Being close to where I live, I never checked it out because it's not easy to spot from the street. However after seeing some of their food pictures on Yelp, I had to try. I bought their passion fruit crepe cake and the chestnut cake with a strawberry on top (which comes in 2 pieces). The taste was really delicious, not overly sweet and full of flavor. I think I liked the crepe cake more because of the tartness but the chestnut cake was quite good too. They sell sushi here as well but I didn't try it at the time. There's a cool corner for instagram seating on the side area as well. Overall the good and atmosphere was nice. The staff were quick and attentive. read more

I came to SU 20 after I saw my friend get the strawberry rose crepe cake on Instagram. After I found out it was a full service restaurant, I thought I might as well have a full meal before getting dessert. SU 20 has just about all of the classic sushi rolls you would expect, including some specials like the Fish Cake I got (see the block-shaped roll in review). My friend got a tempura roll of some sort. The dessert here has great presentation but only average taste imo. If you get there later in the day, the more interesting crepe flavors might be out. I ate there around 7pm and there wasn't anything but the blueberry one left. The strawberry green tea cheesecake was cute but not as sweet as I would've liked. After a couple visits to SU 20, I'm a big fan! Amazingly fresh sushi. An excellent selection of chef rolls. Pretty desserts. Great service. On our first visit, we got the sashimi deluxe, tuna carpaccio, and a fiesta roll. As mentioned, the sushi was very fresh. This selection was enough for the two of us without any sacrifices. The sashimi deluxe included the standard selection of fish (tuna, salmon, yellow tail, red snapper). The tuna carpaccio was peppered and wrapped with a sauce that made it very tasty. The fiesta roll was fun! Our next visit, we just opted to get the sushi and sashimi for two. Again, plenty of food for two people. As with the deluxe sashimi, it had the standard selection of fish. It also came with two rolls - one standard and one chef. We've yet to try the many desserts, but one day we won't be so "good" and will break down and try one of those amazing looking cakes. One of our favorite sushi spots in the area. Great selection of rolls and quality. The service is great and friendly - servers and sushi chefs! It's a great place to have a quiet dinner and definitely recommend calling ahead if you have a bit of a larger party and request the round table by the entrance. We love it! read more

The fish is really fresh and this platter in particular had otoro! I don't think I have seen that at many other places for the tuna option unless you paid extra for it. They also have a bakery section with pre sliced cakes. We got 2 slices last week, very good although a little expensive for cake. I've also gotten chirashi and sushi lunch. We've ordered takeout from SU 20 a few times, but this was our first time dining in. The food was delicious as per usual. We ordered the Tri-Color Three Way and it was so dang good!!!! The tri-color roll was our favorite of the night. Their salmon sashimi always melts in my mouth! We tried the chu-toro and the o-toro (which was $8 per piece market price) and we actually liked the chu-toro better (for only $5). We'll definitely be getting that again. The dining room is pretty simple, which is fine, but I really wish they gave you a cloth napkin. I was going through the few paper napkins they gave us quickly and when I asked the waitress for more napkins, she gave us 1 each. Sometimes it's the little things that just elevate an experience. Delicious sushi at SU20! This is a very cute, very clean, very friendly tucked away little sushi restaurant. It's a little hard to see, and there's another sushi place nearby, so I worry a little about their visibility. Inside the restaurant is great. There is limited seating, but the night I was there it was not crowded. There is "bar" seating, table seating, and one round booth area that is slightly more private. This place is BYOB so do not expect to be able to order a drink - but bring a bottle of wine! The wait staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helpful with ordering! The options were all the classic sushi rolls, plus some interesting variations. My dad and I ordered the following: pork gyoza - delicious, the best we've had anywhere local California roll - classic, fresh, crisp Nine heavenly roll - overall our favorite thing we ordered. I don't like anything gooey or with a lot of sauce, but the topping on this was subtle and perfect. Perfect roll - this was shrimp tempura with a twist, perfectly done. Tried So 20 for the first time. I ordered the Kobe roll, shrimp tempura app, and a king lobster roll. The Shrimp tempura was crispy and perfectly cooked and plentiful, with 4 nice sized ahrimp and some sweet potato. A large portion for an appetizer, could do it as a meal. Kobe beef roll was very flavorful, but the beef was a teeny bit too thick. The king lobster roll was delish. At the last minute, I ordered a slice of chocolate mousse cake. So light and chocolaty!
