I wasn't there to do a long session, so I got a couple tasters, one including Peche Mortal and the other a NEIPA. Two very different styles and both extremely well done. Beyond that, the space had a very old-fashioned look. Really nice wooden fixtures and a very warm, welcoming vibe. The server was also attentive and friendly, but also knew when to let people sit back and enjoy their drinks. You probably don't need me to tell you, but yes, you should go.

B and I ended up sitting outside on the benches that were setup. It was somewhat romantic with the hanging lights. The benches were in a good layout so it didn't feel like it was too crammed etc. Definitely a great place to have a gathering with friends on a hot day. Server was very friendly. B said the beer was pretty good. He said it was not too hoppy and yes it was definitely better than most craft brewery from BC (where we are from). He was impressed. I have to say Montreal has some really good craft brewery and you know that they don't cut corners like many of the craft brewery back home in BC that is why their flavor is much more apparent and the beer itself is less hoppy.

My partner had a chicken sub which he really liked. I had a bite just to taste it and it was hard not to eat the whole thing. It was equally hard for me to not try their pasta but I might get that next time. I'm always aware of how much my meal contributes to the final bill, but I believe this salad was $13 before I added the $6 chicken. For the portion size and how tasty it is, I'm not complaining.
