flavorful for the most part. The rice was very bland. The menu includes a wide variety, not just Greek, but Indian and other dishes as well. Chef Sheikh seems to bring a variety of different flavors together. We were passing Bradford but as I looked at this place online I made up my mind and had my driver turn around. They had so many options! All the food was good. I had chicken tikka which was tasty, spicy but a little different from your traditional take, still good. The chicken souvlaki was ok, little bland but just fine for a picky eater. The tandoori chicken was my fave; had the smoky oven flavor you'd expect. Someone ordered a NY strip steak, the char marks were perfect but the char taste was a little too strong but was cooked as asked. The mash that came with it was homemade perfection, veggies were crisp and tasty. All 3 chicken dishes came with a generous portion of perfectly cooked cumin seed basmati rice that beat some of these Indian cooks out here lol. The waitress was very kind and answered whatever questions we had as thoroughly as she could and with a smile. It's the ambience and interior decor that really got me. For my husband's "29th" birthday, we had dinner at Kabob's. We were staying in Bradford for a weekend getaway, and it was our first time visiting the restaurant. The space itself is just beautiful. It has a ton of historical panache, with all of the seasoned wood, sparkling chandeliers, and original tiles. Our waitress, who was also our bartender, was a peach. She was sweet as can be, and mixed a hell of a drink! My Cosmo and my husband's Manhattan were both on point, and STIFF. :-D For dinner, my husband went with the butter chicken special. I decided to go with the restaurant's namesake, and ordered the vegetable kabobs. My husband was pleased with his meal. The chicken was served in a generous cauldron-bowl, and was creamy and flavorful. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with my dinner. The vegetable kabob was every-other-vegetable-onions. And like a thick chunk of onion, times five. So the kabob was by far mostly just thick chunks of onion. And I am an onion lover, but this was too much. It may have been okay if the entrée wasn't served with a mere measly half of a pita, to be able to wrap the onions in something. I left about half of them behind. That is unfortunate, especially since the dish was $17.95, but the quality wasn't there. I'd go three-stars on this review for my lackluster kabob at Kabob's of all places, but our fantastic waitress, excellent drinks, and my generally happy husband has me moved enough to round up to four. Plus our waitress caught wind that it was my husband's birthday, and offered him a free dessert. He had a slice of butterscotch cheesecake that was just divine! As a vegetarian, I was hoping for a better vegetable kabob at Kabob's, but the overall experience in this charming space was still a pretty good one. We'd eat here again, but I'll try a different less-onion'y vegetarian option on the menu next time. read more

Personally, I believe this is the best place to eat in town. I always stick to the Tandoori Chicken Kabob and it keeps me coming back time after time. This dish is served with pita bread, jasmine rice, Greek salad and the Kabob. Everything is always cooked and served perfectly. A diamond in the rough!! My honey took me here for a post Valentine's date and it was nothing short of fabulous. It's a lovely historic building with a romantic feel. You will want to make reservations if you want a table, we sat at the bar which was quite enjoyable as well. Bae had the chicken curry and it was fresh and delicious. I had a filet with shrimp. This is a really quaint restaurant. It's on the first floor of an old hotel that has a lot of character. The service was great...the lady serving our table was friendly and ensured that all of our needs were met. I ordered the chicken souvlaki, and it was tasty. The dish not only came with the chicken but also with a side of tzatziki sauce, salad, pita and basmati rice. The chicken was well flavored but was even more delicious after dipping the pieces into some hot sauce (I'm addicted to spicy). The pita was fresh and had a slight crispiness to it, and the rice was perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed my experience here. I was also told by my co-worker that the kabobs are pretty good as well.
