I'm torn between a 4 and 5 star here. I'll do my best to explain. My wife decided to come here…read morebased on the recommendation of a longtime friend of ours. - 4 Stars - The appointment for hair treatment was made for my wife. She did it online through their website. The appointment needed to be approved before you were confirmed for the appointment. The appointment was eventually confirmed. Oddly, my wife booked it for the 25th of Dec, but it was ultimately approved. When the day came for the appointment, we drove out (25 mins) to the salon and get there about 15 mins early. When it hit 10 am, we noticed no one arrived to open the salon. So she gave it 5 mins and made a call to the number provided in the email. To much the surprise of the person on the other line, she did not realize she had an appointment. But (much to even much surprise) she said she lived about 20 minutes away and was on her way. So we decided to wait it out. - 5 Stars - First, the fact that this individual came in (regardless of the mixup) was enough to earn 5 stars. She definitely is a specialist in hair health and took care of my wife. I went to grab a bite to eat but (after taking a look at my wife's scalp) told her she was going to need about an hour and a half to get her back on point. And that she did. It was a long appointment and my wife (and I) were more than impressed by the results. My wife also spoke to me about their time talking to each other. It must have been a good discussion because my wife was vibrant and full of life afterward telling me about all the stuff they talked about. All in all, how can you complain about an appointment mixup when someone is willing to come in and open up just for you, on Christmas no less? Just an impressive display of commitment to the customer by the owner Miny. Note (to other customers): looking at the reviews, it doesn't seem like this place is a salon for hairstyling as much as they are experts in hair care. I could be wrong but that would be my inference. Thank you.

I sat in her chair and just prayed for the best. But she talked with me, addressed my hair concerns, and leaves me feeling beautiful whenever I leave. I usually just get a wash and press, and I only come once a month or so, but I appreciate Miny's honesty and how she takes cares of my hair and makes it look great when it's done. This picture is from a day after she did it, so instead of the tighter curls I left with I had a beach look today which I loved.

The Hair Club - Tukwila, Washington…read more I'm writing this review because I don't want anyone else to go through what I did at The Hair Club in Tukwila. I met with a lady named Susan for a hair loss consultation. Her assistant took pictures of my hair while she explained that my hair was in very poor condition and said I was the "perfect candidate" for their program -- which would cost around $8,000-$9,000. I told her I couldn't decide right away because that's a lot of money, and I wanted to research and compare other clinics. But she kept pressuring me, saying I could "lock in a discount" if I put down a $1,000 deposit right then to receive some products and a laser hat. I paid with my PayPal MasterCard, thinking I'd get the laser hat in the mail. But after doing more research, I found so many bad reviews from people saying this place only cares about money. I immediately felt uneasy and decided not to move forward. When I told Susan I wanted to cancel, I offered to pay just for the products, but she said the $1,000 couldn't be refunded because I was already "locked into the program." I never received the laser hat, and PayPal didn't help either. Now I'm left with a bag full of unopened products (photo attached) that cost me over $1,100. The whole experience was stressful, misleading, and left me feeling taken advantage of. Please be careful before signing or paying anything here. Take your time, read reviews, and don't let anyone pressure you the way they did to me. I truly hope this helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

0 stars if possible…read more GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND/OR RECORD EVERYTHING!!!!! Where do I start! 1. Terrible communication skills. 2. Seemingly Deceitful tactics. 3. Failure to provide purchased services. 4. Failure to provide purchased products. 5. Extremely Forgetful. 6. Inconsistent behavior. 7. Swindle-Like behavior or just plain incompetency. 8. Wasting your time. I repeatedly informed the front desk staff of my work schedule which has not changed since paying in full at the beginning of the program. They consistently scheduled me during work hours or at times that would cross into my work schedule. I paid in full and ended up having to schedule myself a few times. Twice I drove to the salon and was told they canceled on me or I didn't have an appointment. During one of these, the front desk staff told me "they called me" but I received no calls. I don't think they called me at all. My number was connected and working. Today, is apparently the last day of my "treatment." They didn't tell me that during my last appointment. In fact, on the 8th, they called me to "remind me of my appointment the following day." Okay. Cool. Guess what, it's schedule 15 minutes before I start my shift. I cancel and they told me "we will have you in at 1:00pm on the 16th." (Today). So, I come in at the time and date they told me to. Guess what! "Sorry, you ran out of benefits (sessions) and you don't actually have an appointment today. We tried to call you. I know we called you." Nope. No phone calls received or missed on my end. Sounds like more crap and posturing to save one's own tail if I'm being a little honest. And don't get me started on the fact that despite paying in full at the beginning, two times (at least, maybe three times total) I didn't receive the products I paid for. Which personally I consider blatant theft and scammy, scummy behavior. In one instance, they asked if I wanted my products mailed to me. I said yes. Never got them. I inquired about their corporate branch and was met with "I'll print out a schedule of your appointments over the past year." I could have kept pressing. I could have gotten angrier and more upset, but I didn't want to escalate things like that or upset the young woman at the desk. Or disrupt other client's sessions. Or upset the techs. I knew I'd be the bad guy if I did. And I don't want to deal with some corporate shill suing me. I forgot to mention they'd "review my regrowth progress" with me but they never showed me any photos or anything related to such. Which is highly unusual. Not because they said they'd do it, and they didn't. But because it's common practice to review with clients what their progress is. I also intend on lodging complaints with their corporate branch, if I can find them. But like I said, I was given a schedule instead of any useful information about Hairclub's corporate entity.

She paid close attention to detail, craved feedback and you could tell she genuinely cared about the work she was doing as well as customer satisfaction. Overall I'm VERY happy with the service my husband and I have received at Seattle SMP- just make the consultation, you'll be sucked in and happy you took the plunge. Thanks to this team of ladies I'm entering the summer with a high pony-tail and WAY less obvious hair thinning. Cannot thank you both, enough, for the confidence we've both gained.

You will not regret it. My hair has been thinning for awhile. I've tried everything to fix the way it looks. I used Rogaine for a long time until it started burning my scalp. I've tried hair pieces. I've tried using tinted dry shampoo. I've tried microfibers you sprinkle in your hair. Nothing was really the answer, because even if I could get it looking mostly ok, I'd always have to take a shower and wash it out and then live with myself at home looking bald. So, knowing it was going to be expensive I decided to at least reach out and see what could be done. Google turned up MM Seattle with the five star rating and how could I go anyplace else? I'm so glad I found Minela! Here are some things to know: She's super cool but totally chill and easy to talk to. Do not be intimidated by how cool she looks! Her studio is clean and bright and welcoming. It's not a spa like some places and it's not a tattoo parlor, either. She is passionate about covid protocols. The large windows are open and there is an a/c vent blowing right in your face, which means she's not breathing directly on you. I was afraid it would be challenging to get there from Renton, or to find it, but it was neither. Just thinking about going on the West Seattle Bridge and navigating around that area gives me hives but it turned out to be really easy to get to. There isn't a lot of parking but once you get used to the layout, I never had trouble finding parking in the area. And, of course, there is the result! My hair has never been thick but in the last few years, it's been THIN. You can't see the dots at all, even though the overall effect is a full head of hair. I can put my hair in a ponytail or wear it down with a part. I can make a part anywhere, which is extra cool. So yes, it was expensive, but it was for me, and my only regret is not doing it earlier. If you have thinning hair but you're not completely bald, I wanted to make sure you have a picture for reference because when I was looking for examples, I only found one picture of long hair. You're welcome!!

Their suppliers take forever and their process to order produced several units of the completely wrong color. They ignored my complaints every time at the initial cut ins. My concerns were not taken seriously such as being fit with the wrong color, being fit with an inappropriate hair system for my needs, etc. My first consult with them I asked what they did for someone who wants a low density system with an exposed hairline. They told me not to worry about it but when it came time to install the hair, they recommended not having an exposed hairline because they can be "hard to manage". Why wasn't that mentioned at the consultation before I paid? The stylist's seem to avoid wanting to use glue on their systems which is known to be the most realistic hairlines. Even though I complained the system sat too high on my head and looked inappropriate, they insisted on using a clip on system rather than gluing a lace system. Their consultation and recommendations were beyond inappropriate for what I asked for at my consultation and subsequent fittings. The staff has no sense of urgency. They had no problem taking my money but as soon as I paid I had to keep contacting them to see when I would receive my hair. 5 months from payment to first cut-in is longer than any other salon I've ever seen. And it was the wrong color after all of that! For $1,500 I am disappointed in their lack of experience (stylist had less than a year experience doing hair systems) Lack of support for the hair system (I had to ask them how to maintain it, what products to use, how to put it on, etc.) They don't include any glue or tape for the user to use at home. They also don't CUT YOUR HAIR. Yes for $1,500 they don't even cut your own bio hair underneath the hair system. That costs extra. Overall I don't really see any redeeming quality about this place. They genuinely messed up in every part of the experience and made it a terrible experience to have to go through. I'm so glad I was able to find another salon that meets my needs for a third of the cost. Not sure why William Collier can charge 3x as much as other places but not have the basics down yet. Men, look elsewhere for hair solutions.
