I've been a patient for a while now, with that being said I arrived home last night from the west coast to find a very offensive letter in the mail waiting for me. This letter is telling me that I've missed multiple and multiple appointments, and that if I don't want to really be there I don't have to so they will stop seeing me! I must say I'm glad that this dentist is showing his true colors! The fact that letter was not entirely true but also the maturity of it was ridiculous! Technically the entire time I have been with this dentist I have missed two appointments one being I was on the international trip, the second was at the end of last month. I had an appointment for a cleaning and I was eight minutes behind schedule because of traffic on SomCenter Road when I arrived I can feel the attitude from one receptionist in particular they took me back did x-rays but did not do the cleaning because and I quote I was eight minutes late and they only have 45 minutes with me so I said no problem I will be back the following week to get my cleaning done and I also had a small cavity. Well I have just received horrible news that there was a death in my immediate family I took off did not think about canceling this appointment because as any normal human being that would be the last thing on their mind! So again I find it very rude and offensive to have such a nasty derogatory letter in my now waiting for my arrival after a week and a half of hell that I have been through. And by the way I have even paid for my services before I left the office building to take care of the cavity and it will not be fixed by this dentist as he made it clear he does not want me as a patient which is totally fine! Again he comes off as a great doctor to begin with but just make sure nothing happens in your life that you can't control and be sure no matter what to give them a call even if it's a life changing experience happening in your life you must call them or you will get a nasty letter and they will turn on you like you were just the person from the streets. All of you at that practice should be ashamed of yourself! And look how he tries to blast me out for speaking the truth! BTW DR. Stern you don't have my permission to talk about details out certain visits! HIPPA Buddy! You can say what You wish but don't you EVER talk about my visits! You're clearly one liar! It's funny how you say I've missed multiple appointments! Why don't you be real and tell people how you and your staff really are! Assholes!

He made it sound like I wasn't taking care of or brushing my teeth. Was rude about it but I looked at it from his perspective because he's a dentist it's his job to educate his patients... I made an appt for some fillings to be done and when I spoke to the receptionist I let her know the anxiety and fear were bad she laughed thinking I was joking and said "you'll be okay". There was a misunderstanding on when the appt was so I missed it and we rescheduled it for this morning. They were extremely shady and dishonest about if my insurance covered my appointment. They held the information that I was out of network even when I repeatedly asked if everything we were doing was covered. I was told that it would be. They were all in such a rush to get to lunch that the dental hygienist said we had to hurry up and that we might not get to everything today (I was only there for a simple cleaning). When I left, the receptionist said I was all good that everything was covered. I was handed no bill or any paperwork of my visit there. A week and a half later I got an outstanding bill and my insurance did not cover it because the dental office was out of network.

Due to his inability to read an X-ray, my baby girl woke up during drilling and was traumatized. NO impaction suddenly became four FULLY impacted teeth and one hour, meaning she wasn't given proper anesthesia at the start of surgery. She had to be put on anti-biotics afterwards which is not given when conducting a typical removal.
