Finally made it to Kaffe House after hearing about it for quite some time. The location is a bit off the beaten path from downtown Saratoga, but they have a drive through window and a decent sized parking lot for easy in/out access. It's in a building with other businesses, so follow the signs if entering from the rear parking lot. Entrance from the outside is directly into the "Kaffee". I'm assuming a lot of the business here comes from the large medical building just down the road (which is where I had been), Empire State College and the many new apartments nearby. The woman behind the counter with the fabulous German accent was really friendly and helpful. We happened to go at an off time, so it wasn't too busy yet. I was leaning towards a carb-laden bagel sandwich, but changed my mind to the bowl of the vegan carrot ginger soup. (Soup specials change daily) Absolutely delicious! Just the right balance of ginger with a creaminess that left me full and satisfied. The spinach quiche got solid reviews. The iced teas were a bit smaller than I expected...and since we were staying for our meal, perhaps a regular glass (instead of plastic) would make more sense. There's lots of seating and there's a nice, chill vibe in there. Food was served fresh and piping hot. Baked goods looked great. Definitely recommend.

A warm and inviting coffee shop. Pastries and treats tend to lean German reflecting the owners heritage.

The selections here are always top notch. Even a regular cup of coffee tastes fresh and hits the spot at 11am. Expect prices slightly higher than any fast food chain. I'm happy to as the quality is excellent. Fresh homemade bread for an egg sandwich was a welcomed surprise. I appreciate the fresh fruit/veggies provided on the side added to my sandwich order. They have some gluten free options, as well as a no sugar added cookie available. The pastries are amazing too. They provide a quieter atmosphere than any of the cafes on Broadway which is refreshing as well.

I went to this place to grab coffee with my husband since we didn't want to go near Broadway In Saratoga. The women behind the counter was very friendly and answered all of our questions regarding some of the pastries. They all looked amazing! We sat down to enjoy our coffee and pastries and realized they were very delicious! German pastries! Apple strudel and an apple turn over. I could have ate sooo many more. We decided that since everything was so good that maybe we should try a bagel. My husband went to order the bagel and the young man helped him and asked if we needed a refill on our coffee. The bagel was tasty, but pretty light. Definitely not like ny style bagels. So if you are picky and want NY style bagels, this is not the place for you. I would definitely go back to this place am for the delicious pastries. I thought about taking some to go, to have for tomorrow's breakfast. I'm kicking myself that I didn't do it!

Egg salad sandwich on homemade rye. Bratwurst & sauerkraut on a hoagie.

We sought out this restaurant looking for something off the main stretch of Saratoga Springs to get a good cup of coffee and a bite to eat. What a nice surprise! The lunch menu offered daily soup selections, sandwiches, salads and pastries. Our choice quickly included bratwurst and potato soup after realizing the restaurant's German-based selections. In addition, an egg salad sandwich. The bratwurst and sauerkraut hoagie was the best! The potato soup was delicious. The egg salad sandwich on homemade rye bread was quite light and full of flavor. The owner and staff helped walk us through the menu options. They were quite pleasant. The venue is tucked on the first floor of a business/apartment building. Parking in the back. I believe there is also a drive through. Yummy!

This place is amazing. The people here are incredibly nice too!'

This place was wonderful during the period of time I had no service for "virtual learning". They went above and beyond to help and served great food and edible straws!

We didn't have to wait long. I think maybe like 10 minutes. It's a small quaint restaurant on Phila Street not far off of Broadway. We walked here from our hotel (Hilton) as parking anywhere/everywhere in Saratoga can be a challenge. There is street parking right in front of Sweet Mimi's but it'll probably be taken so you should probably just walk. And you'll appreciate the walk to help burn off a few calories of Sweet Mimi's delicious offerings. (And there are plenty to partake in.) We enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Mediterranean Omelette. We did not leave disappointed. In fact, our tastebuds and tummies were so happy with our choices. The omelette actually came with the same challah bread that the french toast was made from. If I lived closer, I'd be buying that challah bread every week. It's so freakin' good! The french toast is HUGE! Really... you should share it. The several bites I took were incredibly satisfying. The cinnamon was just right. And because it was already sweet... we opted to forgo the syrup. The french toast also came with a bunch of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!! The med omelette was filled with sausage, spinach and tomatoes. I loved every bite. I don't know when we'll be back tin Saratoga... but I will definitely be coming back to Sweet Mimi's when I do.

Seating is crowded, service--while overall nice--was rude when it came to the server we got. She may have been having a bad day, but definitely ended up taking it out on us. Ended up making us feel very unwelcome to the point we decided it was better to try and just get going. The granola was stale alongside the underripe blackberries in the parfait we'd ordered. Had an eye for something sweetly comforting and the food just doesn't match up. Overall, for the wait it has, it's not worth the mediocre food inside. Also, unrelated, but not exactly a place to stop by, get some coffee, and read as you'd maybe look for in a café. So if that's what you're looking for, I'd recommend elsewhere.

I love when local eateries are well-loved because they deserve it. 9 Miles East Farm certainly does! A lot of the folks who came in for dinner wanted to sit on the terrace to bask in the last couple of hours of sun, but being from Florida I get overdosed with that and sat inside. I'm glad I did, the playlist reminded me of a Sunday picnic without being either. However, the atmosphere felt like that, even indoors. The owner was super personable, and the server was just the right amount of attentive. I ordered the chicken piri piri, and it presented beautifully. I felt comforted by the food. The tender grilled chicken parted from the bone with a twist of my fork and the mashed sweet potato was a great partner to the savory, citrusy, and slightly spicy piri piri. Im not even a chicken thigh person, but this dish changed me. I actually felt tended to and taken care of by the food! Does that even make sense??? It did when I was eating because that's how I felt. And the crazy thing is, I've been here once before. I loved what I ate, but it didn't feel like this. It's been a rough couple of months, but after this meal and listening to the carefree, but intentional music, it lit up my mood and my spirit. This will definitely be one of my go-to's when I visit Saratoga Springs, and I highly recommend 9 Miles East Farm to anyone. The waitress never came to our table, walked by a few times, no refresh on coffee, no status of obviously delayed food, nothing. I flagged her down and believe it or not I was met with attitude. She said she would check the status. She then stood at her station, 10 minutes pass, she is walking by heading to the patio, I say to her what is status, she says she hasn't checked yet. I ask for the manager. She never returned to our table for the remainder of the service. The most arrogant untrained and unprofessional server I have ever dealt with, and that is saying a lot. My daughter had to leave before the food was served, she and the baby left. Now let's get to the food. Maybe sat under some lamps, overcooked, dry, no flavor. The short rib, egg and potato dish was not fit to be served. Grilled cheese rated a 2, Comptons, a diner across the street is ten times better. Manager, tried to be professional and dropped off a gift card . $25 for a 115 dollar tab one hour plus wait for terrible food and bad attitude. I left the gift card for the waitress. I feel like I should have done more to make it right. I do not get the positve reviews. I ate here twice, both meals were terrible. I hope they read this review then reassign the server to cleaning and dishwashing and maybe provide some training to the staff. This frequent Saratoga local will not go back. A problem in SS is our success allows for bad food and terrible service providers to stay in business.
