We hosted my daughter's 6th birthday at Kamins farm surrounded by rescued animals and the sweetest family who works day and night to ensure these animals finally feel love and safety! It's takes a real special person to pour their life into helping animals who don't have a voice. And I love to support places like this! We had her party from 11-1 and it included a cute painting class in a fully decorated room which I appreciate as we try to not be wasteful with tons of decorations. Literally, you don't need a single decoration because they do such a great job decorating each room in a super cute bohemian style! Then the last hour included visiting the animals with a tour by Kate the beautiful soul behind this magical sanctuary! They also have a huge Playset for the kids to play on so it's really nice to have an outside party that feels like you're at a house but not your house. We upgraded our party to include a bounce house which the kids LOVED! The food part is byof which worked for us. This was the best party we had in all six years because it felt so relaxing and calming. Typically those words don't go hand and hand with birthday parties lol! Even the parents commented that it was the perfect place for a party. Outside of birthday parties Kamins Farm hosts tons of different events that you can find on their Facebook page. I highly recommend you check out this charming Sanctuary.

This little family farm is SO cute! We came here for a private event with one of my mom groups and my daughter had SO MUCH FUN. The play room is modern, comforting and clean. The animals were friendly and there were plenty of outdoor cars and bikes to play on. The mini bouncy houses and swings are a cute touch as well. Price was $15/person, which is extremely fair considering this IS a working farm. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Great spot to book a birthday in the future.

Enjoyed a visit here with my goat-loving wife. Nice operation. Wife was hoping to see some baby goats but there was only one. I'm not sure what makes this farm a sanctuary. From what I saw it's basically a for profit petting zoo.

Goat Yoga! So much fun and such a relaxing way to spend a Saturday morning! Low key and family friendly thing to do- also perfect for a date! All the money goes back into the care of the animals. Pro tip** lots of poo, wear clothes you want to wash right away and don't plan on going anywhere super classy right after if you're not going to have time to change! (It's totally worth it though!)

Came here for the first time today for a birthday party. It was amazing, so fun, and relaxing! The owner, Kate, was super nice, knowledgable, and taught us so much about the animals and all the work that goes into owning the farm and keeping the animals safe, happy, and healthy! What a great place for these little guys who are SO friendly and loving. If I could give more stars I would. The person who called this a petting zoo and gave 1 star is clearly just jealous and unhappy. This is not a petting zoo. The animals have amazing space to run around and live and eat, etc. Definitely here to educate the public on animals and how to respect them.

My husband and I came here for the first time for a Goat Yoga class and it was perfect. We weren't expecting to do a lot of yoga with the goats all around, but we did! The instructor led a lovely class and the entire time goats were roaming around, eating and laying on our mats! After we were able to take pictures with the goats and meet some of the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful! We would recommend this farm to everyone!

Other cats are in condos which are 3 story containers that cats can go up and down in and still be away from the other cats. These cats are waiting for the "all clear" from the medical checkup, or they might be very shy and not ready for the other cats. Other kitties have other homes depending what their reasoning is. The goal is to get everybody into the free range area. But all of the cats that I have talked about are able to be adopted, no matter where they are in the shelter. There is also a viewing room if the kitty you want to meet is in a container. The ones that are free do not go into the viewing room. There is so much more to talk about. There are many volunteers and the 2 people that do the adopting out, Michael and Linda, are so terrific. They explain every question you may have. And they make sure every cat and every person stays safe and happy. And all of the complete paperwork gets done and together when a cat is adopted out. Best shelter ever.

Mostly volunteers There are so many fur babies both cat and dog that need forever homes. I had the pleasure of coming in to an event where we returned unclaimed cash valued at over $200,000 that was being held in the states unclaimed property section that was left by a lake county resident So great to be here and help out the shelter and these beautiful dogs and cats Remember fur babies are gifts to us and deserve the best. If you can, please come by and take a fur baby home for the rest of their life. They deserve to be loved and spoiled
