I had ordered the two meat plate with only rice. My order included Kalua Pork and Beef. The two meats were both very tasty and seasoned perfectly. The Kalua Pork was tender and had a great smoke flavor. The beef was rich, full of flavor and paired perfectly with plain rice. The dish was simple but delivered exactly what I wanted in a quick, filling Hawaiian Style meal! I really enjoyed that it was easy to order from Mahalo Hawaiian BBQ. They have large portions with great flavor, and they are super simple to get an enjoyable lunch. We didn't eat it at the restaurant. We had it at the office. Handicap accessible. No steps. Two gender neutral restrooms. Spacious. Handicap accessible. We found street parking right out front. We came at 7 PM on a Monday after the dinner rush. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. The bowls of poke are bright and beautiful, with all the wonderful ingredients and sauces you can imagine. Not only do you have the ability to make them any way you see fit, they showcase their regular customers' orders as named specials on the wall so that you can order what others have enjoyed thoroughly, and maybe find something exciting and new! Unfortunately, during my initial visit here, I did not snap any photos of the poke bowl, but on my second trip, I was feeling in more of a sushi mood, and managed to get a picture of my sushi box! I love that they pack in actual yuzu leaves for flair and flavor, and everything has variety from the chef's choice and still maintained the absolute freshness that I had expected from my first time here. I will be returning here whenever I am nearby and cannot say enough about how wonderful this little place is.
