They exceeded all of our expectations…read more We redid a few rooms of flooring (including one bathroom), changed out a lot of the trim, and upgraded the stairs from carpet to hardwood. Peter is probably one of the most professional contractors I've ever hired. He confirmed the start of the project the day before, showed up on time every day of our 3-4 day project, finished at a decent hour (so we could have our evenings to ourselves), and kept me informed about the progress of the project every step of the way. Everything was contracted and professionally handled in terms of invoicing. He made suggestions for how to improve the appearance of our home in certain places and gave us up-front pricing about every additional change we could add on if we wanted (we took all of his suggestions and so glad we did!). He paid such great attention to detail, fixing so many errors throughout the house that previously were there...things I didn't even know needed fixing! So many of our doors were not sealed correctly and the flooring was all a mess, they fixed it all for us. This was a big project for us - we saved for a whole year for this project - I am so happy we chose to work with IDC. When asked to come to our house to see the cracks we were concerned about as the flooring was in the process of being installed, Adam was rude to us over the phone. He came to the house, but with a chip on his shoulder. The finale of this was his temper tantrum when he had come to see what we thought were imperfections in our floor. He looked at it and got agitated. Then he said these are all knots and I am leaving (in rude manner). With that he rushed to the door, slammed it as he exited and sped off our driveway. Though we love our floor, we do not appreciate how we were treated by the owner.

I would not use this company again. The salesperson told me the boards needed to be replaced and…read morequoted me for that work. When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

They finally came this morning they did the light switch but they couldn't do the door. The company tells me your carpet was too thick. I informed them your contractor did this not me. She informed me we don't shave doors down. I responded with I have door all of them work except one. They refuse to rectify the situation. Now im going to fix the closet door and see them in small claims court. Bad thing about it is these Latinos two couldn't speak English. So I know they're illegal. Let me call ICS on this company.
