Plus $1.50 for old avocado. No thank you.

Plus $1.50 for old avocado... No, thank you. Given fresh ingredients are key for poke bowls, I am now questioning the quality of all ingredients used. Old avocado aside, this place is at best OK. I have found better quality poke in grocery stores.

Kevin and his team were fast. The sushi tasted fresh and the toppings were so flavorful.

Owner Kevin is so sweet and was very accommodating to my hunger needs! Sushi is fresh and they cut it up in front of you. Tastes great with great customer service. Thank you!

This bowl was so good and I loved eating in the Pythian market. I'll definitely be there again. The food was fresh, tasty, and a little pricy for lunch but so worth it. I will be a returning customer.

I am very excited i found this place. Their poke is very good and i was able to order exactly how i wanted it since i am doing Keto. Good tasting poke with super fresh ingredients and extremely friendly staff. It's located in an indoor food cart type place and a very good ambience.

    Poke bowl, extra tuna!

We've told our friends in New Orleans and those visiting us to check out this place but we've noticed changes over the past few months which have been extremely disappointing. The last 2 times we've stopped by were random week nights 7-8pm past peak dinner and we've been told curtly, "We're all booked up for the night." Each of the last 2 times, we checked Resy to see that all slots both restaurant and bar are free, same thing when you look Monday-Friday next week. Last time we were told it was "full," we went ahead and made reservations 30 min ahead and were able to get seated, no apology or acknowledgement when we confronted the front staff about the discrepancy in open reservations despite being told there was no room, not even offering to let us get on a waiting list. When we were offered the patio and back bar, we walked past the restaurant to see it half empty. The back patio completely empty along with the back bar which has a dining table. We had a dinner which lasted 1.5-2 hours, no other guests besides us. We've been here plenty of times to see how busy it may get on weekends or nights with nice weather, so we've purposely stopped by on less busy times. Front staff and hosts used to be much more friendly and welcoming when it opened, but definitely not the case any more. We got this vibe as if we were a nuisance or burden, unwelcome here. Disappointing because we love the bar staff and servers. When we left the whole place was empty. Was even offered discounted food from the chef because there was leftovers in the kitchen. And you said this was packed to the brim tonight?! Come on. Do better.

While holding my baby, I opened a door because we saw a sign stating that minors were permitted when accompanied by an adult. I remained at the entrance, did not step beyond the mat, and simply asked for menus and whether we could order sushi and be served outside. A brunette female bartender immediately and aggressively told us we could not be inside. I calmly explained that we had seen the sign regarding accompanied minors and were only trying to understand how to receive restaurant service. As we walked back outside, she said, "Read the fucking signs," under her breath, but loudly enough for us and nearby patrons to hear. My friend reopened the door and explained that we had read the signs but were confused. At that point, we decided to leave. However, as we were nearly off the property, the bartender rushed outside, screamed at us while pointing at the sign, and then slammed the door. The people seated outside appeared visibly stunned by her behavior. This was not a simple misunderstanding or a firm explanation of a policy. It was profane, hostile, and unnecessarily aggressive conduct toward customers, including a mother holding a baby. We were so shaken by the encounter that we left immediately. I have lived and dined throughout this city for 19 years and have never experienced treatment like this. I fully respect that establishments have rules, but customers should be able to ask for clarification without being cursed at, screamed at, and publicly humiliated. Management should take this incident seriously and review who was working behind the bar at the time. Regardless of how good the food may be, we will not return after being treated this way.

There are a few tables and the bar seats quite a few people. We chose a table. Our server was fantastic. He brought waters and menus right away. We ordered the pork belly dish and it was very tasty. The pork was a little overcooked, but still had good flavor. We also ordered the ceviche, which was made with drum and wasn't very good. We ordered the tuna tacos, which were very flavorful, but a little too spicy for me. I couldn't eat them.

Asked if I could do my order over the phone to secure some crawfish, but she politely told me I needed to come and go through the drive thru. It's located on the left hand side of LA Hwy 70. There are two seafood places side by side but Craws and Claws is the first one before you get to the lake. Be careful where you turn in at because it's a drive thru set up, so you go in one side and come out of the other. If you mess up like I did, it's easy to turn around, just be careful. There was a dry erase board just off to the side of the drive thru where the whole menu shows you just what they have and the prices. I came on Monday April 26th at 2PM. The menu showed crabs, crawfish, shrimp, both live and boiled, corn, potatoes, sausage, mushroom, garlic, sausage, and more. The lady was so nice both in person and on the phone. She packaged our stuff up so securely and even gave us an extra bag just in case. Our price was $3.99/lb for boiled crawfish but depending on when you come that price will fluctuate. Early on in crawfish season it's pretty expensive, but toward the end of the season, things gets little more affordable. Hands down, that was the best crawfish I've had in a long time. It was spiced just right. We had not even one bad crawfish. It was all great. The potatoes and corn were excellent. The boudin did not disappoint. It was so tasty and delicious. We had a big ol' polar pop to help wash it all down. We paid about $58 and some change for 12lbs of very tasty crawfish....that included 2 orders of potatoes, 2 orders of corn, and 2 pieces of boudin. Not a bad price at all for the amount of food we got. We enjoyed every bit. We will be going back very soon.

The price point was in line with the standard. Maybe a little higher because of substitutions. My only issue with this establishment was the clutter and dated interior. There were items in clear view that were supplies. They could use an upgrade in the dining area and restrooms. Good food; not great. Entertaining and definitely more than enough serving wise. We all had to go containers. Huge portions and fresh food. Would I recommend this experience... perhaps but don't expect too much.
