After being admitted, I was not properly attended to--I was not fed in a timely manner and went far too long without being seen by a doctor. Being left without proper medical attention after admission is not just frustrating, it raises serious concerns about patient safety and standards of care. Communication throughout my stay was poor. I had to repeatedly ask for updates and basic information about my condition and care plan, often with little to no response. My wife has a level 9 pain and we were told to rush to the ER. They promised to get her some Tylenols while we waited and it's been over an hour and they seem bothered every time I ask for an update on the Tylenol. The employee who we are dealing with is Claire T. She refuses to give us updates or a Tylenol and seems annoyed every time I ask. She suspected I took a photo of her and within minutes a PA, an RN and multiple security personal were available to address this "pressing" issue. They couldn't find anyone to get my wife a pain killer for over an hour or see us for 5 hours but had no problem providing an RN for over 20 minutes to discuss their policies relating to photos. I do not recommend this place. Other ERs in the area don't have wait times and are much more helpful. Update: it's now 6 hours and we haven't seen a doctor yet. The night I was admitted I hadn't anything to eat all day, the kitchen was closed but the aid gave me some graham crackers and she wasn't stingy with them, she gave me like 12 of them to satisfy me till morning. I was very impressed with their ordering system where you can order your food through an app on your phone, and you put in your times for each meal. Everything was perfect plus they said it was chef prepared, it went way beyond what I expected. Every meal was good. I have pics to show. I was being prepared to go to a therapy place, this was the first time I ever prayed to God to let my insurance authorize it 3 days later , so I could get a breakfast omelet before I leave I have never wanted to stay in the hospital but I prayed and he granted, in actual my insurance didn't approve til four days later.
