We had our wedding reception here two days ago and WOW! From the planning process to the day of, everything was amazing. The venue is beautiful, elegant, and extravagant even without any decor. They have very classy gold tables and chairs that will instantly elevate your event. They also have a video wall and a light show available for use during dancing for the reception. We had cocktail hour in the grand foyer and it was absolutely gorgeous. They even put out tables and chairs near the fountain in the courtyard for an outdoor space for both cocktail and reception. Not to mention, red carpet for all guests to feel like royalty walking into the hall. The food is absolutely amazing. ALL of my guests have been talking about it for days. The quality is unmatched and the quantity is insane. Food just kept coming out and everything was so exquisite. Johnny, the manager, has revamped the menu and really upgraded each dish to perfection. Johnny and Ashot, the managers, made sure we were satisfied with everything from start to finish. They put so much time and effort to make sure our day was spectacular. Any requests we had, they made it happen. It's very rare to find genuinely nice people who care about your event and needs rather than just caring about money. I would 1000% recommend this venue to everyone for any event-- wedding, birthday, engagement, they can do it all. I was supposed to get married on April 25, 2020. Throughout March of 2020, it was impossible to get a hold of anyone there. Finally, towards the end of March I was able to get in contact with someone there who said that due to the restrictions they weren't able to host the wedding (which i understand due to the stay at home orders). We mutually changed the date to October of 2020 for a 250 people wedding. I was also notified that if for some reason they couldn't host the wedding, then i can get my deposit refunded after a year of my original wedding date, if i don't use the deposit for another event. In September of 2020, again after I REACHED OUT TO THEM, i was notified that they aren't able to have the wedding indoor. If i wanted to have the wedding there then my guest list would have to be cut down to 50 people and they would only serve appetizers outside with no formal seating or dancing. I was also reminded told again that if I don't use my deposit with a year of my original wedding date (either through catering or having a small event outside of the hall), then i would receive my full deposit back. I called recently and requested my deposit back. The manager screamed at me and repeatedly hung up the phone. He kept yelling "we don't refund deposit" even though i was told twice that i would get my deposit back. I explained to him that due to covid and the fact that he would not allow us to have the wedding inside even with a social distancing and cutting down the guest list, that the contract is void and the deposit must be returned. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and would not listen to me to try to come to an agreement. read more

Where do I even begin?! Talk about accommodation. Everyone here was so great and their primary goal was to make sure we were happy with everything. The food was delicious which was such a relief because banquet hall food can be tricky but our guests LOVED IT. The service was top tier, so thoughtful, nothing went unnoticed by the staff here. The tables were so pretty and the space was so comfortable, we were able to accommodate a large wedding and everyone felt so at ease, the dance floor was perfect!! Ashot worked with us day after day to make sure we were happy with every last detail and I cant thank him enough . Hovik was fantastic, great demeanor a true expert at his craft! Truly it was a dream working with them two and having the opportunity to enjoy our wedding at this beautiful establishment. This venue was gorgeous and very spacious! However, my fiance and I did not end up booking this banquet hall for our reception venue. This review is mostly in regard to their customer service. When I reached out to the venue, I received a very quick response and was able to schedule a tour by the end of the week. Lucy was the one who reached out to me. She was very friendly, efficient and flexible to help my fiance and I fit the tour into our busy week. We were able to discuss pricing and Lucy was able to answer most of our questions with the help of the manager (I think). However, ever since that meeting, we never received a response back in regards to moving forward, or if they were able to accommodate us. I would rather have someone respond with "I'm sorry, but we cannot accommodate that" instead of never getting back to me, as they said they would, to provide us with some type of closure. Other than the poor communication part, if you are looking for a large and beautiful venue, definitely reach out to them and take a tour to see if the venue fits your taste and needs! I liked this one the best out of all the other Armenian Banquet Halls because it had more of a westernized feel to it, which other Armenian Banquet Halls don't have. The Hall is really big and the director of events said that I was allowed to decorate the place however I wanted to...which was intriguing to me because I am a little bit fickle about my decorations for my wedding. We had planned to host our wedding here before the pandemic changed our plans. Trying to get in touch with this venue during the pandemic has been an absolute nightmare. For weeks, every phone number we had to contact them was disconnected. We had to call the church next door to get a working number at one point. With the horrible communication and the risk of hosting a big wedding within the next year, we decided to cancel. It took months to reach someone to finally be able to cancel, and they refused to give our deposit back despite COVID restrictions making it completely unsafe to host a wedding. I'm just happy to never have to deal with this venue again. I cannot recommend ever using this venue for an event. read more

we put a deposit down for this caterer for our wedding because the hal that we wanted had an exclusive contract with them and it was conveniently located and their appetizers looked good but after hearing from a bunch of different people that they're main courses were horrible, we decided to see for ourselves. After having the first tasting cancelled by them, we went back again and they didn't let us try the main course! I was shocked. We ended up taking our business elsewhere, thinking about taking them to small claims to get our deposit back since they refused us service. Gah... Just wanted to add that they're liars. We've talked to them since requesting our deposit and they're just making up stuff as we go. I should've known from the first red flag when they said "don't worry we'l take care of it later"... learned my lesson the hard way. And any smart yelper can see that they have either 1-2 stars or 5 stars... one of the reviewers even said they're a close family friend... way to be discreet. -- A fellow yelper reminded me about this place so I decided why not edit my review: I visited here back in March or April 2012 for a Christening, things seemed to have improved but I was a guest so it was a different experience. I think they might have added some aesthetic value to it since my former visits... and I finally was able to taste main courses and they were OK, I still like the appetizers better though. read more

Where do I start?! Here's the short version! I just had my wedding here this past weekend and all I can say was Gagik (the manager) was amazing!! From the beginning he made sure my husband and I had the most perfect wedding and we truly did. They remodeled the lobby (cocktail hour) the chandeliers and the carpet! They even surprised us with the beautiful and chic glass tables that usually each cost about $300-400 to rent!! I called about hosting a company party here in December on a Thursday for only 5 hours and spoke to a man by the name of Arthur telling him we only needed the space for the party no food and drinks were needed as we would have finger foods passed around. He gave me a reasonable quote and I told him I would forward it over to my supervisor and call him back. I call him after 2 weeks reminding him who I was and what we discussed and this idiot says he thought I was booking for a meeting. First of all I had a list of 10 venues I had been calling SPECIFICALLY for this party. He then says I never mentioned I wanted to do a Christmas party. SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I'm not as dumb as him he was just trying to get out of it. I would have appreciated if he just said we could not do the party there unless we got the per person minimum rather then saying I was lying and initially said it was for a meeting. Save yourself the bad service and miscommunication because this was just a company party and had it been for my wedding he would have been sorry. Go to Palladio that is where my wedding will be next year and the man there is beyond amazing. I hate dealing with dishonest people who are liars! Shame on your Ritz and especially Arthur! read more

We walked in not knowing how to even begin planning our wedding and walked out having experienced one of the happiest moments of our lives thanks to Gagik the manager. He helped us with vendors, seating arrangements, and made sure all our guests were taken care of. By far, from the very start, this is one of the best places for a wedding ceremony. Being the best man for my brother's wedding with over 300 guests, I had a lot on my plate. Gago and Vasgee (sorry if I misspelled any of your names) were exceptional with their state of the art service, timeliness, cooperation, patience, and friendliness. I needed the lights to be dimmed and Gago got the job done. I needed the projector screen to be present and Gago got the job done. I needed the slideshow to play on the TV and Gago again got the job done. I needed my small hookah to be prepared and Vasgee got the job done on time at the start of my speech. They even don't allow smoke in the banquet hall, but they were nice enough to grant me an exception (THANK YOU SO MUCH because smoking the hookah was the best surprise I gave my brother). They went the distance to bring a smile on all our faces and it definitely was worth it. I didn't hear one compliant from any of the coworkers. I felt like they treated me like I was their own. No over promises. No under promises. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. God bless Gago, Vasgee, and the rest of the crew. Thank you for making this a very special day for my brother and his wife. We truly appreciate all the hard work put into planning and execution. I did my sons baptism at Ritz and loved it. The food was so good. There was so much of it that there was no room in the table. The service was amazing. The staff were so pleasant and nice. This is one of unique locations, which have a Church and banquet hall in one place. We went there for my friends wedding, the Church ceremony ended around 7:00pm, there keep all guests waiting stand up in hallway for 1 hours before they open the door after 8:00pm!!!! The dj supposed to entertain gusset by playing music, instead of that he put a simple rhythm and disappear for 1 hour. Really poor management, The food quality was acceptable.
