We stopped here on our road trip. The reviews online were raving, so were stoked to check it out. We split a burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The burger was quite good; I loved the grilled onions on top. The fries that came with it were good as well! The fried chicken sandwich was decent for some bites, but dry and flat for others. I definitely would have preferred if they made it with chicken thighs instead of breast, as parts of it fell flat. I wish the fried chicken sandwich breading had more flavor as well; something just felt missing from it. Overall missing a "wow" factor, but not a bad spot by any means

Sooo decided last min to take a trip to Toga..cause what else would one do on our rare dry, hot day!! Did some shopping, walked and worked up an appetite! The spot we originally chose to eat was closed!! However, I remember the Amazing butternut mac and cheese ( can't wait for this fall dish!) from Comfort Kitchen, so we decided to try there burgers! We got the Comfort burger and O.M.G....delish! The young lady greeted us warmly and took our order...we choose a seat and waited for our meal! The burgers and fries came hot, fresh and goood! The pickles fresh, the straw fries had crisp and a little chew of a freshly made straw fries! The House Spritz was ! 10/10 If you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for?! Sorry took a few bites before I remembered to take pics!

Comfort burger was great. Patties cooked nicely and the pickle adds a great inflection point to the flavor combination. Fries were perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper.

We came in today, on Easter. I was hoping to find somewhere that wasn't too busy and would give us a nice lunch- we were pleasantly surprised! Everything we ate was fresh and tasted homemade. The server was friendly. 5 stars from us!

Bright spot, friendly service, and quite possibly the greatest grilled sandwich I've had.... Ham & cheddar grilled with hatch chiles on sourdough, say WhAaT. Complimented with a lovely fresh tomato soup. Ready for that ‍tournament now! Thank you

A good friend of mine and myself stumbled upon this gem of a place walking passed and catching a delicious whiff of the french fries. We had to go back and we are sure glad we did! This food was so good and simply done! Mila was our waitress and was on point with everything and was so kind! We will definitely be returning soon!

Great food (healthy, delicious) in a semi hidden location. Indoor and outdoor seating. This is a place I always enjoy eating in when I'm in Saratoga!

We were hungry, and a quick Yelp search led us here. It was a beautiful day so we elected to eat outside. The courtyard is an attractive space. A canopy of umbrellas dangle from above giving a whimsical yet effective cover from the sun. The menu is rather extensive and offers a nice variety. I ordered the Druthers Smash Burger and my wife ordered the Braised Short Rib French Dip. While we waited for the food our waitress brought out complimentary homemade potato chips along with a dill dipping sauce. The chips were light, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The dipping sauce was tasty. The burger and french dip were excellent. They have a nice variety of beers to choose from. I was curious about Uncurious. It is a New England style IPA and after trying it, I declared it the best beer in Saratoga Springs! My wife had D-light. And I honestly think it is the best light beer I've ever had! Service was friendly and professional. Turns out our waitress shares my wife's occupation (teacher). They had a nice conversation. She was super friendly. If you ever find yourself in Saratoga Springs I highly recommend Druthers Brewing.

After a long day of moving my kid into college, we went to Hattie's for dinner. Convenient public garage less than a block away. $2/hr. The decor won me over as we walked in - front room felt very much like restaurants in NOLA. Walking through the back room was even better with Spanish moss draping everywhere. It might have been over the top, but it felt great. We sat outdoors in the alley which was far more charming than 'alley denotes. Served by Brian, we were taken care of like regulars. The food was great, truly. We had gumbo and jambalaya which were out of this world. Definitely heavy on the heat, but we loved both dishes. Both came out in a hot cast iron skillet which kept the food hot for quite awhile, which is a very nice touch. Dessert was similarly satisfying. We had pecan pie and banana pudding. While the pudding was good, I'll be thinking of that pecan pie for a long time - it was just perfect. I will be recommending Hattie's to my parents who know good Louisiana cuisine, and we will definitely be back.

We had 7:30 PM reservations on a Thursday and were seated immediately. The atmosphere wasn't quite my style. The tile flooring felt a bit busy, and the seating is very simple with hard-back chairs. I think the space could benefit from a few cozier touches to match the quality of the food. That said, it was bustling and vibrant. The beverage program was great. We enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir, and I was impressed by the beer selection, which featured a lot of local breweries rather than the typical mainstream options. For starters, the French onion dip was phenomenal and is an absolute must-order. The Parker rolls were also highly recommended by our server and lived up to the hype. The bread is incredibly fluffy with just a hint of sweetness. For dinner, I had the crab spaghetti with squid ink, which was delicious and loaded with lump crab. It does have a briny, seafood-forward flavor, so it's best suited for those who enjoy that profile. The burger was a hit with the men at the table, although my fiancé wasn't a huge fan of the wood-fired ketchup, which has a distinct smoky flavor. We also tried the mushroom lasagna. Despite the name, it's not traditional lasagna noodles layered with mushrooms. Instead, mushrooms act as the layers. It wasn't what we expected, but it was still excellent. Overall, the food and service were outstanding, and I'd highly recommend Seneca. A few tweaks to the atmosphere could make it even better, but the quality coming out of that kitchen makes it a standout dining spot in Saratoga.

The meats were Serrano Ham (dry cured Spanish ham) and Speck Ham (dry cured and lightly smoked Italian ham). OMG. Delicious. And the portions were on the hearty size. For a main I had the Mussels (garlic, butter, white wine, chili and fennel pollen). Another OMG. It was divine, and we had bread to soak up that wonderful sauce. We also had the Lobster Pizza (lobster, tomato cream, spinach, leeks, roasted cherry tomatoes, ricotta and grana padano). This was only ok. Not enough lobster, in my opinion. The Tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly, the atmosphere was elegant without feeling stuffy, and the service was attentive throughout the evening. It was the kind of dinner that creates lasting memories, and for that, we are grateful. That said, I continue to struggle with the restaurant's à la carte pricing model. I fully understand that many high-end steakhouses operate this way, but I have never quite embraced the concept. Our Tomahawk steak cost $175 and arrived without a single side dish. The fries and broccolini sides you see here were both extra charges. To be clear, this is not a complaint about the quality of the food or the overall cost of the evening. We knew we were choosing a fine dining experience and were happy to pay for it. My concern is more philosophical. When a guest orders a premium steak, I believe a complete meal should accompany it, with opportunities to upgrade or substitute sides if desired. That approach would feel more hospitable and customer-friendly while still allowing the restaurant to offer customization and premium add-ons. None of this diminished what was otherwise a terrific evening, and I would gladly return. I simply think the dining experience would feel even more complete if the restaurant reconsidered the increasingly common practice of charging separately for every component of the meal. In short: excellent food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, memorable evening--just a pricing philosophy that I personally find difficult to embrace.

There is street parking right in front of Sweet Mimi's but it'll probably be taken so you should probably just walk. And you'll appreciate the walk to help burn off a few calories of Sweet Mimi's delicious offerings. (And there are plenty to partake in.) We enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Mediterranean Omelette. We did not leave disappointed. In fact, our tastebuds and tummies were so happy with our choices. The omelette actually came with the same challah bread that the french toast was made from. If I lived closer, I'd be buying that challah bread every week. It's so freakin' good! The french toast is HUGE! Really... you should share it. The several bites I took were incredibly satisfying. The cinnamon was just right. And because it was already sweet... we opted to forgo the syrup. The french toast also came with a bunch of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!! The med omelette was filled with sausage, spinach and tomatoes. I loved every bite. I don't know when we'll be back tin Saratoga... but I will definitely be coming back to Sweet Mimi's when I do.
