A genuine coffee shop that's not a chain and wants to provide a good space to relax and meet in Clawson. They cover the coffee gamete pretty well with everything from lattes, americano, and Turkish coffee. Space has free internet, solid reading material and is pleasant. Bakery selection always has a little treat or more to fulfill your sweet tooth. I hope this place stays, because Clawson need a space needed this. read more

This place is great. The atmosphere is chill and comfortable. They are happy to have you in for a cup of coffee and work, relax, read etc... The coffee is great. The mocha's are just the way I like them, perfect hint of chocolate, not too sweet, and great coffee. Not hot chocolate like starbucks or garbage flavored like Bigby. I went in for a real coffee fix, you know when you're the type that isn't into frappafluffy add three thousand calories and syrup but give me a real cup of joe? I left impressed. Forgive me I'm struggling with remembering its name, pretty sure the Vietnamese coffee or Venezuelan??.. I am sure it was one of them. A pour over far roast with sweet undertones and steamed condensed milk added. Oh my! Just the right creamy for cutting the dark rich roast. It's a good coffee shop with a good selection and you can use the space to work too. 4 stars because it doesn't allow dogs - I mean this is something that seems to be very common in Detroit and I hope it can change soon because many other places in the world have proven that having dogs in public spaces is not a big deal! This place is great. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you want out of a neighborhood coffee shop. Staff are always very friendly and seem to take pride in their business. I like that they have some board games, but it is usually quiet enough to read or study as well. More food options would be nice, but I do like the fact that they have mini spanakopita and pastries for when you just want something small. Beverage wise, I would recommend the Mexican hot chocolate with a shot of espresso. Not on the menu that way, but an employee suggested it when I was unsure of which to order and it was delicious. The place has a community-oriented feel to it and appears to be family run/owned. We stopped by this place right after having Noble Fish sushi. It is located within walking distance of Noble. It is a cute little shop that features a variety of different coffee (Turkish, Mexican, etc), they also have some pasties, and food items that you may purchase. You may also request almond milk for a .50 cent up charge. They have nice seating areas both inside (couch) and outside. The lady helping us on our visit was sweet. read more

I like that this place has a bunch of different style coffees. I tried their Turkish coffee and I would say it was good but had way too many grounds on the bottom compared to others I have tried. This place opens later than expected for a coffee place. It's coffee is ok and customer service was moderate. They didn't know quite how to recommend a drink for a non-coffee drinker (steamers, teas, etc) when a group of us arrived to socialize over coffee. There was no one in there and we felt rushed. Maybe it was just bad timing. I would go back but I haven't gone out of my way to visit again. read more

Drip coffee was meh. Decaf pour-over was made from preground coffee and tasted like it came from a diner. I won't be coming back.

Very cute place with a great selection of different beverages and snacks. Perfect sidewalk patio and a really nice inside. The barista was so kind and recognized me from where I work, so it's nice to know that Clawson businesses attend each other's stores. Also they have Turkish coffee and lavender lemonade! read more

Tried out Kahve Coffee today for a girls shower meeting. Loved it!! Nice, calming atmosphere, coffees were delicious (hot & iced) and enjoyed a pistachio pastry too. Prices were comparable to Starbucks but it's nice to pay that to a small business in my community versus a big chain. My husband was ver pleased since they have fresh juicing. My frappe was delicious. They always have little spots for kids which is great. Makes me want to return with my kids and they can try the frozen hot chocolate. read more

Cute shop and decor, but at the end of the day this is about the coffee. I asked for a pour over coffee. The barista filled up the beans then just dumped a bunch of hot water over it. Not only is that a bad pour over, it was super watery and not good at all. Maybe their other items are OK, but if you can't do a simple coffee on your menu right, you kind of lose the right to be called a cafe to me. read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon, had tea and read for a couple of hours at the window countertop. It's in a good downtown location and parking is convenient (large lot behind the shops), but this place is lackluster and doesn't have any character or personality. There was mismatched decor, oldies 60-70's music, and generic baked goods pulled from a box. I'm not sure what kind of vibe or crowd it's trying to draw in. It seems that the menu has a focus on Middle Eastern drinks/foods. They offered turkish coffee and baklava, etc. There's free wifi and the woman that was working there was very nice, but it's definitely not my first coffee shop choice. read more
