We stopped here on our road trip. The reviews online were raving, so were stoked to check it out. We split a burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The burger was quite good; I loved the grilled onions on top. The fries that came with it were good as well! The fried chicken sandwich was decent for some bites, but dry and flat for others. I definitely would have preferred if they made it with chicken thighs instead of breast, as parts of it fell flat. I wish the fried chicken sandwich breading had more flavor as well; something just felt missing from it. Overall missing a "wow" factor, but not a bad spot by any means

Sooo decided last min to take a trip to Toga..cause what else would one do on our rare dry, hot day!! Did some shopping, walked and worked up an appetite! The spot we originally chose to eat was closed!! However, I remember the Amazing butternut mac and cheese ( can't wait for this fall dish!) from Comfort Kitchen, so we decided to try there burgers! We got the Comfort burger and O.M.G....delish! The young lady greeted us warmly and took our order...we choose a seat and waited for our meal! The burgers and fries came hot, fresh and goood! The pickles fresh, the straw fries had crisp and a little chew of a freshly made straw fries! The House Spritz was ! 10/10 If you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for?! Sorry took a few bites before I remembered to take pics!

Comfort burger was great. Patties cooked nicely and the pickle adds a great inflection point to the flavor combination. Fries were perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper.

We came in today, on Easter. I was hoping to find somewhere that wasn't too busy and would give us a nice lunch- we were pleasantly surprised! Everything we ate was fresh and tasted homemade. The server was friendly. 5 stars from us!

Bright spot, friendly service, and quite possibly the greatest grilled sandwich I've had.... Ham & cheddar grilled with hatch chiles on sourdough, say WhAaT. Complimented with a lovely fresh tomato soup. Ready for that ‍tournament now! Thank you

A good friend of mine and myself stumbled upon this gem of a place walking passed and catching a delicious whiff of the french fries. We had to go back and we are sure glad we did! This food was so good and simply done! Mila was our waitress and was on point with everything and was so kind! We will definitely be returning soon!

Great food (healthy, delicious) in a semi hidden location. Indoor and outdoor seating. This is a place I always enjoy eating in when I'm in Saratoga!

We didn't have to wait long. I think maybe like 10 minutes. It's a small quaint restaurant on Phila Street not far off of Broadway. We walked here from our hotel (Hilton) as parking anywhere/everywhere in Saratoga can be a challenge. There is street parking right in front of Sweet Mimi's but it'll probably be taken so you should probably just walk. And you'll appreciate the walk to help burn off a few calories of Sweet Mimi's delicious offerings. (And there are plenty to partake in.) We enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Mediterranean Omelette. We did not leave disappointed. In fact, our tastebuds and tummies were so happy with our choices. The omelette actually came with the same challah bread that the french toast was made from. If I lived closer, I'd be buying that challah bread every week. It's so freakin' good! The french toast is HUGE! Really... you should share it. The several bites I took were incredibly satisfying. The cinnamon was just right. And because it was already sweet... we opted to forgo the syrup. The french toast also came with a bunch of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!! The med omelette was filled with sausage, spinach and tomatoes. I loved every bite. I don't know when we'll be back tin Saratoga... but I will definitely be coming back to Sweet Mimi's when I do.

I am not sure who I spoke to but the woman on the line did not sound the friendliest. She asked if I had her on speaker and I replied yes. I was on the road driving so I was not about to hold my phone. I then pulled over so she could hear me better. When I arrived it was busy. Payment was promptly collected from me and I had to wait an additional half an hour. When I got my margarita pie home, I found the sourdough crust to be dry as well as burnt. Also it lacked a good amount of cheese and the sauce was very sour. Now mind you I have had numerous pies from here and have tried most varieties from their seasonal offerings as well as the always available ones and they were all delish. You can imagine my surprise as I am not one to complain about cost as I know quality when I see it. I called and a woman answered saying this is Mary and I asked if I had 9 Miles East and she said no, you have the wrong number. So I called again, this time asking for the manager. The woman on the other end says this is Mary and listened to what I had to say about my margarita pie. She promptly apologized and said it was a busy night and she did not check the pizza as it was boxed. She then offered a refund which I appreciated and took my card number and phone number telling me she would text when she processed the refund. Two days later and still no follow up. I had errands to run, so I stopped in and spoke to Gordon at the front counter. He again apologized and told me Mary who I spoke to was one of the owners. I was not very happy to hear that customer service here is completely lacking. He then asked what he could do to make it up and gave me a refund on the spot. It made me unhappy to have to go in person and explain what happened once more. I have been a long time customer of 9 Miles East and have even subscribed to their home delivery and I mostly enjoyed patronizing them regularly as I really do like their food. However this experience has left me sad that I will have to move on. Good food and service really does go hand in hand.

The staff welcomed us in, and although they wouldn't let us sit outside (they were hoping for a four-top that never came), they treated us well. I was in the mood for a burger, and our server was effusive about the bacon jam on the Broadway Burger. When I was more into the classic Merc burger, he let me add bacon jam to that one, and I'm pretty sure they didn't even upcharge us for it. In any case, it was a great burger. A double patty smash with an excellent bun, plenty of cheese, and comeback sauce which I've never been sad about. They offer tater tots if you'd prefer them to fries, and I quite enjoyed them. In his list of recommendations, our server did not mention the baby kale caesar salad, but my wife was already set on it. It's a universal truth that places are not known for their salads, and The Merc is no exception. It was fine, I guess. It's the price my wife pays for occasionally ordering healthy, and she deserves everything she got. Unfortunately, she also wanted half of my burger, so I had to suffer as well. #marriage

After a long day of moving my kid into college, we went to Hattie's for dinner. Convenient public garage less than a block away. $2/hr. The decor won me over as we walked in - front room felt very much like restaurants in NOLA. Walking through the back room was even better with Spanish moss draping everywhere. It might have been over the top, but it felt great. We sat outdoors in the alley which was far more charming than 'alley denotes. Served by Brian, we were taken care of like regulars. The food was great, truly. We had gumbo and jambalaya which were out of this world. Definitely heavy on the heat, but we loved both dishes. Both came out in a hot cast iron skillet which kept the food hot for quite awhile, which is a very nice touch. Dessert was similarly satisfying. We had pecan pie and banana pudding. While the pudding was good, I'll be thinking of that pecan pie for a long time - it was just perfect. This is a tragedy. And that is not a word I use lightly either…read more What kind of person buys a gem like Mrs. London's and doesn't take the time to learn the recipes, master the craft, and maintain the standards of what was once arguably the best boulangerie and patisserie in America? Seriously, there is someone here to blame. What is their name? I want to know. Sure, it's not a civil or criminal offense. But it's a crime against food. It's a crime against the people of Saratoga Springs. And it's just plane offensive. I regret if anyone was driven to try Mrs. London's based on my previous glowing reviews. I am so sorry. I had no idea. But I was just there this morning. I gazed into the pastry case at the croissants, and my heart sank. I felt sick. The croissants looked like something you would see in an airport. I think the croissants at Costco might be better. These were flat, flabby, and pale things. Far from the perfect, golden, flaky, structured, glistening beauties of the past. And this isn't about fond recollections. I have receipts. Photos from the past and pictures of the present. It's night and day. If the new owners aren't going to preserve Mrs. London's food, they should have the decency to put someone else's name on the joint. I too asked about the breads, and was told "their baker retired". Fortunately, Michael London taught other people to bake amazing artisan bread, and his legacy lives on elsewhere. Unfortunately, nobody at the shop bearing his name bothered to pick up the torch. What a shame. It is so sad. I am literally heart broken. This was one of my favorite bakeries in the country. I went out of my way to make a special stop in my limited time passing through the region. But I suppose nothing lasts forever, and this is a valuable reminder of that unfortunate fact. My days visiting Mrs. London's are over. I can no longer recommend it in good conscience. Perhaps the hot chocolate is still good, and the decor is still lovely. However, if you look closely at the glowing reviews, they all point back to a time that has now sadly passed.
