After deciding on my floors at Lowe's (LVP) I was told that this company would be contacting me within a day or two. However after multiple no-responses requiring follow-up after follow-up, a tech came out to measure my floors. The guy was polite and did his work, but after that they never contacted me again. I went into Lowe's and Lowe's reached out to them directly. A week later, still no follow up. I went back to Lowe's and ended up just buying the flooring myself. May be returning it if I can't find anyone to install it. Worst experience with a contractor to date.

Short story-…read moreI was at a local lumber yard, and I got out of my truck to load a bag of insulation. two young men from Bartz were loading some materials into their truck. As I walked to the material I needed to load, one of the young men walked over to me and asked if I needed help. I'm sporting a cane post knee surgery. The young man loaded my item into my truck. At this point, both introduced themselves. I thanked them, and then I told them I had been purchasing flooring from Bartz for 40 years. they thanked me for being a loyal customer. We need more young people like this!! I will continue to do business with Bartz and refer my friends to them!!

My PM had to follow up with them weeks later, then they scheduled an install date. Weeks later on install day, the company EMAILED (not even a phone call) our PM saying that oops, sorry, they forgot to order the carpet. We are hosting a major event at our house and told them it has to be in no later than a week. They said they would put us first on the new install day. then morning of, call and say they will be there between 12 and 2. As of 2:30, still have not shown up. Called and spoke to manager, he was totally unremorseful, and said they would be there by 3pm. Again, pushing my subcontractors back another day because now they can't finish painting touch ups until tomorrow, date of our big party. Very stressful and unhappy with the experience working with this company, and I'm not sure they will be the preferred vendor of our Contractor going forward. Be warned if you value your time and schedule.
