    Stockholm w/ fish meatballs.
    Mei W.

I can only think of positive things to say ! Not sure how close this to a proper Swedish meal but from a tourist amateur taste palette, it's pretty damn delicious. I had the Stockholm w/ fish. Three fish balls were surprisingly enough because it's paired w/ rice, potatoes, onions, and sauce of your choice! The staff was also really helpful in explaining the sauces & recommended me the more popular choice on the menu. I can't wait to come back and have this again.

Okey, now I've been here three times so I guess I'm entitle to grade this place. You enter this tiny place which they've actually used the space very well. It's an open kitchen/living-room solution sharing the small space with the employees. The menus are creative and there's flavored that you normally don't find in food in Stockholm at a place like this. You bring the utensils, water glass and some paper towels to you table. I decided to climb to the top of the restaurants seating stairs creation. If you are into eco-food, locally produced etc then you have come to the right place. Today I asked for something to fill my stomach since I was really hungry. They recommended the special called Ramsele (120sek), a plate with 3 micromini tiny-sized meatballs, iceberg lettuce, walnuts, carrots, onion and other raw-food things and a sauce. The food was a bit salty and a bit too much butter flavors, but it's all good and quite interesting.everything is like always really nice presented on a rectangular plate. Problem is when I ask for something filling I'm counting on that I will leave a happy pancake. But no, the plate consist of like 30-40% of this cheap iceberg lettuce and the meat was probably no more than 40grams. This place is not a value-for-money place at all. Come here for a snack, not for a full meal if you don't want to fill up with bread. Personally there are many other restaurants that I can recommend which are much better.

This is one of those places where the colors of your plate scream "Healthy food!" And it's not only that, everything here is delicious, fresh and organic. Straight from Scandinavian farms. Highly recommended. Come here and you will not regret that you did.

Easily the best meal we had in Stockholm. The employees were incredibly helpful. The meatballs were so tender and delicious. The roasted veggies were colorful, bursting with flavors and beautiful. I would recommend the remoulade sauce. No idea what's in it but damn it's good. If you're in town, don't miss this spot! They have options for omnivores and vegans alike.

Fantastic fast food. The Stockholm dish was tasty. I wouldn't get the meatballs again bc they tasted like breakfast sausages. Everything else was so good that I still give 5 stars.

Enjoyed a delicious meal of meatballs with beet salad and horseradish sauce that was to die for. Our 13 year old scarfed it down!

Got the usual, the herring with mashed potatoes, three sides, and a piece of rye crisp. We had the pickled cucumber, lingonberries and cremefreche salad. Nice serving but I wanted more. IT IS SO GOOD. It's pretty much a one person show from what I could see. The owner attended to me efficiently and without the slightest hesitation. I'm sorry to say that I don't speak Swedish (I wish I did I can tell you) but he was able to communicate with me and for that I will always be grateful. My plate had, if I recall correctly, four breaded and fried herring fillets. It had a coleslaw (which I found a surprising addition, creamy mashed potatoes, pickled cucumbers, red onions, and a little wedge of crispbread. I loved every bite. It was a generous plate. I particularly enjoyed eating a combination of the potatoes, cuke, onion, and fish on a corner of the crispbread as I munched away. There are a few nearby picnic type tables. So there was a place I could sit and enjoy this meal overlooking the water and a corner of the old town. If you find yourself in Stockholm, do yourself a favor and go to here. Even if you think you don't like herring, try it this way. I bet you'd be surprised.

Everything you'd need for the perfect meal out! They do not accept reservations and we went on a Sunday evening around 8:30 pm. We waited about 30 minutes, but boy was it worth it! We were seated at a cute little corner table that had pads on the benches, right next to a window to see the street. Lighting was dim and cozy. Service was the best I've had in recent memory. Our waitress was peppy despite having to deal with a long line and probably a long day. She was friendly, attentive, and so cheerful! 100/10. We started with the reindeer salad since my bf had never had reindeer before. While the reindeer seemed less cooked than expected, by the end he really liked the mix of flavors and thought it paired well with the salad. We both got the Swedish meatballs for our entrees and loved them! We both loved the pickled cucumbers and lingonberries. The lingonberries pair so well with the meat! While there are only 3 meatballs, they were so huge neither of us could finish all of them. Especially because I wanted to save room for dessert: the sponge cake! While it didn't look like much on presentation, it was surprisingly moist and the cream and berries were absolutely delicious. My bf said he was only going to have one bite (he's not a big dessert guy) but instead ended up eating half! Highly recommend! Overall would come back again just for the vibes, service, dessert, and to probably try another entree, which I'm sure would be good as well! If you don't know where to eat and want a memorable night out, come here!!
