As the end neared, we contacted Scott regarding cremation and funeral. He put us at ease as he went over all the details. Then he took care of all the details, culminating in a wonderful funeral, including an Irish bagpiper and a release of doves. He respectfully orchestrated the ceremony and reception. Along the way, he gave advice on all of the postmortem documents and procedures. He made it easy for us to concentrate on grieving. I'm not easy to please, but I give Scott my highest recommendation.

If you know anything about planning a funeral during this time then you know how extremely difficult it was getting things done. This was the first place to treat us with a little warmth. We got to come in and design our stone. We seen sample stones. It may not seem like much but considering we had to pick out his casket, flowers and burial spot from a book this was nice to be able to do. The ladies that assisted us were VERY accommodating and any time I needed help with questions they responded very quickly. We got a very nice and beautiful headstone. Hopefully, we will not have to use them any time soon. But will definitely bring our business here when that time comes.

I have called, e-mailed with no return call or e-mail. I'm trying to find who the CEO of the cemetery is so I can report John. Why is it so hard to look up the Section and Lot Number for me? I wanted to personally thank the staff at Holy Cross Cemetery for the excellent service and…read moreassistance I received during my visit to the cemetery.  I wanted to specifically mention John McIntyre and one of the groundskeepers (I was not able to obtain his name, but he was very helpful as well).  We do not often hear the compliments and praise for the work we do, and I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that your/their hard work is noticed and appreciated.  I was able to locate the graves of both sets of grandparents at Holy Cross Cemetery with their assistance, placed flowers on their graves and tidied/cleaned up the area around the graves - although, not much was needed - just some trimming and cleaning but I found the grounds to be well maintained and the staff very helpful.  One suggestion I would make it to repaint the numbers/letters on the small stones that denote the sections and repaint/refresh the street/road signs for easier use.  I appreciate your dedication to those of us that want to remember, visit and honor our families at Holy Cross Cemetery. Folks in their 80's set aside money years ago, when $5000. bought a great service, but now that amount limits options. They wanted a 15 minute viewing, same day as burial. We had to fight to extend it to a hour. There was no guest book, (extra). The decor looked like a yard sale exploded inside the place. Guests had to ask repeatedly for "Funeral" Flags for the cars. The body was picked up 2 blocks from the home, the cemetery is only a few miles from the home and it was held on a Saturday during the Philadelphia Bike Race, a few feet from the festivities, so, it was not a high demand time for them. It was basically a family gathering to say goodbye to a life long lived and we felt as if we were bothering them because it was not a more expensive funeral. As a small businesswoman, I value all customers and every sale. I felt Fitzpatrick, does not. Spending less is not a crime or something to be ashamed of. Tsk tsk.

I had a good experience with my counselor in previous years but am disappointed with the lack of…read moreconcern for current medical needs. I was promised by my therapist guided imagery as a part of my service plan but that never occurred. Several appointments were cancelled without an explanation. In addition when I complained to the managing supervisor I was referred back to the counselor to express complaints. The managing supervisor failed to refer me to another therapist and my direct counselor failed to refer to a new counselor. I continuously expressed the service plan that I required for care but the therapist continues to play mind games with me and circle around the plan for care. I would not recommend this place to people who are searching for healing and wholeness. These people are a joke and do not take their patients care seriously. On top of that my counselor fails to provide my medical doctor with my records. My original request for this items dates back to March 2017. Give me a break with the excuses!
