To complicate things, I live out of state and was remodeling two bathrooms and a kitchen, and they were complete gut-jobs. She was calm, professional and helpful every step of the way, and her expertise and guidance were invaluable. She has a great sense of style and helped me choose countertops my husband and I love! I can't recommend her enough. She will make your very stressful renovation a 'walk in the park.'

By the time we installed our cabinets, she had left the company. Her replacements were not as helpful as she had been. We chose slow-close upper cabinets, including corner cabinets. When they arrived we noticed we only had slow-close hinges for one of our corner cabinets (we ordered two). When we contacted them for another set of slow-close hardware, they claimed corner cabinets do not come with the slow-close option. That didn't make sense considering we already had one slow-close corner cabinet installed. After a month of dealing with them, we were finally sent the correct hardware for the second corner cabinet, but it arrived looking dingy and used. That's when we were told that the warehouse they used doesn't actually keep those cabinets in stock and basically told we should feel lucky for the hardware we did receive. We cleaned it up a bit and since it's on the inside, it's not noticeable, but we definitely won't use this company again. We wish we still had Karen's contact information because we are getting ready to tackle the remodel of two bathrooms.

She was on top of our every question. The calendar of months she generated for us was spot on. They don't work every day straight at the project, but they stayed with the calendar. We had a glitch regarding their misunderstanding our preference with some duct work during the project, but it was resolved. Both the kitchen and mudroom look really, really good, and the work was very neatly done. The guys they used to do our natural stone tile backsplash were excellent with the painstaking job of laying out the pattern, carefully considering each individual piece. After the project was finished, Century returned to resolve a problem we had with two of the recessed lights. It was extremely convenient having ONE company handle the whole project. Project management was simplified greatly. Some caveats: Be CLEAR with them on what you want and don't want done; it's YOUR house. Do your research ahead of time in terms of what colors, cabinet style, and look you want. They will do it in whatever colors, styles, etc. that YOU want. You just tell them what you want. Go with the highest quality cabinets they carry; we had to do so and even add many upgrades just to get what some other places would consider standard. Enjoy! The value of your house will go up!

I would highly recommend Century Kitchens and Bath for any of your remodel needs.

The scope of the project grew as we realized that we needed more things done in the house before we could move in, which included: installing several interior and exterior doors, removing and reinstalling a built-in set of drawers, installing and fixing flooring, removing a built-in wet bar in the basement, doing some work in a bathroom so we could put in a new vanity and bathtub, removing a wall between two rooms so one could be turned into a walk-in closet, making a small alcove into a closet, stripping down a door to be refinished, making shelf supports for our long pantry shelves so they don't bow from the weight, and helping fix a basement leak that was due to the prior owner not properly fastening his deck to the foundation. I am sure there some things I am forgetting, but the bottom line is that Patrick and Chris were always up to doing what we needed done. They were on time, professional, friendly and easy to work with. Patrick was great about providing quotes for all of the work, and had very reasonable prices. In addition, when I needed a contractor for something that he couldn't do, he knew someone in the area he could recommend, and those recommendations (of which there were several for: roofing, plumbing and tile work) worked out great. My wife and I appreciate the great work that Patrick and Chris did, and would highly recommend them for any type of construction project - whether it's big or small.

We consulted multiple companies to bring ideas, design recommendations, and experience to help us make an informed decision. Master's Kitchen and Bath were the last company we spoke with, and I am glad we did. Having an older home leads to a lot of questions and uncertainty. All of the concerns and what if's (which lead to a lot of added unforeseen expenses) were addressed with clarity, confidence, and the reassurance we were looking for. From the first consultation, design process, and throughout the remodel, we felt we made the right decision to hire Master's. Working with everyone at Master's Kitchen and Bath was a great experience. The project manager listened to our vision, and he was able to come up with a clear plan on how to make it happen. The designer was very in tune with our style preferences and provided us with a lot of great options, a lot of which we had never considered. The entire crew that do everything from demo, electrical, plumbing, and installation were absolutely amazing. True craftsman who take pride in every detail. We are extremely happy with how our home turned out, and would 100% hire Master's to work in our home again.

That, along with a few other cautions, set our expectations before starting our project with Kitchen & Baths Unlimited. For my wife and me, however, the experience turned out very differently. We cannot say enough great things about Nancy (design), Owen (project management) and the entire team that meticulously executed the remodel. While I work from home and my wife commutes downtown, we decided to move forward with gutting and remodeling the vintage kitchen in our 100-year-old farmhouse in Evanston--and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Yes, the demolition phase was a bit loud, as expected. But after that, the usual construction noise--hammering and drilling--was manageable. The team did an excellent job minimizing disruption: adjacent rooms were carefully sealed to contain dust, wood floors were protected with panels, and window treatments were wrapped in plastic. Design selections were also made easy thanks to Nancy, who guided us through choosing colors, cabinets, and countertops that matched our vision. The result is a beautiful transformation from a neglected, dingy farmhouse kitchen into a bright, modern farmhouse space. The Italian tile backsplash complements the quartz countertops with subtle veining. The lower cabinets are a soft gray, while the upper cabinets are white, creating a clean and balanced look. We also upgraded our appliances and fixtures, including LED ceiling lights, a Bosch microwave drawer, a professional KitchenAid range with a matching hood featuring an infrared sensor, and a modern stainless-steel farmhouse sink with a gentle bow. Despite an initial delay with the permit office due to a previously applied for permit that KBU helped us manage, the project stayed on schedule. We made a few minor upgrades along the way, but thanks to Owen and Nancy's guidance, we remained on time and within our overall budget. The KBU crew was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. Communication was seamless--especially since I was working from home--which helped address questions quickly and keep the project moving efficiently. In the end, we passed all inspections and received written approval from the village within a day. For us, this remodel was a great success. Thank you to Nancy, Owen, Patricia, Rade, and the entire team! You are the BEST!

We just finished a complete remodel with KBU--kitchen and three baths. We started with Kelly, and…read moreshe was outstanding. Ownership changed, and we were concerned that the new owners would not deliver the same kind of product as previous owners. Not a worry. The new owners have the same dedication to the client and are also a pleasure to work with. We love the finished product and we are very happy with owner, Owen and crew leader, Rade. We had a budget for this very large project, and they helped us stay within that amount. We never felt that we had to skimp on choices to stay in budget. One of the best things about Owen is he responds immediately. No matter what day or time we'd text, email or call, Owen responded within the hour and often faster. And his response was always positive and supportive. Any issues or problems? He took care of them without any hesitation. He wanted us to be satisfied and happy with the results. And we are. One of the other tradespeople broke an item and is replacing it, but it won't arrive for several months after our remodel is complete. No problem, Owen will have Rade install that item for us when it arrives. To us, that says a lot about Owen and his business philosophy. We consider ourselves so fortunate to have Rade and Jesus as our crew. Rade does things the right way. He never skimped or took shortcuts. Even if it was more difficult or took more time, Rade did it the right way. Rade also wanted us to be happy with the results. He is thorough, professional, skilled and experienced. Many times there were choices and decisions, and we were not sure which to do. We had so much confidence in Rade's experience and skill that we deferred to his suggestions. We were never disappointed. Remodeling can be a stressful mess, but the people at KBU make it as stress free as possible. They are a pleasure to work with and to know.

The products that they offer are beautiful and they have so much to choose from . Also it all came in on a very timely manner ! The contractor that they had put in the cabinets and countertops Scott Besaw is a completely different story ! He is very unprofessional , he communicated my text message and dosent even give a invoice he just expected a check to be written out right away ! He installed the kitchen cabinet hardware unevenly my knobs for the pantry cabinet doors are very noticeable. I have a slide in range oven and he cut the " hole " out wrong to where the stove doesn't fit properly and there is a gap in the back of the stove that you can see down , when a slide in is supposed to fit flush to the countertops on all sides . He cut the backslash of the main countertop to " reduce " a gap inbetween the countertop its self and the wall but his cut job was VERY uneven and it was 1 1\2 Inc thick in some spots and not even 1inc thick in others . I tried reaching out to Scott and didn't get any responce. My grandfather who also questioned his work ended up being able to reach him to discuss the job and Scott was very defensive like anyone else would be and tried to explain his actions but my husband and I were still unhappy . We had another professional come in to give his explanation because still haven't heard anything from Scott and he advised us to take the pictures into the business. So that is exactly what I did , the ladies again were so helpful and listened to my concerns they even came to the house to look it all over themselves. After seeing the poor craftsmanship they reassured me that this will all be fixed and they will get into contact with Scott . After he had to come and look for himself they all agreed with me that the countertops were put in wrong and poor so the only way to fix it would be to start over again with new countertops and Scott would have to eat the cost ! So not only did I have to have my kitchen torn apart for the 2nd time and a plumber to hook up the sink for the 2nd time but my 70 year old grandfather had to help assist the " redo " project ! The cabinets were a gift from my grandparents and Scott never spoke with me and when he contacted to set up the time to come start the do over he spoke with my grandparents because " they were the ones with the money " that's excatly what he said !!!! Technically I still to this day have not heard back from Scott he still has not replied to all the times I reached out about the work he did at my home ! I was very upset with him and his work but very content with the quality of the countertops and cabinets themselves and the customer service we received from Anita ! I would highly recommended kitchen and bath design but highly recommend requesting someone other than Scott Besaw !! Sorry for this review to be so long I just wanted to tell my story to possibly prevent someone else to go through the stress and disappointed !!!!
