Another company said they would only rebuild the entire fireplace and chimney. We never intend to use the fireplace and just needed to protect it from weather and creatures getting in. (We couldn't afford a complete rebuild in any case.) Lifetime Chimney saved us! They completed some repairing so they could install a cover/ cap, and they pressure washed the chimney. Miguel did an excellent job and was very kind. When I first called in, I spoke with Brian who was incredibly helpful! I was worried when I called in, but Brian explained what they needed to do. He patiently gave me clear information. The chimney looks great and it makes the house look great. We're relieved to have it protected now. I would hire this company again!

This was my first time doing a project of this size for myself. I wanted a 30'x50' metal RV garage built on a concrete slab with an 80' asphalt driveway on my 5 acre property. I contracted for surveying, engineering, geotechnical support, and worked with the county for all permitting. After selecting my metal building contractor, I called Leo's company for an estimate after seeing the many positive reviews he had on Google and Yelp. In the excavating, concrete, and asphalt areas, I had a difficult time finding single contractors that did all three areas. Besides Leo's estimate, I was able to obtain one other. Other contractors would say they worked in all three areas but upon visiting my site, they would say they just did one area but had contacts that could provide estimates in the other areas. Leo's site visit and subsequent interactions put me completely at ease. He had done his homework, deep diving the plans I had sent him. His estimate was in the ballpark of the other and he provided pictures of his other jobs that proved that he had more than enough expertise to complete my project. Over the course of my project, I came to rely upon Leo to help me overcome obstacle after obstacle due to my inexperience working across the trades and with the county. In one example, we had a conference call to talk to the engineer to determine how best to build up the ground to make it level for the slab with a mostly level driveway that would drain properly, and T'd from the original driveway. In another example, I did not find the building permit on the county's electronic system until after the concrete slab had been poured. The first geotechnical report had made "suggestions" that the county made "mandatory" in the building permit, one of which was having a geotechnical expert write an assessment after the forms were constructed and before concrete was poured. I was able to have the geotechnical engineer visit the site and inspect after the fact. Leo made himself available to answer questions and he had pictures of the rebar and forms. A positive report was developed that satisfied the county. Leo told me that he likes jobs that are my size and up to 12 homes at a time so he can be responsive to his commitments. For me, he was on site when he said he would be. The size of his crew was always right for the job at hand and no one was ever not fully engaged. If you have a major self-funded project and are looking for someone you can trust on your team, look no farther than Leo Lopez and Lovaz Excavating LLC.

I waited a few days and then contacted him. "Oh - family emergency, we will start next week." Next week comes by and still no one comes. I wait a few days again and contact him again. "Oh - I injured my foot - next week for sure." I wait for the next week and again no one shows up. I wait a few days and contact him. "Oh - my foot is still injured - but next week for sure." Guess what - he did not show up the next week and then just stopped responding to my texts. I understand that delays come up but why is it my responsibility to have to repeatedly contact him when no one shows up on the scheduled date again and again? If something comes up, LET ME KNOW! And if you don't want to do it, LET ME KNOW! After a month of having my texts ignored, we gave up on him and contracted with the city to do the repair.

I had ( and still have) construction going on my property due to 4' of snow in Feb. of 2019. We had our shop collapse and several large structures damaged. We had/have Very Very bad contractors working on there projects that have been removed and now have legal action and basically we have seen the good, bad and Really ugly. Northwest Concrete Design comes into the picture when we find out last minute that our Ins. is not going to replace the concrete pad that was present prior to collapse. It is early January and we are on a time crunch with weather and needing to empty an equipment container. Not only did they offer a very Reasonable bid ( 2 cheaper with absence of steel embedded reinforcement & they appeared to look for short cuts), They offered the most as far as quality. These guys stayed nearly till 11:30 PM while the concrete was setting in very cold weather. They did everything to make sure that what we had was quality & nice looking. The seal the placed over the concrete has already protected against an oil spill with NO STAINING visible ! So professional, got out quick to get the job done, & when they arrived for a quote they were the only ones who actually drove a vehicle outfitted for the job ( Not a requirement but sure sent the right message). All their office staff were very nice.... I just do not think I can say enough good! I found them on Angie's List. I also have to say using Angie's list was a pleasant surprise compared to 5 years ago. Super organized & I even got a call back after 1 week asking if I wanted my request for work removed or kept in place. A++++ Sure wish I had taken a picture before we put vehicles back in the shop.
