mood coffee is a nice small coffee shop, definitely love the ambience inside. It's nice to do your work. The music is a little bit on the louder end, however, not too loud. I got brown sugar, shaken, espresso, it's a good drink. I definitely think it could use some improvement overall as it could be creamier. I also got the pistachio milkshake, it was OK. I didn't absolutely love it as it taste like any other milk cake. It didn't stand out to me in particular. Overall, a nice spot I'm not sure if I'll be going over and over, but I might give it a second try in the future. service: 10/10 ambiance: 9/10 drinks: 7.8/10 food: 6/10

    Pistachio Latte

I was in the area for a short time and decided to try this place with hopes that I had found a new cafe to go to but I was left disappointed. I ordered the pistachio latte, which staff said was one of the more popular drinks. The drink itself looked good but it tasted like it had a lot more espresso than pistachio in it. I personally would not get this drink again. Their pastries did look good as well.

Nice coffee shop with good pastry selections. Like the variety of seating. Was nice and toasty warm inside. Many students and working groups. Enjoyed the softer chairs off to side.

Recommend!! Service is nice, food is good, and a great atmosphere for studying! Everything was delicious. They also had free WiFi (that we had a hard time getting to work but it could have just been us lol) Super cute place with a lot of unique options! The prices aren't horrible either!! I also adore how if you get your drinks and food to stay, everything is reusable.

New spot where Qamaria use to be. Coffee is very similar to other locations of this kind. They do have more options for dessert or pastries. Standard service, and place is clean with ample seating.

Solid coffee option. There is a decent amount of space to sit and they don't blast music or overpower the environment so you can definitely sit here and relax or work.

I will say lots of pistachio flavored items (I'm allergic) but they did a good job of keeping things separated.

This is part of a multi-use group of buildings and they seem to have the prime spot right at the corner. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a clean and pleasant space with high ceilings and green and gold decor. It's all new and there is a variety of seating types. I chose to sit at a small table near the side entrance. They have so many great food and beverage options, it was hard to choose. The nice young lady who took my order was very patient with me - I had lots of questions being my first time here. I ended up with a Mocha Pearls drink, Nutella Dubai Baklava, and an Almond Croissant. The drink was supposed to have chocolate pearls in it but I suppose since I ordered it hot, they melted. It basically tasted like a chocolate mocha so I would like to come back and try something different next time. The baklava sent me to the moon and back - I love chocolate baklava and it's hard to come by. Add the "Dubai" crunch kataifi with pistachio and I'm done! It was amazing! The Croissant was served warm and it had an almond paste inside. Soooo fresh and good! I love the attention to details and the care they took to serve everything so visually appealing. I appreciate that added touch. I will be back - and likely often!

In all fairness, I'm probably not the target market here - they have a huge drink menu with lots of different syrups and flavorings but I'm more of a no frills coffee person. The first time I got a plain latte and it was just ok, so this time I tried one of their specialties - the Mont Cloud. I assumed it would be mostly coffee and some cream but I guess it was a cloudy day because it was mostly cream (and ice) for $7. I also decided to try the basbusa because I've never had it before, but again ended not being up my alley since it's syrup-soaked. Oh well. The inside is decorated really cute and there's lots of different kinds of seating. They also have an outdoor patio area. Free parking since this coffee shop is located in a little strip mall. 3.5 stars overall.

Note: They charge a 3% credit card fee…read more I visit Michigan a few times a year, and I'm surprised it took me this long to find Sourdough Ida. I love a good bakery, and I'm so glad Metro Detroit (in particularly Troy) has an artisan bread spot like this. I wanted to try it before I left the area, so my high school friend and I checked it out during our lunch break earlier this week. After we got out of the car, parked a few spots away from the bakery, I could smell the freshly baked, yeasty aroma which got me even more excited. The interior is small and simple, but there's a variety of sourdough options (see menu attached), focaccias, and pastries. On the right side, there's also granolas and teas for sale, along with samples of the hibiscus tea which was refreshing. "E. BAGEL" SOURDOUGH - 13 My dad likes bread and eats a couple slices raw for breakfast everyday, so I figured he might like the "everything but the bagel" option. It was nutty, but also fluffy and bouncy. I don't get the appeal of eating bread on its own; if it were up to me, I would enjoy this with some toppings like avocado and tomato. LEMON + BLUEBERRY SCONE - 4.50 I didn't really want to try any of the scones because the amount of glaze drizzled on top made me think it was going to be way too sweet. My high school friend bought me one to try, and it was actually not sweet at all! The scone was nutty, lightly sweetened by the lemon glaze that wasn't even that sweet. I love the combination of lemon and blueberry. This is different than other scones I've had! CHOCOLATE + ORANGE MUFFIN - 5 Good and also not too sweet. This leans more chocolate tasting than orange, which is a bit subtle. It didn't taste overly fatty either, which aren't most muffins! Pretty solid, but I enjoyed the scone more. I really liked the sourdough and pastries from Sourdough Ida. I'm excited to get more of the scones in future visits!

Their Classic Sourdough is great and the Everything Bagel Sourdough is absolutely exceptional in my opinion. There are other Sourdough variants sold here that are equally good to include Seeded, Jalapeño & Cheddar and Whole Wheat. Absolutely tasty across the board. Relative to the facility, it has a relatively small footprint where there is an order counter with fresh bread behind it and a sampling station out front in the customer area. The samples are of all the breads and generous in size allowing you the ability to taste what they have to offer before picking your bread. I went in planning on getting only the Classic Sourdough but after sampling the bread I ended up getting the Everything bagel as well which I am guessing is a common occurrence with new customers like myself (: As mentioned in other reviews this bread is a bit on the pricey side where My Classic Sourdough was $10 a loaf and the Everything Bagel is $13 a loaf. Price aside, quality of this nature and the organic Artisan nature of the bread usually comes at a premium which at least in my case is worth it as this bread is just so darn good! The old axiom that you get what you pay for applies here. I will definately be returning in the near future and will be buying this bread as one of the center peaces for family get togethers going forward.

We forgot to get on the wait list early but it wasn't too long of a wait. The restaurant is bright and airy which makes it a pleasant atmosphere. They offer both regular and vanilla flavored creamer for their coffee. I appreciate that because I love vanilla flavoring. The coffee was really good - smooth and flavorful without being bitter. My sandwich was also packed with flavors...their signature Million Dollar Bacon, sausage, egg (any style you want!), Gruyère cheese, hot honey, and greens - all on an English muffin. This was so good! The honey was not too spicy which made it the perfect addition of sweet and heat to the savory sandwich. Hubby really liked his dish as well.
