I understand the odor in regards to urine and stool, but to let somebody sit in that for hours on end is deplorable. The staff is constantly complaining about their hours, the pay, and the residents. The staff is continuously on their phones with personal text or calls and the language that they use is disgusting. People are there to get better or maintain whatever life that they have left and the staff is so miserable that they can't even give them the dignity that they deserve. If I could give the zero stars I would. I'm only grateful that my father was only there for a week.

It would take over 30 minutes once you push the help button for someone to come in and check on you. So if you need to use the restroom, you better think of it way in advance if you need help. The halls were an obstacle course even if you didn't have mobility issues. The food was atrocious and I was there during summer and it was extremely hot. They would have a fan in the hallway pointed at the nurses station. I would say take your time and find a decent place and don't trust your loved ones here

There is a challenge with staffing as it seems businesses everywhere have shortages since COVID. However, administration works together as a team. Michelle Hardy, the Director of facility, actually works as an aide when needed. Mom who has dementia lived with me for 3 years. When she needed more help, I placed her here where our family visits 4-5 times per week. We feel this is a good fit and recommend.

There is only one RN on staff for 140 residents and management is chaotic and unresponsive. My husband's grandmother took a fall here when she was supposed to be supervised by an aide. The worst of it, though, is that someone--a staff member or guest--stole her wedding bands and one other ring right off of her hands. The person went into her room and told her that she needed the rings for safekeeping. I am disgusted that someone would treat a vulnerable, 97-year old defenseless woman like this. We are reporting this to the local authorities and to the BBB. Avoid.

24/7 home care should be just that, reliable and secure. After just a few days of their service we…read morehad problems with most of the eight hour shifts we paid $24/hour for. Aides calling off, aides leaving early without notifying anyone, the care is anything but seamless and reliable. Of the 7 different aides we retained in our initial week of home care for our parents, one was outstandingly professional, 2 were just adequate, 2 never showed up and the other two left shifts early, leaving a dementia patient. At one point, the aide was asleep In front of the TV while the dementia patient wandered the house in the middle of the night, discovered by his frail wife, who was supposed to be able to sleep through the night. It was our parent's desire to remain in their home with 24 hour care, but after less than a full week, we decided we couldn't take a chance with our parents' safety any longer and they will enter assisted living facility so we can sleep at night in confidence that they are being cared for.
