It's a really cool spot that I've frequented with their variety of restaurants. This particular day I wanted to take a power walk and enjoy a protein packed breakfast. So I headed down to the Americano cafe. It was my first time visiting This restaurant and I couldn't understand why?? lol. This place has such a cool laid back vibe. Reminded me of a cafe in Puerto Rico in isla verde. There are comfy chairs to sit and perhaps do some flex work. It has an outdoor and indoor area. And the food was really good. I had the bacon and eggs with avocado and small salad on the side. I also had the macha lata lata. So good. I will for sure be back to chill and grab a wrap! You should too!!

I'd expect to see this bookstore cafe in somewhere like in Ogunquit, Burlington, Bar Harbor, Austin, or Asheville? Super cute place with an interesting, eclectic selection of used books. They have a little coffee shop/cafe at the front - and there's an area where they have talks and live music on certain days. The people who work there are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I think there's a cute little outdoor area, but it was closed last time I visited. Hope to drop by here next time I'm in Staten Island!

One of the servers let me know they didn't have any apple turnovers, so they gave me an apple puff pastry. Imagine my surprise when I got to my seat to find that it was completely hollow, not a single apple in sight! So I went back to the counter to let them know. The servers were very kind and took pictures to let their boss know, and gave me an apple fritter instead. I guess third times the charm, because that was very tasty. We stayed at our table for a while, and it got very busy. Some of my friends waited a long time for their food to be ready, but everything did taste good. I'll probably go back and hopefully have a better experience with ordering my food, because I really did enjoy the energy and everything I tried.

They had a lot of cream inside and outside. They were a bit bigger than normal and to me, looked more like cakes than croissants. I got the chocolate and strawberry flavors (my kids tried them and liked them - I couldn't, gluten allergy:( ). The kids couldn't finish them and just had half. The cost of a croissant- close to $10 each! The place was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and I liked that Turkish tea gets served on a tiny Persian rug. With that said, I can't get past the price tag. I just think it is way too expensive for what it is.
